Wonderful place to stay while touring Cádiz. Spacious comfortable room. Many homey local touches that are opposite of the cookie cutter hotels. Even the room doors are beautifully carved works of art. Great breakfast - not included but worth 10 Euros. Perfect location for sightseeing.

An excellent hotel, very well located. The double bed room with balcony was not large but very comfortable and very well decorated. The bathroom was spacious and comfortable. The breakfast was very good and plentiful. A special mention to all the staff, very kind, respectful, friendly people. The decoration in every space and corner of the hotel is very well maintained. Without a doubt, a small and very special hotel, highly recommended.

Our second stay here. Such a friendly, intimate hotel very handy for tourist attractions and wonderful tapas bars. Staff are so helpful and breakfast very good. Private underground parking opposite. Beware of occasional public drain cleaning in the middle of the night!

The hotel had a perfect location for travelers visiting the old town of Cadiz. The staff were very friendly and serviceminded. As the hotel is rather small it had a cosy atmosphere and the breakfast was a positive experience with freshly squeezed juice, fruit, cereals and bread with ham spread, cheese and cold cuts.

Lovely old hotel, tucked away ina backstreet, but close to the harbour and the main part of town. Beautifully presented. We were in junior suite, Zenobia. It was large, full of character, with four windows, including two small balconies. Very memorable.There is also a comfy roof terrace.
The downside? The air on unit was both too small to sufficiently cool the room, and it wasn’t as quiet as it should have been. Consequently, quality of sleep wasn’t good. If the windows were open, street noise disturbed sleep; if closed the room was too warm.

Beautiful property, great staff and convenient location. Walkable area and there’s a bus stop 1 minute away. The beds are okay and was a bit confusing to find the hotel’s street by car.

The hotel is extremely charming. It's an antique boutique hotel. It has many nostalgic relics throughout the property. Our room had a private balcony with comfortable hanging chairs to lounge in. The bed was a very comfortable king bed which was adjacent to a sitting area with a large leather couch and TV. The bathroom was very clean with a Jacuzzi tub, walking rain shower and dual sink area. The staff here were very accommodating, going out of their way to make sure you have a pleasant holiday. Will stay here again when in Cadiz :-)

This is an utterly charming hotel. Well appointed, tasteful, with a superb front desk staff and the comfiest beds in all of Spain (or at least in all the hotels and rental units I slept in in Spain!). I can't wait to go back to the Hotel Argantonio. The thoughtful details throughout and the truly amazing staff (I'm looking at you, Eva and Rosa!) made this an exceptional stay.

I had a great stay here during my visit to Cadiz. The staff were nice and helpful, my room was nice and comfortable. It’s centrally located and a short drive away from the beaches.

We loved everything about this hotel. The hotel features were very beatiful, charming, sticking to the old arabic style. Bed was very comfortable and we were impressed on how clean was the room, it was spotlessly clean. I didnt try the breakfast. The staff was incredibly helpful, attentive and friendly.
We went with a small dog and she was very welcomed in this hotel, our dog loved it!

Great location. Internal room I stayed in had no window, just one of those european light-wells from the roof.. s it was dark. On the upside it was very quiet. The hotel itself is sort of cute. Rooms are clean and basic. Staff was friendly and helpful. They rent bikes out for 10 euro day and you can cycle around town easily and along the coastal boardwalk.

A superb hotel within the old town. Aesthetics perfect with Andalucian decor. Only fault was breakfast very limited of choice,however, no shortage of excellent coffee. Staff were fantastic and extremely obliging.

We were in awe as soon as we walked into the hotel! The lady at the front desk was lovely. She helped with the area in deciding on a restaurant. Best choice - Balandro - DELICIOUS! The decor of the hotel is breathtaking! I would recommend this Hotel to anyone and everyone!

We had a very comfortable stay in this charming well located hotel. Staff were very welcoming & helpful. Enjoyed drinks on roof terrace. Didn’t have breakfast so can’t comment. If you’re looking for a big luxury hotel with pool, restaurants etc this is not for you. If you’re looking for character, charm, location & friendliness this is the one. Perfect for us!

Our stay was okay is what seemed like a classic traditional Spanish old hotel. While the place was clean and had some charm, the bed was not overly comfortable and there was no coffee maker in the room. I think we just appreciate the comforts of a larger hotel chain so this one didn’t meet our preferences

We loved this hotel. Authentic quaint homey hotel. From a glass of wine on the fourth floor terrace to the beautiful tile work in all of the rooms. If you’re not into the ultra minimal modern room this is the place for your stay. Public underground parking only a five minute walk. We would highly recommend this hotel for a Spanish feel experience with an excellent staff to make your visit more memorable.

My husband and I Loved Cadiz. It was a perfect location close to everything. They even had rental bikes right in the hotel. It was so much fun to ride bikes around.

This location is excellent! Walkable to everything and very safe. Staff were lovely and ready to help. It was also nice to know they were around 24/7 if necessary. The hotel itself is beautifully designed and tea candles are lit in the evening, which made for a cute vibe. Would recommend.

Hotel Argantonio is a charming place set in the Centre of Cádiz old town. It has a rustic old Spanish vibe with good amenities and friendly staff who speak good English. The bedroom and bathroom were comfortable and clean. The continental breakfast was excellent. The only downside to our stay was nighttime noise in the street below by refuse collectors at 3 am!
