A pleasant room above a lively square in the beautiful town of Monza. A really neat small hotel setup, the the staff are all very pleasant with room cleaning done every day. A simple breakfast is provided at a nearby cafe on the square and makes for a really nice way to start the day. If we can we'd love to come back! Late check in was very easy, although a fee is involved, this is fair as the rest hours of the owner/reception clerk are disturbed by this.

Over all the hotel was great down side was parking, hotel did not have parking but there was a parking lot across the street. We did have to pay.

Excellent location and clean!

I thoroughly enjoyed my stay at the La Conda San Paulo. It is small charming boutique hotel in the Center of Monza. It was very clean and beautifully decorated. I originally reserved a regular (one double bed) room for one night. When my airline schedule changed just three days before arrival I reserved another day and at that time the only room available was a suite so I took it and it was a beautiful room. There were four small Juliet balconies and I had great views. I was prepared to move to my regular double room for my second night (as reserved) but they upgraded me to the suite for the second night so I didn’t have to change rooms. The staff was very friendly and helpful. One thing I didn’t know before arrival is that their Reception is open only in the morning (7:30 AM to noon) and evening (5:00 PM to 8:00 PM), so when I arrived I had to wait to check in. I stayed Jan 24 and 25, 2023. Their hours may be different in busy season. My wait wasn’t bad because there were shops and cafes and public seating areas in the square just in front of the hotel. I loved my stay there and would definitely recommend this hotel to others.

Locanda San Paolo is a fantastic hotel. The location is perfect being right in the city centre, with bars and restaurants on the doorstep and only a 5 minute walk from Monza train station. The staff are really friendly and accommodating. The rooms are always kept clean. I wouldn’t stay anywhere else when visiting Monza!

Both the receptionist were very helpful and friendly. The room was clean.

In the heart of Monza, this place is so fun and convenient. Note that Google Maps is not accurate. Search instead for Piazzo San Paolo and you will be there! Restaurants very close by. Several choices. 10 minute walk to train station. About 1.25 hour walk to Autodromo for Grand Prix. Everyone working at Locand0 San Paolo is very nice and will go out of their way to help make any kind of arrangement. Grazie!

This is a really lovely place. The room was spacious and comfortable, with great views over the rooftops of Monza. I recommend it whokeheartedly.

The hotel was wonderful and the owners went above and beyond. It was right in the centre of Monza, so everything was on our doorstep. The cafe where breakfast was served were lovely and made us feel very welcome. I feel that everyone is now a friend and we will definitely go back. Thank you xxx

Lovely authentic hotel. There was no staff when we arrived and we barely saw any staff during the day as we were out. Would stay here again.

Good very clean b&b. Breakfast was very limited -only a pastry, hot drink and cold drink - nothing else. Good location for visiting the historic Monza center.

Fantastic place with great location in Monza. Everyone at hotel and in the area are so friendly. Incredible place to stay for the Italian Grand Prix.

Lovely family owned hotel with exceptional service. Bed was very comfortable, room spacious, overlooking one of the main piazzas so very central. Staff were keen to help with advice and are obviously proud of what they have achieved here. If returning to Monza would definitely stay there again.

This turned out to be a good choice for an overnight stop between the Swiss Alps and the Italian Lakes. Different, distinctive and imaginatively designed.Its a small B&B in the heart of Monza which ought to be easy to access from the recommended nearby public car park but we made a mess of finding our way and spent more than 15 minutes wandering round the city centre, never from the Locanda but never quite finding it. We were rescued by an elegant lady walking her dogs, escorted to the right piazza and handed over in person to the management. It is hard to notice the narrow doorway to the Locanda sandwiched between open air cafes but we must have trailed our pullalong cases past it several times without noticing.Once we were there, the reception was sympathetic, friendly and helpful. Our third floor suite showed designers flair and came complete with a bookcase full of books on interior decoration. It had a great view over the busy piazza and to the cathedral beyond. There was plenty of room for the three of us, a large screen TV with access to BBC World, a well-equipped modern bathroom and a lounge/reading area beside the bookshelves. And yes, the wi-fi worked without hassle.The double bed was comfortable but we would have appreciated a more effective air conditioning system on a very warm July night in Lombardy. The teenagers rollaway was just as uncomfortable as in the 5 star hotel we had stayed in the previous night
