My wife and I have rarely been as well cared for by a host as we were by Antico Mondo’s Emio. His advice about signature local restaurants was spot on. We followed his advice about food with pleasure and delight. Emio’s off the cuff recommendations about day trips to nearby cities/towns in Puglia took us on gorgeous backroads to an assortment of diverse adventures and landscapes: Noci, Lecce, Matera, Alberobello, and Ostuni.
Our room overlooked the Adriatic and the beach and cliffs surrounding Loma Monachile. It was beautiful and well-appointed with some of the most astonishing views we have ever experienced at a lodging. The breakfasts were lovely and the assistance in parking, transferring to the hotel and back to the parking were executed with professional dispatch and care. We’d go back. Antico Mondo rates a 10 out of 10!

During our stay we were very bothered by our neighbors who made alot of noise. When we informed the staff about this they forwarden our messages to the neighbors, instead of solving the problem, which created a realy awkward situation for us. At our checkout the hotel gave us a package of pasta as compensation....
We could not sleep well and were woken up early every morning for a week.
Would not recomend if you want a relaxing stay.

Excellent place to stay in Polignano a Mare. Right in the heart of everything. The room itself was great. Clean, spacious, and had everything we needed. The staff were super friendly. Would highly recommend!

This property should be rated a 5 star! It exceeded our expectations and I can’t say enough great things about the management and staff! Everything was beautiful! The rooms are kept extremely clean and are very spacious…. The buffet breakfast was delicious!! And the views from our suite was spectacular. I can’t wait to go back! Emio, our host was there every step of the way…. And if he was not able to be there he made sure his assistant Giuseppe was! Top notch service! 5 star. Amazing!

Really really happy with this place. Hosts were fantastic! Super helpful. They organised boat trips for us, told us places to eat, organised a great car hire service and even organised a last minute cab to the airport when the train never arrived.
Awesome work guys. Your place has my heart. Excited to visit again soon

This property was perfect for us. The room was large and comfortable. It is located in the heart of the old town area. The property itself was so unique. We had a first floor walk up in the middle of shops, restaurants, bars. You could walk everywhere. Even though there was a lot going on around us, it was not noisy when inside our room. Our view was spectacular. We overlooked the cliffs and beach area. The staff was amazing. Emio and Giusseppe helped us arrange both dinner reservations and several day trips to surrounding areas. They had personal relationships with all the tour people that we booked so we knew it would be good. The boat tour is a MUST. Daily breakfast was great! The entire area of Polignano a Mare is fabulous.

Everything was amazing! We loved staying at Antico Mondo. Our room was beautiful with a spectacular view of the sea. Emio, Giuseppe and the staff were the best. Thank you so much for all your efforts and attention.

What a beautiful stay we had. The apartment was beautifully furnished and decorated to a high standard and very quiet.
The hosts Emio couldnt do enough for us, recommending restaurants and beaches to visit and providing assistance when my husband became unwell. They offered parking a short walk from the apartment. Breakfast was offered for 10 euros a day and was plentiful. Would definately recommend this property. If you fancy a negroni make sure you visit Hops Bar best negroni we found in town

We had the most amazing stay at Antico Mondo! The staff was beyond friendly and very helpful. We came to Poligano a Mare during the town’s yearly parade which made it difficult to hire a taxi for our ride back to the airport. The kind man at the front desk, Emio, offered to drive us himself. I don’t know what we would have done without him! Our room was lovely and we even had two balconies attached which was a pleasant surprise! I would recommend this hotel to anyone and everyone. Thank you Antico Mondo! Hopefully we’ll be able to come back someday!

This was beyond excellent!!! Beautiful room wonderful people EM I/O was like having our own personal concierge and friend while we were there so helpful 24 hours a day everything was easy about this place and everything was perfect I would definitely go back

Perfect location, right in the centre of polignano a mare, next to the beach and within walking distance to all the restaurants.
We had really nice room with balcony. Breakfast was amazing and just enough to start the day.
Staff were very friendly and super helpful. Recommended the restaurants and place worth visiting. We had couple of trips which were great too. If you looking for a place in the heart of polignano a mare, its a perfect choice.

Antico Mondo was in one word AMAZING! The staff (Emio) was very responsive and made the whole process a breeze. He set up a transport from the train station for us and also aided us in setting up a tour of the town. The room was beautiful and very clean. The location of the hotel was perfect and the balcony had a gorgeous view of the water. We have and will be recommending Antico Mondo to everyone we know. We cannot wait to visit again

Really, was a wonderful stay. The place is very comfortable, the room fantástic, really beautiful, with a great location in (inside the historic center), with many restaurantes to enjoy. All in the Anticco Mondo, is well done, everything delicately thought out and arranged, the decoration, the aromas in the room and common room, the details... and the most important, their people, really kind, a service of first quality. Many thanks to Emio and Guiseppe (and the complete team, the breakfast delicious), really they made us feels special, and our stay the best in our travel in Italy

Fantastic stay in the heart of the historic part of Polignano. Emio and the staff are super attentive and supportive in finding all the best restaurants and things to do in Puglia. Room not fully soundproof but to be expected in historic buildings. Highly recommend staying here, we had a perfect holiday! Grazie

This is the place you need to stay if you are coming to this beautiful area! The room was state of the art, gorgeous & with one of the best views ever! What makes it extraordinary is Emio. the wonderful man who runs it.
The extra care he took of us will never be forgotten! We missed breakfast & he made sure we had it. I was injured on a tour & he made sure we had everything we needed.
Without a doubt, staying here needs to be on your bucket list! The absolute best!!!

Antico Mondo was an absolutely beautiful spot! The location is perfect, our room overlooked lama Monachile. Emio was extremely hospitable, he was there for anything we needed and he went above and beyond to make sure our stay was perfect! If you’re looking for a place to stay while exploring polignano a mare, look no further. The room was spacious and clean. Our outdoor space was incredible! The steam shower is a nice touch, great after a long day of walking around and the breakaways delicious! We will definitely be back! The online photos of the room were accurate!

I can't say enough about Antico Mondo. The room was beautiful, spacious and well appointed. The location is perfect and the views are spectacular too. Definitely do the breakfast! Everything was fresh and amazing. Even though we had to park a few blocks away, they have dedicated parking spots and a service that shuttles you and your luggage. Our host, Emio, was very friendly and helpful. He helped us refine our day trip plans and got us reservations at the best restaurants. This is on the higher price point side but absolutely worth it. I can't wait to come back.
