Really clean and remodeled.

I will start by saying there are definitely worse places. This hotel is probably quite good for the area at this price point, though I've been told there are things one should expect in this region of Florida. Here's my honest review: while the space is adequate and there’s enough hot water in the shower, the kitchen supplies are minimal. There is visible mold on the curtains and, less concerningly, in the shower. To my surprise, the air conditioning vent smells like burning dust, and the filter looks like it has white paint or powder on it. The mattress is dented on one side, making it uncomfortable to sleep, though the sheets and pillows are of good quality. With two burners, no oven, and no toaster, the kitchen is insufficient for cooking. The place feels older and shabbier than expected. There’s no smart TV in this room, and no USB outlets; most will need to bring their own. Walking barefoot, the bottoms of my feet got black quickly, but I assume most people keep their shoes on. Light comes in through the windows, which lack blackout curtains, revealing a small neighborhood backyard. Even with a separate bedroom, the rooms aren't truly private due to windows cut into the wall for airflow. Overall, it’s not comfortable for a multi-night stay. While some may enjoy it, I wouldn’t choose to return. It’s adequate and not gross, but for a longer stay, I’d prefer to spend a bit more for more comfort.

Property was very clean

The place is a place to stay for a night if you are passing through Sarasota. It was the only place that had last minute availability, we chose it because it is 20 minutes from Siesta Beach. However, we found a cockroach in the refrigerator area... additionally, the bathtub seemed to be dirty. Anyway, you get what you pay for.

staff was RUDE! no one wants an unwelcome host when your checking into a hotel at midnight tired from a long flight. they were very disrespectful and gave away my room.

the property is good but is old

The hotel has old Florida charms, not necessarily in the best part of Sarasota. It's close to the airport. A bit dated exterior but inside is clean and sufficient for a quick stay.

Like the sign says, “Old Florida Style”. A fond reminder of traveling with my family as a kid.

I just wanna thank Tina shes very polite and professional and helped me with easy check in and extending my stay every time I come back my room is clean and smells good couldn't ask for a better stay

The room was dirty, specifically the restroom. There was hair on the floor and walls. The bathtub was stopped up and so was the sink.The place is very conveniently located near Siesta Key Beach. We only stayed one night. I don’t think I would do a longer stay. The staff was friendly.

This property is very clean and great location. The only downside is the front office personnel are not too friendly

The unit smelt like vinegar, and the couch wasn’t very clean. There was dog hair on the couch and I was in the room 20 minutes and seen a cockroach. Left room and sat in car while I contacted the staff. I was assured I would get a refund, that the refund was authorized and not contested, but was told that because I booked through Expedia I needed to initiate the refund through them. I initiated the refund and the property refuses to answer Expedia's calls or emails. They have yet to answer my either. They have a 20 hour window from Saturday afternoon to Sunday morning where they allow Expedia to contact them, one Expedia agent finally reached someone just to be hung up on. Deplorable customer service and service standards!

Stayed for a week and it was amazing!!

Renovated and clean.

The AC is very loud, the air it blows out has a moldy smell. Sofa is dirty.

I liked that it had its living and kitchen area separate from the bedroom

Stayed in 3 rooms for the family on our trip. Two of the showers did not work properly and we had to use the one. The room keys keep getting erased for some reason. Luckily the office was open each time. Management did not seem like they cared at all! Told about the issue no fix no communication nothing. You get what you pay for I guess. Never staying here again.

The staff are professional, personable, and freindly. They made every effort to make my stay pleasant. They wirked with me to extend my stay and to allow me to keep the same room as convenience.
