Clean and spacious room. Had an amazing view overlooking the town and river. Check in was very quick and informative. Lovely location for the North west of Tasmania.

Quality accommodation. Easy to book in and beautiful views. Can't fault it.

We let us ourselves in to our room (one bedroom suite) and were visited by the resident cat which was very welcome. Soon after the owner came and gave us a run down of local information. There was a plentiful supply for our continental breakfast for two days and a wide range of kitchen gadgets. The view from the living room over the Duck River was great especially when the tide was in. The property is up a steep drive and a little away from the shops so not an easy walk. A good base for visiting Stanley (including the penguins coming ashore at night) and the Tarkine Drive (if time allows).

Quality accommodation, beautiful views

Very great spots with stunning views of Smithton and literally a home away from home. The hostess / owners of the property were lovely.

This was exactly what we needed after driving around Tasmania for a week and hiking over 70km. With A view of the water, a gas fireplace, very comfortable recliners and bed, this really was sheer pleasure. Heather and David were very friendly, and the welcome bottle of wine, cheese, crackers and sourdough was a very nice treat! The dehumidifier in the bathroom was nice so the place didn’t become muggy after a shower. Thank you!

We had a lovely two nights at Sheer Pleasure. The accommodation was clean and very comfortable. We could totally relax because we felt at home. There are lovely views across the Duck River and Smithton. Really though, it was Heather and David's warm welcome and attention to detail that made our stay so enjoyable. The bed was delightful, the towels luxurious. We would definitely stay here again.

Everything lovely, just what we needed for a quiet weekend

Everything in the apartment was top class, and good quality. Very clean and had a very warm feeling.

The property is perfectly positioned with views that go on for miles. Very quiet location. The facilities provided are top class and the added extras on arrival, wine & cheese board are a bonus.

It was comfortable

Stunning and private property. Heather and David were lovely and provided excellent customer service. We also enjoyed visits from their very friendly cat Thursday. Sheer Pleasure was sheer bliss

Met by hosts Heather and David. Glorious views from the balcony. Enjoyed cheese and biscuits sitting on the balcony, and a bottle of wine provided as well. They have made the unit very comfortable and inviting with all the little touches. The bed was very comfortable with lovely linen, as were the towels in the spacious bathroom. Easy parking up the top of the driveway.

Clean, comfortable and well appointed. The owners took the time to have the heating turned on prior to my arrival. The small touches like complimentary cheese, biscuits and wine were well appreciated

Accommodation and hosts was first class. Town is ideal location for access to local tourist attractions.

Hosts are friendly and welcoming and they are very generous with extras . Smithton is not much of a destination

The name says it all...sheer pleasure, a very comfortable stay . The only thing I was not happy with was the shower, there was not enough water pressure & it was hard to avoid the bathroom floor from getting wet. Other than that I would definitely recommend.We loved the scenic views from the balcony !

Didn't know what to expect when i booked Sheer Pleasure. We stayed 1 night and it was very nice. Easter eggs on arrival was a nice touch. Awesome view. Very friendly. Top spot.

Delightful place to relax and enjoy a bit of lovely seclusion

Modern, fairly luxurious/exclusive accommodation. Welcomed by David, a valued member of Smithton's council and Rotary Club. Great views over Smithton and Duck River. Fridge needs a re-gas as gurgles like a Middle Eastern Hookah - reported but not fixed. Supplies such as teabags, portion control jams / vegemite not replenished when room "serviced".
