Beautiful hotel, staff were great

Located in peaceful Ixia, just next to restaurants, super market and bars. Bus stop is also just at the corner. Pool area with three pools (one for kids) was great. We stayed in family room, which was clean and in good condition. Kitchen, living room and bedroom with terrace made living easy with a child. Aircondition worked perfectly. Staff worked hard and they all were very friendly. Live music and small gym surprised us positively. Buffet meals were ok, but quite similar day after another. Recommended!

We stayed here for two weeks. The room was dirty upon arrival, and the "daily cleaning" is a joke. There is no daily cleaning. We asked for cleaning and new towels in the reception several times and I had to really raise my voice to make them take anything seriously. The pool area is also very dirty and wasn't cleaned during our stay.
We also asked for the shower head to be adjusted on our first day as it was stuck in the lower position. Also asked for a kettle. We were promised it would be fixed asap, but it never happened during our stay despite us repeatedly asking for it.
The whole place seems understaffed and very poorly managed.

We were very disappointed with this hotel and checked out after one night instead of 5. Our room had several maintenance issues, was very dated, not as per pictures on website. The room was also not very clean. We tried to resolve with staff unsuccessfully. Receptionist Martha was helpful but other staff member very rude, un helpful, extremely poor customer service. Overall I highly recommend not booking this hotel if planning to book family room.

Rented an apartment.
Good: Ok standard, nice balcony with sea view, pool area is nice, good breakfast buffet, friendly staff.
Not so good: Beds are ”greek style” hard beds, especially the bedsofas, we shopped food to make dinner but there where no kitchen equipment so it was impossible and the hotel could not solve it until next day... Pool can be crowded as also other hotels e.g Filmar use it to. Only one roll of toilet paper per day for a family apartment and no cleaning gear for kitchen, this may be according to rules but It should cost the hotel only a Euro or two to fix this and add a lot of service for guests, bad service. At checkout they kept our passports (and we also forgot them) and had to go back later.

Like a lot of things, but on sunday no room service and on monday, before the check out we ask for a clean towel, to take a shower before the fligth and they said we can not !!!
We dont ask the moon only a simple towel...
Oh and the internet connexion is a crap

Super clean, large rooms, great breakfast. Couldn’t fault the place at all. It was a great price and i couldn’t believe how much better it was than I expected.

Had a great 10 days at the Sunny days hotel, the staff were excellent from the start. From checking in to checking out, the room wad very clean and we had an amazing balcony, free air conditioning was a bonus, fridge in the room so we could store water and soft drinks, couldnt fault anything about this hotel, Ted the guest relations person was amazing always spoke to you and had a laugh with You, the breakfast crew were great to would recomend this hotel to friends 10 out of 10, if you dont fancy the pool the beach is a 10 min walk, good location .supermarket ,restraunts abd shops 1 min walk from hotel entrance.

Modern hotel with hip pool area and rocking music. Appartment was excellent, overlooking the pool super powerful shower and modern fittings. Bed was a bit hard for my comfort. Wifi nedium speed and free. Breakfast buffet ok but limited.choice.

Good size room, but would've preferred to have a room at the back of the hotel as the street was quite noisy. Pool and bar area have recently been refurbished, rooms are dated but comfortable. Hotel and bar staff were very friendly and helpful. Only a 10 min taxi journey to Rhodes town where there is lots more to see and do, but there is a strip of restaurants and bars right outside the hotel if you want to stay local. Would definitely stay again.

The hotel apartment room was basic however, very spacious, light and airy. OK the kitchenette was a bit past it and the bathroom taps could do with changing, but it was fab. Great to have somewhere to make a cuppa, stock up on cold drinks and keep a few munchies available - who would want to cook? The resort has loads of inexpensive Tavernas with excellent food. The apartment was clean, well furnished, lovely long balcony and surprisingly private. It was a short cab ride from the airport and even shorter to travel into Rhodes Town. The beach was immediately opposite and around the pool there was always available loungers with the bar very handy. If you are looking for somewhere to hang your hat and save the finances for other activities Sunny Days is ideal. It had a small number of apartments and a mixed array of international guests, very suited to the traveller on a budget who is not looking for a wild nightlife - there are other resorts for that. Ixia was small and very family friendly. The only slightly annoying feature was the over loud pop music played from around 11.am till midnight around the pool - If this is going to drive you to distraction ask for a room at the back of the hotel or take wax ear plugs.
