Lovely room and great location

Room and welcome fine, comfortable bed and enjoyable breakfast

Beautiful place, close to all the cities and towns in the Cotswolds. Very nice and friendly staff. Highly recommendable.

Ok experience, the room was a bit noisy and tired, didn’t eat in the hotel

Fab place to stay for a weekend in the Cotswolds. The staff were all brilliant and the food in the pub was delicious. We’ll stay again but would request one of the rooms down towards the river and seating area rather than in the building opposite the pub 😁

Liked all of the above but traffic noise unexpectedly intrusive. Would still book again.

Beautiful old pub. Lots of recently refurbished rooms all lovely. Sadly ours was in the older part of the hotel and although clean and tidy it wasn't as nice as the others. Overall, great location, wonderful staff and excellent food. Definitely worth the visit.

Really friendly staff. Efficient check in and very keen to help with my room request. Lovely garden on the river banks.

Very attentive owner and staff. Our room was of a good size and inviting. We would have no hesitation in staying here again.

The staff were all very helpful, especially Simon who helped us organize transportation. Food was wonderful, pub was great, and loved the outdoor seating. We ended up staying an extra night and highly recommend!

We stayed for a nearby Wedding but really enjoyed walking the morning after. A well kept, charming hotel in a really beautiful area.

We stayed in a stable room, which didn’t have a curtain covering the gap above the stable door so was an early wake up due to the sun blaring through, maybe this could be addressed. It was a very small room, having just about enough room to walk past the end of the bed, had to slide case along floor as otherwise needed to lift above the bed. A little pricey for the room, for the size of it, breakfast was good & evening meal.

Can’t fault the hotel in any way and the staff went above and beyond in their pursuit of making our stay truly enjoyable.

Rooms could do with a refresh. Bathrooms are dated. Instant coffee option is a pet hate and my room had limited natural light.

Great historic building - Food was absolutely fantastic. Stay was great - great value for money.

We spent a lovely evening in the restaurant (great food), and warm cosy bar. Lovely friendly staff. Clean comfy warm room. All very nice and value for money. Free parking at back of hotel. Lechlade is a lovely little town. The New Inn is the best pub in the town.

Lovely warm pub on the hight street in Lechlade. Food, menu and service in the pub was excellent.

Rooms was cold and could not set the heating.

The staff and atmosphere was really good, the promise of sky tv in the room was vastly exaggerated as only got two channels of free view, but the food was really nice

Comfortable bed, hot shower, clean room, free carpark, free Wi-Fi. Very nice breakfast.

Perfect for a quiet country holiday.

This hotel was booked in February for 2 night for my sons wedding . There are so many beautiful hotels in the Cotswolds but this is not one of them . We were shown a room across the yard in Apsley house - it was shabby tiny with single pillows old iron burn in the dirty carpet and we had to pass bundles of dirty laundry to reach it . It had one tiny skylight window a minute bathroom and no full length hanging . This was £120 ! I wouldn’t have paid £40 for it . The next room was slightly larger still no hanging and a charming view of a garage snd outside toilet . Finally we settled on a room in the main body of the building which was clean and had a reasonable bathroom . It was so tired and shabby though . The staircase to reach it was so old worn with greasy food smells as you climbed the staircase it were very unpleasant . What angered us so much was out the back were newly refurbished stables which were clean fresh and pleasant and unoccupied! We were not shown those . The room with the toll top bath wanted a further £12.50 a night charged even though the carpet in the room was stained and dirty . We did not have breakfast the dining room looked so dated and shabby we decided to go next door to the charming cafe . The only positive I can say was the beds were clean . As said there are beautiful hotels in the Cotswolds but this is not one of them .

Evening meal excellent breakfast is breakfast room was very dated which was a little disappointing for the price Bin in toilet was broken towel’s lovely £140 is too much for 1 night stay In this room £80 is more than enough Village was lovely and surrounding area

Great location to explore Cotswolds. Food was very good and beds comfortable.

Breakfasts and evening meals were fabulous. Room was disappointedly small and very hot even with a fan. Too hot to sleep well, avoid room 42. Housekeeping fail, room was not serviced and we had to ask for clean towels!
