Very friendly. Extremely convenient, just a few steps from the lift.

Great hotel for ski trip. If you’re a Karen/Kevin and your ski outfit will grace instagram not the slopes, go somewhere else. This is a wonderful hotel with comfortable beds and clean bathrooms that is easy walking distance to the slopes and downtown park city. It’s run by friendly people who enhance your stay.

For what it is, it’s a great property. A bit dated, but great location for a reasonable price. Owners are nice and helpful. Thanks.

Very close to the mountain

Iconic, quintessential ski lodge so close to Payday lift. Basic breakfast items. Plenty
of Hot water! Love the fireplace in the lobby. Recommend the coffee shop at the library! 10 min walk to grocery store or to down town park city. Very walkable! Overall a really nice basic place. Not many of these around anymore.

Our room did not have any heat. When we complained they gave us a tiny electric heater which only helped slightly with the outside temperatures in the 20's and only single pane windows.

Great hotel, I really enjoyed my stay here. Clean and quiet room, comfortable.
Staff is friendly and helpful.
Great location, 5-10min. Walk to the ski and shopping area.
Little extras I enjoyed: central fireplace is cosy, breakfast area is nice

Very basic lodge and well located ( 10 minutes walking from Payday lift and 10-15 minutes from downtown Park City where lot of restaurants and bar).
Staff is friendly and a simple but good breakfast is served in the morning.
Rooms and bathrooms are VERY basic: beds are quite uncomfortable (especially if you are 6'4), and heating is almost non-existent (extra blankets and small space heaters available at the reception). Fortunately, plenty of hot water at every time of the day.
Our room had a double bed and a twin, with a sofa in the middle. We wished they had room with 2 queens which would have been more comfortable for 2 guys. There is a nice fireplace in the lobby which make it a nice place to relax after skiing (but bring your own snacks and drinks).
A very convenient feature is the possibility to use the bathroom of the dorm to shower and change on the last day after skiing (check-0out is 10 am)

Excellent location, friendly & professional staff... lovely fireplace in the lobby area. Bed was comfortable and shower pressure was good too! Thanks Jason for a memorable stay!

The property was chosen as it was a block from our other condo we booked for the five days in Park City. Unfortunately our other booking fell through and the convenience was lost. We could not use it and could not get a refund, so we checked in to see the room. They need to upgrade the door locks. We had to ask the neighbor how to lock the door (pull and twist the handle from the inside). Time for the deadbolt and electronic locks to be put in. The decor was very dated both in the lobby and the rooms. The appeal is its location. Upgrades would be nice for the future. This was booked through Expedia who would not offer any refund for a hotel room that had been booked way in advance of our travel dates. We will look for a booking that allows cancellation in the future as this lack of flexibility six months in advance is not acceptable. This was a busy weekend due to the large amount of snow that just fell, this would have been easy to rent to others. Hopefully they will add more flexibility in the future.

Manage your expectations and you will be fine. This is a 2 star place that hasn't changed since 1975. The staff is friendly. The rooms, and gold shag carpet are acceptably clean. Its a 8 minute walk to the Payday ski lift. Having said that, the walk is mostly uphill with multiple sets of steps. Not easy at all to do in ski boots. Its best to pay to store your boots and helmets at the base. Carry just skis/poles back and forth. Use the free bus to go to the Fresh grocery store. Breakfast is minimal.

If you not looking to get comfortable room, just for place to crush after skiing day - it is place to go.

Just as advertised. A great place to stay if you want to be close to the slopes and walking distance to Old Town.
No frills, but decent continental breakfast to get your day started, comfortable rooms, and friendly staff.
A big plus is being able to leave your bags at the lodge and they allow you to use the bunk room showers the day you are leaving if you want to spend a full day skiing.

The dorm room is extremely uncomfortable.

Close to lifts for skiing/snowboarding and close to downtown

Very basic ski lodge but wonderful staff and good basic continental n-fast.
Very much an old school lodge. Nothing modern or fancy about it. Beds were comfy and rooms clean.
Only thing is Expedia promised a certain room that the lodge didn’t have have available.

