My husband I stayed for two nights and it will be the last time. The lobby is great however beyond that is a different story. We arrived in the room and there was “what appeared to be “Cheerio’s along the base of the bureau, light bulbs were missing, and some other guest belongings in the closet. When I went to wipe water off the floor in the bathroom, the towel was brown. The first night the fire alarm went off at 12:30am. The 2nd night we came back from dinner and upon entering the lobby, a very potent stench of what I believe was marijuana permeated the lobby area. The staff were very nice upon check in and out. Didn’t have much interaction with them. I normally don’t write reviews however for the price you are paying, I would have expected the room to clean.

The location in town and close to Town Beach and the seawall is ideal, also the sunrise deck is amazing! When in the hotel the heated pool is excellent but they advertise a hot tub. It has been out of service since 2023. If a hot tub is not an option that is OK to take it off the list of amentities.

Staff was very friendly (and funny too). Quick check in. Rooms are very clean and well appointed. I had a room with a comfortable bed and water view. The hotel has a moist smell to it - totally expected when staying across the street from the beach. My one recommendation would to be to look at an alternate cleaning product. The smell was strong - almost appearing to be heavily used to block the moisture scent. Some balance would be good - especially for those with allergies. Overall really enjoyed my stay and will book here again.

We love this place because it is across the street from an excellent beach. We have stayed there two or three times, but this time the place was not as well maintained. They were really short staffed. The pool was weirdly hot; the hallways smelled funny, and we could only get our room made up if we requested it. The location is still awesome.

Room was updated and clean-balcony no furniture and very small-busy roads - Across from beach which was excellent and amenities were great in room.

Building need of repairs and upkeep. Staff was friendly

The property is in nice location, priced nice, but may need updating there was a smell that was in the hallway and room that was somewhat potent.

The location was nice, the facility rooms need some updating as the Carpets appear very old. We did not have much interaction with staff as they were only at the front desk, but the interaction did happen was pleasant.

The property is in a great location if you love the beach. For what we paid off season, it was fine. If I had to pay full season price, I would have been disappointed in the overall quality- it just needs some updating and refreshing. The shower curtain rod was loose, a few dings in the walls in various spots, etc. The bed was comfortable and the a/c was quiet.

The hotel is in a great location, but it needs a lot of TLC.

The hotel was in a fabulous location and walkable to shops and restaurants. The staff was very accommodating and friendly and the Common spaces and rooms very clean, neat and tidy. Unfortunately their restaurant was not an operation at this time, as it is going through a renovation. I enjoyed my stay and would certainly stay there again hopefully the restaurant will be open by then to offer room service.

Overall good stay. Only complaint was a musty smell when first entering room. I think it might be the carpet. We aired it out each time we entered room. Everything else was great.

Location is outstanding. The property itself is in desperate need of renovation. Tore foot open on loose nails on sundeck. Smell of old wet rugs need replacing immediately. If it weren’t for the location I would give it a one star. Very expensive for what is offered. They should atleast offer beach badges to make up for other non existent amenities and poor condition.

Location was perfect! We had dinner and breakfast right near by. Location perfect for a beach day.

Overpriced for what it’s! You are definitely paying for location. First room we were offered - for close to $400/ night - felt like a cave. Long, skinny room with a tiny window hidden at the far end, not providing any light. To the hotel’s credit they changed our room.

The water in the pool was FREEZING! They had a working pool heater ( i looked in the mechanical room and saw the power on but no gas to the heater. I spoke w/ several other guests stayi g there multiple days and they complained of the sane thing!

Great location right across from Narragansett beach. Room was clean, but furnishings were very sparce. The walls were thin and you could hear entire conversations from neighboring rooms. Everytime a door closed down the halllway the sound echoed in the room. The staff was friendly. Not a must stay, but pleasant enough for a beach weekend.

The bathroom had hair in the shower when we arrived.

Wonderful customer service!

The location was perfect, the ladies at the front desk were unfriendly and short and to the point. My family and I spent our three days at The Town beach and one day in Block Island. When arriving late in the evening, back in our room to take showers, the water was luke warm to cool. All four of us were unable to remove sunscreen and sand from our bodies. The front desk said, that normally happens and there was nothing they could do. However, the beds were very comfortable and we all slept well.

Carpeting in room was dirty, elevator ready to die, inferred “restaurants “, had none. Windows in hallway left open with no screens or AC. Observation deck decaying and not maintained, pool and pool area so unappealing NO body was using the pool. Old and outdated, the only saving grace is the location. Help was nice enough but we got there at 2:05pm and were told check in was at 3:00pm. Kinda of rude. AC in room only worked if you used the giant hair clip provided to scrunch up the curtains so they didn’t block the airflow.This place could be so much better.

Location is excellent

The cleaning crew is amazing. Rooms were clean and organized daily. Asked for an extra pillow first night/ they couldn’t find one. 2nd night- room had pregnant woman, mother and infant, and 71 yr old- all three of us in bed falling asleep and a knock on the door at 9:30. Two young workers- who asked for our last name- Said we weren’t supposed to be there- asked us to step out - had uniforms but no id - all three of us were skeptical and scared/nervous - one of us went down stairs to figure things out with Expedia proof we booked the room. Unsettled the rest of the night. Baby crying. Manager apologized- but just don’t know why knocks were at the door at 9:30 pm and no phone call To the room or my cell. Next day asked to talk to the manager twice. Both times she had stepped out. Talked once on her cell- offered free nights- but asked for money back instead for the last night. Promised she’d get back. Never did.after 2 weeks of calling/ manager said she’d call back in 20 minutes -‘literally promised and never called back. One member of our room said she was gonna call 911- because “staff” were unrelenting in asking us for our info - again- no ID or phone call- one of the workers had her purse on still- which didn’t seem right. You stay at a hotel to sleep and feel safe- both of which we weee unable to do the third night. Whole thing unprofessional- never happened in our life! Disappointed- as we’ve been loyal patrons but just don’t feel safe or valuable to manger

Perfect location- walking distance to Narragansett Beach, several restaurants, ice cream, coffee, and shops. Coffee, tea and microwave available in the lobby; keurig and fridge in the room. Hotel deck with beautiful views and comfortable room. Though there is a pool and hot tub, it's cleanliness is questionable, and there are hotel areas that look worn. Overall, however, I will return time and again as the location and room are what I am looking for!

Room had dirty towels and floor upon our arrival. They eventually changed us to another room. Second time staying here and second time incurring a problem. Would not recommend

Could walk to three or four places to eat and the shops right behind the Hotel are our favorites
