The room I got said sleeps 5 it most definitely only sleeps 4 no couch and only full size beds. Idk how they can justify that.

The hotel had a great pool and indoor park for the kids. Breakfast was pretty good. The first front desk associate wasn’t the greatest. There was a way outdated fire alarm in our room probably 20-30 years old (should be replaced every 10) and there was mold in the tub and above the tub. Also what looked to be blood on the wall not from us. Other than that it was a good stay. And I would go back and stay again.

Clean close to downtown but not walkable

This property was very dated, but the room was still comfortable. The hot tub and pool were nice.

Our room was fine, but the bathroom was questionable. Some seriously gross walls and mold in the shower. The internet hardly worked - there wasn’t even enough to check your socials, and certainly not enough to stream.

The hotel was not very clean. The staff was not friendly reg animals. My card was inactivated from my cell phone when I took my mini Goldendoodle out. I had to go around the building to front desk to get a key and was yelled at for having a dog on the lobby. The breakfast bar was limited to everything they put out.10 juices at a time, wait period every time you wanted pancakes or sausages.

Older property but well-maintained. Everything was great except breakfast was cold informed staff, but they didn’t seem concerned. They need some training in safe food handling.

Hotel has made improvements since my last stay. The breakfast is now by the pool and has improved also.

Elevator needs to be fixed. Hard jerk when landing on first floor. I have a bad back and it was noticeable

The hotel was dirty, the rooms A/C was not working.

It was really good they have a nice facility and really clean nice pool and hot tub!

Loved that it was kid friendly, with many activities available for families. The only disappointment was the complimentary breakfast: There were no eggs to go with the sausages; the coffee did not taste good; I also suggest adding another type of fruit, to the apples. Thank you.

The person, who checked me in was: 1. Audibly barely to nonresponsive when asked about anything, e.g., when I asked her if there was an elevator, because I had office equipment to get to the second floor. I then asked if there was an elevator, where could I find it? Her answer was that room two would be better and closer. 2. After going into the room, which smelled like dog and cat urine and dandruff, I asked if I could have a different room, to which question again was unintelligible and dismissive without verbalizing a yes or no to my question. 3. This person had tattoos (not pleasing to my eyes), lip, facial piercings, and appeared not to have washed her clothes or body in, who knows how long. Sad! 4. Speaking of personal, the person in charge of staffing the front desk on August 22, 2024, was helpful in assisting me in getting one of my computers hooked up to the internet. However, his hygiene, specifically the cleanliness of his long ponytail was quite greasy. The trainee, however, was tidy in his hygienic appearance. 5. The internet was evidently cut off on the morning of my departure. 6. All in all, it wasn’t the worse place I’ve ever stayed, but I’m going to do my level best not to stay there again, and my company has me scheduled to be working in that area for at least two months.

This property has great potential. It has a lovely pool area and nice bar. The bartender was excellent. Front desk staff was ok. The food was limited and the breakfast bar was pitiful.

We were welcomed by the staff in the front desk. We got a room nearby the entrance as we requested. The check-in process was very efficient. The communication about the direction to our room and the breakfast time was very clear. The room is overall clean although we found some long hairs on the shower curtain. The area is very quiet. However, the options of food of the breakfast were very limited. We were told milk was running out.

Place was well-kept. We had a "pet-friendly room" so the floors were a polished cement. Not used to that in a hotel room but it wasn't a turn-off at all. Everything was clean, TV and remote worked well. Refrigerator was clean and very cold. Pool area was clean, super spacious. Hotel bar was part of an arcade but not IN the arcade, so that was nice. Wide range of drinks available. Plenty of parking in the lot, which is accessible from the front and the back of the building from two different main streets. We had a 16' boat with us and were able to split it from our truck and had no issue with connecting/disconnecting. If you do plan on traveling here with a dog, there are plenty of grassy areas to walk them in the immediate area. No streets to cross. WiFi always worked but the speed was greatly compromised as more guests arrived.

Inexpensive place to stay. They have made improvements to the rooms since my last stay a couple of years ago.

Easy and fast check in. Lovely room. Decent breakfast and good coffee. Nice overnight!

New carpet, new mattresses, lamps, etc. Very clean and comfortable. Only complaint was breakfast was not as good as in the past, buffet bar by the pool, didn’t offer much so we went elsewhere for breakfast, but Alpena doesn’t have much to choose from for breakfast. We will stay there again.

Clean and quiet. There is a small restaurant/pub on site, which was convenient after a day of driving. The food was good too.

Very happy with our room

I would like to give this location a better rating, but the hot breakfast only has eggs on the weekend, and the chef never cleans his apron. It is very unappealing and not a sanitary location at all. Sausage is all you get, and it's usually cold and dried out. Ramada, you need to fix this as guests mumble the same thing everyday ive been here.

We have stayed there about 4 different times and like the location, cleanliness, enjoy the hot tub & pool, staff is great.

We had a great experience! The hotel was clean and accommodating. Such a great hotel for a family! The arcade was really fun, even for us grown up!

Good experience

My go to Hotel in Alpena was booked, and this was the only place with openings. I've stayed in worse, and I've stayed in better. Not a bad place for the price. Key card readers at doors only worked intermittently.

Friendly staff. Good location

The reviews seemed harsh. Upgraded rooms. Its an old building that is trying. Pool area was just what we were looking for. Big arcade.

Quick trip to Alpena for a family get-toether. 2nd time we've stayed there. Staff was/is accommodating and friendly. Positive vibe.