Great location but the place is a dump. Did not clean our room any of the 5 days we were there.
I had interactions with I guess the son I think 5 times. He was a jerk every time not wanting me to come in 20 minutes early for breakfast to work on my laptop until coffee was ready.
He asked what I was doing going into the linen closet for clean towels etc.
When I checked out I complained about not having the room cleaned in 5 nights at $175 night tax. He had an attitude and that's when I got pissed and said we all thought his place was a dump and would never stay there again and that's my review. He said, "people post what they want and good we don't want you back again..."
Great location very close to PC slopes. New management would help. No mention of Covid why they did not clean room for 5 days, just cheap and lazy.

This is a great place if your purpose is skiing and skiing alone for the reasons below.
1- 5 minute walk to the lifts
2- Great Staff
3- Warm shower, warm and clean room, very comfortable sleep
4- They let you shower on your last day of skiing even if you had already checked out
What else will you need as a skier? Every resort needs a place like this. That’s the only place in Park City I will ever stay from now on.

The staff are friendly and easy to communicate..everything in the lodge were accessible and clean.. I would say breakfast was the best.. thank you for the service, see u in next season

Great place for a basic stay, very friendly staff, great location, and wonderful atmosphere.
Only negative is the walls are thin so if you had loud neighbors I could see that being a problem.
Would recommend.

It is about 3 min walk from the lifts so super convenient. I was impressed with this place. Staff was very nice. The room was good and enough space for the three of us. I would recommend this place 100%. I would myself stay again if I go back to park city.

The most charming ski lodge I’ve ever encountered. Super friendly and welcoming family owned lodge.

DO NOT ask staff about parking....
We arrived and parked out front, where there was plants of open spaces. Upon checking in I was told we had to park in the public parking garage a half mile away because we didn’t reply to their email to confirm parking.
I explained I’d never gotten an email and the owner (?) Jason started yelling at me out how they sent multiple emails and I never replied (...because I never got them). At both points when I had to ask about parking, I was berated by check-in staff for not replying to their emails. Both nights there were spaces available but I still had to sit through a lecture before it was ‘okay’ to park my car there...
Our room (1 full and 1 twin) was alright. Bed was uncomfortable and the shower and hairs in it still. But wasn’t expecting a super nice room based in the pictures and previous reviews.
The location is great for skiing at Park City.
But not worth 2 star quality hotel and unprofessional, aggressive staff.
Will not be staying here again...

Unfortunate. This place has SO MUCH potential to be overflowing with young people, families and couples. Nice building, hot showers, great location etc. But the vibe is just OFF. The staff is a little cold and they blare Fox News all day in the central hangout spot. No one needs to listen to that garbage while they are on vacation. Some young extravert staff, a little happy hour action and music and consistent fire in the central area would go a long way here.

I just love this place so much.
It feels like the old ski lodges I grew up skiing in.

Great location. Old-school style ski lodge. Definitely has seen better days, but great place to sleep in PC for the price.

Absolutely amazing location for the price. The walls are paper-thin, but

You could hear people talking next door. Walls are not insulated. If I have had party people, I would not have slept well. Luckily people next door went to sleep early.

Enough quality of complimentary continental breakfast.
Staff is so kind that we got very nice suggestions of dinner. Facilities are not so new but clean and nice.

Great basic accommodations. Decent sized room. Good location. Nice people.

Totally adequate. It’s very basic but for the price I’d stay there again. Clean, great location, and the staff was nice. Convenient to the slopes- not ski in ski out but very close to it! Very short walk to downtown and the High West distillery. Cozy fireplace in the lobby.

Great location. No frills, but I would stay there again. One thing that should be noted and possible deal breaker, only 10 parking spaces for 30 rooms.
1.3
Great location for a good price. The place is dated, but good overall value.
2.0
Convenient location. Hotel is older, but clean. Room was a little cold and window was a little drafty. Overall a decent place to stay if you’re just looking for a clean, relatively inexpensive place to sleep while you ski.

My original email was never answered, however the stay was enjoyable.
