All of the Palmetto staff are excellent. Our taxi took us to the wrong hotel and the staff member was able to get us a taxi to the right hotel. At the hotel, the receptionists were cordial and helpful. When we needed a taxi, they ordered one for us and showed us how to get them. The hotel was clean and the breakfast was delicious. We would definitely stay here again just for the service alone.

Our stay was okay until staff mishandled our clothes and failed to return them in due time, causing us to leave to another country without clothes because they never returned it (laundry service). Staff apologized and promised to mail it back to the US at no guaranteed time.

The hotel is not situated in a high end neighborhood but a decent place. Hotel itself was very clean, good staff, great breakfast. Room service was limited due to Covid but overall I will give it a solid 8 out of 10

Our stay at Palmetto was brief but good we felt accommodated and the place was clean and decent. We needed a place to sleep and regroup for a few hours before heading back to the airport but I wouldn't have used it as my base for Lima. The neighborhood was sketchy at best but it was what we needed at the time.

There room was dim and smelt damp. There was no bathroom mat so the floor got wet.

I had a few family members visiting and I was told by the lady at the front desk that they had to leave the room. They was just visiting because we did not see each other for a long time and it really made me feel embarrassed to tell them that they could not be in the room just for a nice conversation

The hotel did not have internet. Our hotel room smelled like dirty feet. There was visable powder under the bed, possible to mask the smell of the room.

It was a good stay for layover. To have shower and rest after long flights.

Nice hotel for the price, close to the airport, It was better than expected, the only drawback was that can be noisy in the evening, however with earplugs I fixed the problem.

It was a basic room but the only window was into a central stairwell. You couldn’t open the drape without everyone looking in. I asked about a shuttle but was quoted a cost of 15 soles higher than a taxi. They have a restaurant on the 4th floor but we could not find any staff in sight to wait on us or a menu, so we left. The bed was comfy and it was just OK for an overnight for an early flight out in the AM

Hotel is located right off a busy road and the noises are loud. Also noises from inside the hotel can be heard inside the room too.

The hotel was nice. It was about 15 minutes from the airport. The room was large. Definitely a good deal for the price.

I was visiting family in Mirones Bajo, Lima so this location seen to be great. unfortunately, this location seem a little iffy and after staying there for 4 nights with my family (3 yrs old and 11 yrs) it was not pleasant at all .During my stay , people in the hallway were a bit too loud which was a bit inconsiderate since it was after 1 am . But the most disturbing was the loud moaning and groaning . The walls were not sound proof so to avoid having to explain to my kids the noise I just left the tv on . There is no safe in the bedroom as the website advertises . And the extra drinks in the mini bar .i was told at the front desk it was included with my stay but during check out I was charged for it . If I would have known I would have bought from the outside stores at cheaper prices . Overrall I will not come back nor recommend family with kids this location .

Overall, we had a pretty good experience. It was late when we got to Lima and we accidentally got dropped off at the wrong hotel (the palmetto down the road). The folks at the other hotel helped us negotiate a taxi over to the correct hotel and the staff at Palmetto la Perla checked us in right away. The hotel itself is fairly old, but in decently clean condition. Unfortunately there was no air conditioning in our room and no fan. We opened the window but it was onto a courtyard so there wasn't much airflow.

Was great for a one night stopover. Nearby the airport without being too close. Mini fridge stocked with cold beverages. Comfy bed. Aircon. Shower with hot water and an elevator. We splurged on the jetted tub suite and I was so worth it before entering a day of small planes and such. Not alot of English, but we didn't come for that , so it was okay.

We stayed overnight enroute to Cusco. The room was clean, front desk staff were helpful. The breakfast menu was limited. Unfortunately, the hotel was filled with high school soccer teams, both mail & female, so it was quite nosy.

We had an early flight so we moved from Miraflores to this hotel for one night. We were pleasantly surprised by how nice and modern the room looked when we checked in. But the restaurant on the 6th floor was underwhelming. The kicker: I have travelled and stayed in thousands of hotel nights around the world. And this was the 2nd noisiest hotel I have ever stayed at in my life. Heavy truck traffic roaring down the busy road outside all night long, aircraft taking off directly overhead - my wife and I slept a total of zero hours, and we were using earplugs. So - nice property, nice room - terrible noise.

CON: - staffs have limited English for communication. - room newly renovated but still smell old furniture - window has no lock, people from the hallway can climb in - water stream in the shower is very weak and cold - fee too high from hotel to airport. - hallway light is always off to save cost. - look like unsafe area to walk at night PRO - due to a very early flight, hotel chef was kind enough to provide us with a carry on breakfast bag consisting of a large ham and cheese sandwhich, a small apple and a bottle of water. - room temperature is comfortable (16/09/2016). - hope on a public red bus, abancay, to playa del armas for 1.5 sole per person when taking taxi back to hotel cost is 35 sole.

The hotel itself was good. We were lead to believe that it was close to the airport, but it was a 15 min or more taxi drive. We were lead to believe that there was a shuttle, but shuttle must mean something else in Peru - we had to get a taxi.
