The gardeners cottage was a small cozy retreat which suited my short stay in the area.

We very much enjoyed our stay in the Tocal Suite, a queen bedroom with adjoining quirky lounge area (old library), modern bathroom and external access. The grounds are extensive and beautiful so we strolled around them in the afternoon before heading to Maitland city centre for dinner (a 20 minute walk, no hills). The rooms were decorated beautifully with lots of old books and the bed was comfortable. Our only issues were a sticky spot on the rug in the lounge and the coffee pod machine didn't work properly but still enjoyed our stay

What a delight! We had such a restful sleep and the surrounding gardens were a joy. Morning coffee on the terrace was a peaceful way to start the day.

It was a pleasent stay , friendly service, very clean , comfortable and beautiful gardens, would stay their again .

A very enjoyable visit to the Gardeners Cottage in the Regents Park. Small cosy accommodation overlooking the gorgeous walled swimming pool. The 5 acres of garden are absolutely beautiful.

Very good setting comfortable everything worked well but too many internal cobwebs on windows inside, outside and ceilings.

Just stayed the one night on a business trip. Beautiful cottage and wonderful peaceful garden to walk through. No front desk but just took a phone call to access through a security code. The complimentary water, snacks a nice added touch. Even had a coffee machine. Will have no hesitation in staying again. Very comfortable.

The tenants who living at the front mansion seems having fun even after hour, I was woken up in the middle of the night by splashing of water and their music, I was unhappy.

We were here for a wedding and it was a perfect retreat, peaceful, quiet, with absolutely wonderful gardens, swimming pool, extraordinary rooms and many, many books and an endless supply of Nespresso. What is not to like? (Answer: my husband wanted more coat hangers in our room!) :-)

Quaint house , needs more window coverage to block out early morning light and sensor light . However still if you bring all of the food , the room has fridge .

The Regents Park is a beautiful old manor house and was a pleasure to stay in. I stayed in the Tocal Suite which includes the original library as a sitting room full of floor to ceiling bookcases and antique furnishings. The suite was completely private and the room very comfortable. Do make time to wander through the remarkable old world garden as it is truly spectacular. Clint was a wonderful host and I hope I have the opportunity to stay again when I am next in the area.

WE stayed in this historic property. They offer rooms in the old mansion and a self contained gardener cottage. we stayed in the cottage. It included a kitchenette, fridge, sink etc. A good cont. Breakfast is offered with homemade jams, breads, milk, etc. Also fruits and juices, and bars, The grounds are being restored to their former grandeur. An in ground swimming pool is just outside the French doors. The wine area of Hunter valley is 25 minutes drive. The hotel will set up all kinds of tours. # pubs a walk away. A friendly place!

I had to checkin quite late, having landed in Sydney Airport on Monday evening. Received a phone call with clear instructions on what to do when I arrive. The room was spacious, with free Wi-Fi and a impressive clean looking bathroom. I didn't have a chance to help myself to a cup of tea or coffee, but all the necessary accessories were there. Will go back again if I have to travel to the Maitland area again!

We had this beautiful property to ourselves which was a wonderful surprise. Will definately return here and stay longer.
