the hotel is beautiful, but the sound in the room from the upper and adjacent rooms was too much and disruptive. Every move and voices can be heard.

Stayed here a couple of times but was a bit disappointed this time around. Booked a suite thinking it would be more comfortable than the smaller rooms and I was wrong. The sheets and comforter had red stains on them, the table lamps were flimsy and wobbly and just out of style, the hand-held shower’s hose kept coming lose and spraying everywhere and the larger rain shower head above was all clogged up and leaky. Also water kept going from low pressure to high and the temperature from cold to boiling every couple of minutes. To make matters worse, the wifi does not properly work un the 4th floor where our room was. I don’t think I’ll be staying here my next time in GDL.

Property is nice overall. Arrival was not very well defined where to pull up and drop of luggage. Entering the hotel it's nice service is friendly. Entering the room nice however several lights were not working all the time. At one point the main ligjts would not turn on. Shower water pressure and temperature was not well regulated and fluctuations happened while showering. Shower had a nice rain shower head but it was pretty clogged. Washcloth had a big stain. Hand towles a bit tattered. Housekeeping knocked on the door at 9 am. Left a bag of trash on the desk and didnt replace the washcloths so there weren't any for the next day. Replaced the coffee pods but with decaf. Water was free but only 2 small bottles. Bed and bedding very nice and comfortable. The pool level is average and part of it was under construction. Restaurant furniture a bit worn and definitely not luxurious. Honestly for the price, there are better hotel options. Location is good but again there are other places close. The room was nice enough if not for the lighting issues, and the above mentioned things.

Property very quiet and excellent amenities. From bathroped and slippers to a regular size bottle of wine. Perfect for couples if you want relaxed atmosphere. Nice rooftop pool. Free ok..breakfast.

Although the hotel is nice, improvements can be done, lacking of maintenance .
The air conditioning was not working in my first room, the second room the safety box did not work
The only have a bank terminal to charge food or drinks( the restaurant in the 5th floor, the have to share it with the reception lobby on the first floor, so you have to wait till they send it.

I always love staying here. It’s so quiet. The beds are comfortable. The room is beautiful. The attached restaurant is good. There is a convenient store within walking distance and a delicious bakery as well.

When i checked in i was surprised that this was a 4 star hotel. I have stayed in motels that were in better repair than this place. Handles were falling off, lights didnt work, the breakfast was abysmal, they didnt change the sheets or replace coffee cups, they merely rinsed them and would place them back upside down. I used the shuttle service advertised by the hotel, which was advertised as 550 pesos. When i went to payz the dricer told me it was 600 pesos. Perhaps that should have been my first indication of what was to come. The overall feel was dingy and while some of the staff were indeed nice and helpful, many of my personal belongings went missing over the course of my stay. If you want to stay safe and leave with the items you came with, avoid this place. I would urge expedia to end its relationship with this "hotel" as it makes me not trust expedia either.

Everything was fine except for some staff and few issues with the hotel.
Some staff at the front desk were just not attentive, where as there were some great ones. Not the biggest issue.
The issues:
- There’s some bar or club in the lobby and the music is blasting, people singing that you can hear at night from your room
-The heat didn’t work, so it was freezing
-The restaurant was randomly closed at night, before their closing hours. The food was also not great
Overall, its was a place I could sleep at safety that was near the doctors office I was there for so it did the job

Some things that are out of the hotels control made it a poor stay. The weather was surprisingly awful, so no chance to use the pool, but the room was very cold so uncomfortable. Water was off in the morning, again not the hotels fault. It was very cold in the restaurant for breakfast & the breakfast was certainly nothing special. I’m sure with the usual Mexican Sun the stay would have been a lot better, the hotel is nice, but overall I felt that it wasn’t worth the price I paid.
