amazing staff!!! Shout out Michelle !! Beach vibes , fun punch

May 25-June 1 2024 We had a wonderful time! Service was great! Meal choices were delicious and menu changed every 2 days for lunch and dinner. The bar staff were excellent and friendly especially Shane, Michelle and Stan! Michelle’s rum tasting was so fun and great history of each! The staff were all friendly and helpful. The rooms were clean, beds relatively comfortable and view spectacular. The road noise in room was quite loud but we had ear plugs so it didn’t bother us too much. Many bars/restaurants along the boardwalk and felt safe walking.

The property was clean, quite and lovely. Was a very relaxing week. The people were amazing! The alcohol choices at the bar were very limited. The doors in the room need to be sealed for noise. We will definately be coming back and highly recommend the SoCo!

Overall a disappointing stay, with the photos shown online, not being realistic. The hotel is in a serious need of updating, as it now looks very tired. This is not helped by the generally poor standard of cleaning that you would not expect from a lower grade hotel, let alone this one. The air conditioning unit in the room was not powerful enough and leaked. There was minimal hot water from a very poor shower and any request for support, such as requesting cushions for our balcony chairs (which were supposed to have them) took an age to resolve. The restaurant food was okay when one of the chefs was working, but poor at other times. The menu was also very repetitive and meant we decided to eat out on 4 days out of 9 (which is not what you expect when choosing all inclusive). The pool area is very small and there are only 12 sunbeds for a 24 room hotel. That is nowhere near enough. The local beach is not as idyllic looking as the photo. The final straw for us, was the lack of customer service that we experienced from almost all staff members. there were exceptions, but we mostly felt like we were an inconvenience and they would rather we weren't there.

So the only issue I had at this hotel was that the water to shower with was warm . Luke warm water . It was a hit or miss . I love my hot showers and I couldn’t wait to get home to take a hot shower . The water pressure was another issue . Overall the hotel was clean and the vibes were great . The staff was very friendly and helpful.

This was not a 4 star hotel. The property is dated and they only have 1 dining option, no spa, and no gym. Some of the dining staff were nice and hospitable but some were rude and acted like they didnt want to work. Service is slow and the staff were limited. Meals do not start on time but the manager's were accommodating and did their best to help. The menu options are also limited. The pool is very dated and cloudy so we didnt use it but its located right on a great beach location on a secluded beach so the ocean redeemed the pool. Its a great location on the board walk and housekeeping was very friendly. The location of the hotel is in a very dangerous street traffic location so be aware of traffic to be safe. There was a bad accident with fatalities while we were there that caused a power outage for most of the day. There is no generator fyi. Overall I give it 2.5 stars.

This is a perfect place to enjoy all the perks of an all inclusive resort without the craziness usually associated with such places. The food was absolutely incredible-I would go back just for the food. The staff were friendly and very helpful-it was a great place to relax enjoy the beach and just the slow vibes of a vacation. Highly recommended.

Soco is a really nice small adults only property located right on the beach. Spacious rooms, beautiful views, and excellent staff.

Limited alcohol. Same catch of the day everyday for 7 days. Staff is fabulous!

The Staff at the Soco are wonderful. It is a lovely boutique hotel with great beach access. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and can't wait to return.

Stay was great. Resort can do with some enhancement. A bit.more personality to the decor.

Even when we didnt have water pressure it didnt mess up my time there

I enjoy myself at the Soco hotel love Michelle she really is the heart of the hotel and keeps it going. Every staff is friendly and make sure all guest is well taken care off. I wish that when it comes to food, they are more sensitive to people that are lactose and have more options to those who are. Also, when it comes to the cups and plates guest shouldn't be served food with crack plates and crack cups. It's a very intimate resort and I hope next time I arrive its upgraded and better changes.

This hotel is convenient as far as being in walking distance of bars and restaurants. The Staff Shaq,Stan and Shane were the best, outside of them staff was slow and not really too friendly. It waz my birthday and my husband tried to have some special things set up and they offered nothing and were of no assistance, they told him to go down the road to find something. This is not a "VIP" hotel. Its definitely for a older and retired person/people. Everything was basic.

The maître d’s were great the bar saff was great the servers were good one could’ve been more pleasant. But all in all outstanding

Quiet stay, food options too redundant and much of the staff at the restaurant looked miserable.

WiFi is useless. Pool is small. Restaurant menu is very limited. No gym. No room service.

Staff were amazing! Went above and beyond to get to know us and serve us amazingly well.

Wonderful staff. Lots of little little things missing for a four star hotel. No hotel number on the bedside phone. Nothing to tell you how to use the phone. No note pad or pen. TV has multiple channels but no card to tell what’s what. Bedding and bathroom clean and plentiful. Nice pool, plenty of beds with mattresses. Lovely bar by the pool with wonderful staff. Very good dining facilities and good selection of courses makes it something for everyone.

The service and the food were both great. The kitchen is clearly understaffed and food took forever to get to us. It’s an older hotel and really needs some tlc. Water pressure in our room on the third floor was nonexistent and the shower head dripped constantly. The outside bar next to the pool was constantly good. Bar staff were all very attentive and service was fast. We thoroughly enjoyed our time here in spite of all the fairly minor issues.

Perfect to relax and rejuvenate especially if you are non-stop in your daily life. The staff is professional, courteous, and fun. The restaurant staff pay attention to what you like and try to proactively accommodate. The cooks are amazing. I'm Barbadian born and it was great to have a taste like I was sitting at my grandmother's table. Entertainment, shopping, and dining are easily accessible along the coastal strip. I've been recommending to family and friends, and will be back on the next vacation. Thank you Soco team.

Staff friendly

This hotel was marketed as an “all inclusive” which was not the case. It was considered “board” which means you have set hours for breakfast, lunch, and dinner. The “open bar” was bottom shelf alcohol and besides 3 key people (michelle, veronica, and Stan) the service was very bad. Not accommodating, gave me an attitude about asking for a beach towel, and it felt very sub par. I’m absolutely can not justify the amount of money we paid for this hotel which felt like a motel.

Pros: Location is beautiful, staff are very friendly and knowledgeable, room service does a great job. Cons: Food sometimes takes and hour to be served after ordering, at times some of the dishes can be very salty, burnt coffee.

The food at the hotel overall was great, other than that the hotel was below average. No wi-fi as advertised, very small, old hotel. Had to wait for towels and wash cloths everyday, and front desk woman was not pleasant at all.

Convenient location with the beach close by and the all inclusive package was excellent. Took longer than expected to check in, we have to wait an extra hour before our room was ready.

The people that work here are amazing! From the managers (who greet you personally), to the servers, cleaners, and bartenders. I’m sorry I’m bad at recalling names, but everyone there was so precious. My husband and I were so impressed. We would definitely return!

A place to excape the hustle of our everyday lives. Its simple and sweet. Perfect for a couple get away. The bar and pool are close to each other. The bar tenders make sure that your drinks are topped up always. We did all inclusive, meals were always hot and freshly prepared. The beach is also right there. Very calm, shallow and clear during low tide. If you fancy an afternoon or evening stroll, you can do so on the broadwalk.

Staff was great, very helpful, and accommodating.

This birthday trip was perfect. Staff were amazing... food was good... great location.... very quiet and drinks flowing all day and night.... we will be back!!!! Thanks SoCo :)
