This was a very cozy hotel with friendly staff. We also got a city guest card at arrival, and this gave us free use of public transport. The breakfast is also worth mentioning. Their breakfast buffet was excellent! Overall very satisfied, and I would definitely recommend staying at this hotel

Average stay facilities, no lift and no one to help in shifting luggage to 3 floor. Breakfast spread was good. Staff is nice Location is very good

Super convenient location less than a 10 min walk from the train & bus station and in the middle of restaurant & shopping options of all kind, from trachten to books! Large rooms and amazing shower, the property exceeded my expectations.

Right in the heart of everything: shopping and restaurants. Staff is encouraged to work on being more friendly and helpful. We enjoyed the room, comfortable and nicely decorated.

So disappointing!!! The superior room we booked appeared clean but once staying there was not. The linen and towels were so worn and thin and some had holes in them. The daily service was poor…just folded the doona and plumped up the pillows. The floors were cleaned once during our 5 night stay. The room was located outside the main building above a garage where people congregated to smoke. The stairs leading up to a landing with 3 rooms was so dangerous as steep and winding with no handrail…would not pass health and safety in Australia and there was always a smelly odour in the stairwell. On the positive the breakfast was fabulous and a nice variety. We ate one in the restaurant and it was quite nice too.

Well located, large room, very clean. Good restaurant in the hotel. Easy access to the castles from here. Close to the train station. Very walkable, lots of restaurants and shops in this area. Friendly staff. I would stay here again.

Very well located. Shops and restaurants all around. Nice breakfast 11EUR P/P, nice restaurant and very good room. Definitely a very charming option in Fussen. Parking in the back for a small fee.

Great hotel in a beautiful small town. Sadly, there IS NO ELEVATOR, which means taking all you heavy luggage upstairs.

Love everything about the hotel: location, quiet, cleanness spacious room, etc. except there is no lift. It is not a problem for us even though we stayed at 3rd floor. I would recommend staying this hotel when visiting Fussen.

I stayed here with my wife for a couple of nights while we did some hiking and swimming. Could not have asked for a better spot for the price point. The location, people, views, walkability of the town of Füssen was a 10. Füssen and hotel Ludwig’s by default, are prime locations if you aren’t itinerary style travelers. I say that because it could not be in a better location. Right on the main walkable street but still quiet and reserved. Just a couple positives that come to mind -secure Parking -easy check in -restaurant bar at the hotel and no less that 5 more within a rock throw of the street door. -clean modern rooms (with AC if that’s a must for you) - fantastic street views Really don’t have a single negative in my personal experience. Will undoubtedly be back, and soon.

Great property and great location. they sent me the directions to the parking lot. I followed them and got to the right spot. it is a gated parking in the back (obviously you pay for it) but at least it is available. there are no elevators. fyi - if you have lots of bags. but the room was decent. no AC. but there was a fan. location is the best - right in the heart of the market, shops bars restaurants. everything walkable. would deficinitely recommend staying here. we had dinner at the hotel restaurant, and got their fish which was local, it was very good.

Although the room was very clean, comfortable and nice, the entrance was near the garbage dumpster and the entrance to the room smelled.

Excellent location! Close to everywhere esp. to the Schlösser from the main train station。breakfast was excellent for 11 Euro。hotel has a restaurant too and our lunch was very tasty. The only 3 issues are. 1: no lift. You must carry your luggage to the 3rd floor or higher. 2. No A/C. There is a fan though, It rained at night so it was not hot in the room; 3. The room was tiny, hard to turn around for two people and getting things out of your suitcases. Instead the bathroom is spacious. If you do not mind these, that would be fine.

Location was perfect . Parking was a challenge ( the solution was found after several attempts and many talks with the staff and the manager ). Great breakfast was a welcoming bonus .

Excellent modern Hotel with great facilities and staff. Easy access to city centre by tram or pleasant 25 minute stroll along the river.

There are not a lot of updated/modern accommodations in Fussen, but this option will suffice. The rooms are a little outdated, but clean and large. We stayed in an area outside of the main hotel that had a garbage smell in the staircase that you had to walk up to get to the room. There is parking on-site. The hotel staff is helpful. The location of this hotel, though, cannot be beat. You are right in the central area of Fussen with all of the shopping and dining options and only a 10 min drive from the Castles.
