Nice swimming pool and firepit, lounge chairs on lawn oceanside, onsite restaurant and lots of nearby dining and shopping, great walking/bike path with bikes available at the hotel, good 'grab and go' breakfast with tables available if you wanted to eat there. Small refrigerator in room, no microwave.

Likes: ocean view from the rooms, centrally located between North and South points of interest on the island, proximity to shopping and eateries. Dislikes: only restaurant on grounds opens late afternoon, pool needs better lighting and repairs, hotel is old and dated. We made reservations 2 months in advance for our honeymoon for a weeks stay and a special request for ground level room and king sized bed (which we specifically reserved), and were ignored. We were instead told to "just push the 2 full sized beds together" on our 2nd floor room. I overheard other guests with similar concerns which were also ignored in favor of other guests staying shorter periods of time. Even after requesting a room change the next day and explaining my wife's difficulty going up stairs, we were told that we could move to the 3rd floor room with a king sized bed or stay in our current room. The lack of consideration for special requests and customer service has lots of room for improvement.

Property is old and rundown. Room was hot, clear AC wasn’t working properly.

We forgot one of the pair of shoes inside room during check out. Surely, it was just under the bed. We cant even retrieve the shoes. Crazy!

Had a pleasant enough stay

When you arrive at the hotel, the front desk looked like two old military desks and could’ve been way more inviting with Hawaiian music playing instead of the modern rock that was playing. We arrived early and it would have been nice to have a safe place to store luggage while you wait for your room. The walking path and bike path allows you to walk and bike to shopping. There are free bikes that you can pick up at the hotel. Most of the hotel staff was great however, the very first person we came into contact with and one that we came into contact most did not have that aloha spirit and seemed to be grumpy most of the time, The pool area was nice, but the outside planters weren’t planted, and there was no little bar anyway to buy drinks to have by the pool bushes. The patio furniture was kind of old and thread bear. Overall was a very nice place. A nice quiet neighborhood. The rooms were clean and comfortable.

Not what I expected for the price paid

FANTASTIC stay. My only complaint (and it could just be ignorance on my part) is that the first night you could have hung meat in our room it was so cold. I didn't realize at the time how to adjust the temp with the system this resort uses. I figured it out and the rest of the stay as far as the temp goes was perfect. The location was perfect and just stunningly beautiful. The parking spots were pretty tight - if there's anything that the resort coud improve, I would suggest that.

Cleanliness and overall beauty of the hotel

It was ideal for a much needed break to simply enjoy some ME time with the ocean to soothe. The Bullshed didn’t disappoint…awesome! Only complaint was no suitcase stand and bathroom window was a privacy concern as it was low and on the walkway side of the room.

Friendly staffs. View is nice. Restaurant is on site and it is so convenient. We had a great time! 😅

The front desk older lady named Stacey I think and her supervisor, an Oriental lady were very deceitful and unrelenting. We had a room since Saturday the 15 of June and on weds June 19 we were given a new room on the 3rd floor after endurk g 3 days of the room above us stomping on the floor till 1130pm at night. On Thursday they told us we needed to move from that room 302 due to someone else booking it . We asked why can't we stay as we paid more for your deluxe ocean view room and this supervisor said what if the new guest don't like the deluxe room that's why you got to leave. So when we got to the room in L5 it was a disaster and when I complained why are you charging us for this upgrade when the deluxe room was terrible they countered deluxe means bigger not better. And they know we are 70 and 90 years old and not married and though I signed up for double beds we got one bed. When I asked why they told me beds aren't guaranteed. I have pics of room L5

Asked for housekeeping (because it’s done by request). But it was not done. Hope it doesn’t happen often. Facilities seems old, but it’s relaxing atmosphere is nice.

Love that they offer free cold breakfast and also free bikes. We paid the check out at 6pm because of a late flight, very convenient for us

We stayed one night . The view from the balcony was beautiful and the staff was polite and accomodating .

Very clean and quiet, kind of in its own little area so it felt safe and isolated and private. Very nice! Good home base for exploring around the island.
