Absolute paradise, stunning and magical! The rooms are gorgeous, a combination of rusticity and luxury, the surrounding nature is amazing, breakfast was delicious and varied, drinks by the pool were heavenly. The village square is a short walk from the hotel and every restaurant is excellent. We only wish we had more time to try them all. Trancoso is unlike anywhere I’ve ever been and this hotel captures its essence perfectly.

Excellent experience! Room was clean and overall hotel was beautiful. We also had amazing breakfast every morning. The hotel employees were so kind & responsive and helped with all of our needs. We had one issue with our shower, but the staff was quick to fix the issue and made sure we were taken care of. Could not recommend Soleluna more! It was a 10/10 experience.

Beautiful pousada. Great services. 4 minutes drive from the Quadrado but they offer free transfer in the evening. The driver is very friendly and helpful.

This is very hard review to write about it as the pousada itself deserves a 5 Star rating, however we can't ignore the fact that the transfer service suggested and organized by the pousada posed a threat to our lives during our transfer back to Porto Seguro Airport. I have travelled extensively around the world and never felt so worried about the situation we were in. The bad: I will make it short but basically we were picked up at 2am by a driver that did not know the roads, could not see property (I had to ready the signs for him, use my GPS and tell him when a speed bump was near), and a car that was not even close to being proper to be out on a Brazilian highway in the middle of the night, the car broke twice within the first 15 minutes and the ventilation system wasn't working causing the windows to be fogged the whole time, there were old electric wires holding the engine parts together, a complete nightmare, remember this is backcountry road in Brazil without phone reception, service stations or cities along the way, is the middle of nothing in the middle on the night. The Good: The pousada is absolutely stunning, the room was extremely welcoming and comfortable, breakfast had enough variety and location was close enough to the quadrado. Transfer was offered in the evenings and the driver Henry was very helpful and had lots of information to share. I recommend the pousada but organize your transfers with a company in Porto Seguro.

Fantastic service! Nice and clean pousada, I have only good too say about it. The only downside was that there had been som robberys close by, but Brazil is Brazil.
