This place is way overpriced. Old , run down .bathroom floor was stained and appeared dirty. Entrance had a concrete ramp that was previously painted but badly in need of a fresh coat. One barely accessible outlet to charge a phone. No elevator and very steep stairs to second floor rooms. Staff was friendly

My second stay and the Inn and another wonderful experience. Front desk staff is super helpful and bartender was the best. Awesome rooms and the coolest town in Mi make this at the top of my favorite places to visit.

Perfect spot to stay downtown for the Iron Man competition. This is a historic hotel and fits that description. This is our second visit and would stay again.

We enjoyed the closeness of this property to all the shops and restaurants in the downtown area. Our room was fun with a trendy design. The hotel was quiet and clean. We stayed with a family of 4 and the room had plenty of room for us all. They even had coffee and pastries for breakfast free of charge. Loved this unique boutique hotel.

I loved this hotel, I chose it b/c each room is individually themed and used to be an old Victorian home where sailors stayed. I chose the "up north" room which was beautifully decorated like a cabin in the woods. It had a huge & private jacuzzi tub and sauna and we had a private balcony that overlooked the quiet main street with wide openings so we could view the boats in the harbor. I also chose it b/c it was within walking distance down to the beach and lighthouse. It was more expensive than I usually like to spend for a night but we were doing a special lighthouse house tour and I knew my husband would love and enjoy the personal sauna, which he did. It was super clean and the bed was king size and comfy. I would love to be able to go back someday.

Loved our stay in Frankfort! The town is beautiful and very family oriented. Hotel Frankfort was quaint & clean and a walkable distance to the beach, many restaurants and shops. I cannot comment on the bar or restaurant as we did not patronize either. The only constructive criticism I can provide was the darkness in the hallway on the second floor. Lights seem to be on a motion sensor. Thanks for your hospitality!

This sweet little hotel is in the perfect location in Frankfort!! Friendly front desk staff who gave us vouchers for a great cup of coffee down the street since they don't serve breakfast at the hotel! The room was clean, comfortable and spacious!! Old boutique hotel charm! This hotel is right on Main Street with plenty of shopping and restaurants! Within walking distance of the beach and Frankfort lighthouse!!

The hotel is very old but well maintained.
I was in the music room which is very small there was a mildewy smell and when I turned the air conditioner on it was worse also beware.. the bathroom is teeny tiny and the toilet in super low!
The staff are great and definitely made up for short comings of room.. probably won’t stay here again.. but it was an experience!

The staff was very friendly, the restaurant food was exceptional. They only serviced dinner but very good. The hotel had coffee and packaged danish and muffins for breakfast or you can go to the nearby cafe. Would recommend.

We loce the property's history, appearance, and convenience to shopping and the warer. Our Cork Crew returns each year as we wine tour in Traverse City. We prefer to stay at the Hotel Frankfort.

This was our second visit, first was better and we won't be returning. We booked the room for an anniversary/spa getaway...loved the spa part. However, the bed was so soft we both arose each morning in pain. The air conditioning was terrible, it would not remove humidity and was very noisy causing us loss of sleep. Furnishings rather old and shabby. A great deal of noise transfer from adjacent room.

We stay here often for the convenience to downtown and that it is very quiet. Unfortunately, there were extremely loud guests that went on through the hallways and their rooms very late into the night.

The hotel is very historic and charming. The staff allowed me to check in a couple hours early which was nice. It’s right on the Main Street and a quick walk to all the shops and restaurants. The property is well maintained but there are floorboard creaks due to the age. Note that they don’t maintain front desk coverage 24/7 and you have to use a physical key to get inside after desk hours.

Loved the Up North room!! What amenities…sauna, hot tub, and balcony looking out on Frankfort!! Was there in early June so it was quiet and relaxing time…thanks so much for your hospitality!!

Room was nice. Older hotel but you can tell they are working hard to maintain it.
The bartender was not very friendly and seemed more interested in talking to the locals there v. taking care of us.

This is my hometown which I love dearly! I worked at this hotel as a waitress the summers before college wish I could move back. Still have many friends there. Love the historic charm, and kudos the the owners for all they do!!❤️❤️❤️
