Close to bus and train station. Everyone there was so helpful and spoke excellent English. Would visit again!

We Really enjoyed our time here. Staff were fantastic and helpful. 10 min walk to lovely beach and not overrun with tourists.!! 10 mins to train station, if you wish to go to Sorrento or take the bus at the corner..Or walk there on the coastal route. Local restaurants and pizzeria / bakery close by.

Brought us a fridge, really homely, bed left a bit to be desired, really friendly without invading privacy, bit off the beaten track without own transport limited, but great property

Host is nice. Breakfast is good at the quiet garden. The small town has its own charm. Clean, but not luxury. It has parking and elevator.

I really enjoyed my stay at La Pennichella Sorrentina. It is a beautiful charming old bed and breakfast very close to the beach, store and public transportation. If you want an authentic non-touristy stay close to Sorrento...I recommend staying here in Meta which is a small beach town. Lastly, the owner and staff are great hosts and very friendly. I will be staying here again.

Stayed in this charming old building for 10 days, staff friendly and helpful. Our room was spacious and characterful, with a pleasant balcony, a small kitchen area with a fridge. The continental breakfast was served in the garden when the weather permitted which was lovely. There is also a rooftop terrace with amazing views, accessed by a spiral staircase. The location is rather quiet, but there are quick transport links to Sorrento about 10 minutes by train, Pompeii about 30 minutes by train. The train station is around a 5 to 10 minutes walk from the hotel. Would recommend this hotel for those wanting a quiet, peaceful stay but with good connections to livelier places

The two bed apartment that we stayed in was great. It gave us access to the train to visit Sorento and to local (private) beaches. Great spot for a short stay but if you have a wide car the roads are kind of narrow. Staff were excellent and very helpful.

It was wonderful. Very homey, safe and tasteful. I felt the owner and staff went out of their way to make guests feel comfortable and taken care of. Meta is such a charming village away from tourist activity. Would absolutely return.

As a solo female traveller I am more conscious about the location of my hotel and it surrounding vicinity. I stayed at La Pennichella Sorrentina in May for 3 nights and was extremely pleased with my stay. I had a clean spacious room with staff that went out of their way to accommodate my needs. I could not thank them enough. They were aware that I was on my own and I noted they went the extra mile to help me and ensure I felt safe at all times. To be fair it is not in the heart of Sorrento but it did not pose a problem at all. There is a bus stop literally seconds away and a train station which is a 10 minute walk. During my vacation I managed to experience Sorrento, Positano, Capri (visited Blue Grotto) and Pompeii, all were very easy to get to! I strongly recommend you stay here, you will not be disappointed! I will definitely be returning in the future. :)

Very cozy and super good value. Bed was great and room was clean. Great service from one of the staff who offered to park my car for me after he saw me scrape the paint of the rear quarterpanel trying to park it myself. Would stay here again. Never bringing a car into Meta again though.

I enjoyed a great 4 night stay and the ease of access to the wonderful Meta Beach was fantastic...

The owner Carlo was really helpful. Note if you have a car that parking is limited - but they juggle cars around to fit you in - don't hire a large vehicle! It is a good location for the train station to both Sorrento (10 mins journey 1.40 euro) and Pompeii, Herculaneum and Naples.

we stayed that lovely bed&breakfast. staff are very friendly. hotel is comfortable. our room was too big with a kitchen, fridge. we had a little garden infront of our room,beach is just 5-10 min walk. there is free parking. strongly recommended

Meta is a very nice town and we would visit it again but will not stay at this place. Our room was gloomy and not very clean. To be fair, this is ,probably, OK place if you stay for 1 night and travel by car (the parking is free).

Huge room, four poster bed ( hard), lounge, kitchen area, private outdoor seating, wifi worked in room. Breakfast was very basic with bad coffee. ( croissant, cakes & coffee). Owner was helpful & very pleasant. This place could be a top spot but several things let it down. Hot water runs out after one shower, shower area is very small, & the meagre breakfast . Also we needed toiletries but they were never filled up. We loved the village, close to train or a good 40 minute walk into Sorrento. I would still recommend the place as we loved the area.

I had an enjoyable stay here. My room was clean and very cute- it was cleaned very day as well. Breakfast was good - the cornetto/brioche is prepared the morning of so it is warm when you eat it! Amazing! The location is good as well - close to the Meta train station (~7 minute walk at most). I only wish that it had been easier to find someone around during the morning/evening when I had questions. However, I never had any issues and in the end was always able to get/find the information I needed. Pleasant stay, would stay again.

Our one night stay was not enough time and this wonderful bed and breakfast. The unit was more than we expected with 2 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms and a kitchenette area. We were able to use the breakfast area to enjoy our dinner. The owner Carlo went out of his way to make us feel at home at this place. Would stay here again.

Spent overnight stay here. Small apartment on bottom floor. Not many places to eat around area. Lovely 4 poster bed with kitchenette. Beautiful breakfast. Owners very friendly.
