We enjoyed our stay at La Cabriere country house in Franschhoek. The staff were very friendly and the owner was very helpful and lovely as well. The property was stunning, with 2 different pools and lots of areas to sit outside. Breakfast was delicious. The room was cozy and had mostly everything we needed. Location was wonderful, very safe, only a short distance to the main town and so many amazing vineyards nearby. It felt like a private holiday for us as not many guests were there due to the recent floods in Sept (impacted us not having heating for the first night or wifi). Overall great place to stay, highly recommend!

We absolutely loved our stay here. The property is conveniently located for everything Franschhoek has to offer and Lisa was great in providing recommendations for the local area. The rooms are beautiful and spotless and the views are absolutely spectacular. Cannot say a bad word about our stay.

Absolutely stunning, amazing, beautiful. Lisa, Kenny and the whole staff where superb, welcoming, kind, forthcoming and inviting. The housing is excellent, so comfortable, clean and in a picture perfect location. There is absolutely nothing to not love about it. Honestly, if you don’t like something, that’s on you!

This is a really lovely hotel just on the outskirts of Franschhoek. Set in beautiful gardens with two very inviting swimming pools. Very peaceful and very civilised.

Lovely little gem with a nice private patio and two shared pools.

We had an amazing stay from impeccable big rooms, with views of the mountains. So quiet and peaceful making for the perfect getaway. Very close to the town with all the restaurants. The owner was very attentive and checked in with us every morning. Definitely recommend as the perfect stay in Franschhoek.

The pictures don't do this place justice. The views are incredible and very inch of this place was stunning. There are all these little tables around the grounds people can and enjoy a bottle of wine. It's really close to town which made our time in Franschhoek even better to be able to easily walk there. The people who run the place are so kind and helpful and went above and beyond to meet our needs.

Located a 10-min walk to the centre of Franschhoek, with fantastic views and well maintained gardens, Two small pools, which are more than necessary with plenty of sunbeds. Bedrooms vary, we stayed in the Garden view room, which was pleasantly decorated but the bathroom only had the one basin and was two small for two people. Sadly the breakfast was a little disappointing, service was good but options varied very little each morning and not a great choice on the buffet. Staff were very accommodating when we asked for a late checkout, but don't hang any washing out on your terrace as you will be 'told off!'

This is a stunning place to stay. You could just sit and stare all day. Choice of pools, very comfortable room. We stayed two nights and a third would have been the icing on the cake. A 15 min stroll into town. We got ubers easily for dinners. We plan to return (like a lot of the other guests we met).

We loved our stay at la Cabriere. The breakfast, the views and the service were all faultless and we felt so relaxed. The afternoon cake and coffee went down a treat too. We will 100% be back and would also recommend La Cabriere to everyone !

Huge suite and beautiful views over the mountains - at the peaceful end of Franschoek.

Great location close to the town center but a bit away such that you feel a part of the country side. Lucy and Lisa were very helpful and friendly. It was approximately 10 mins walk to the center of the town. At night it is recommended to hire a taxi which is always approximately 10 mins away. Any restaurant will call after your meal.

Beautiful, quiet hotel just five minutes walk from the town. Staff were professional and discreet.

Wish we had stayed for more than two nights, La Cabriere is a wonderful place to stay - room was comfortable and tastefully decorated, the gardens were beautiful and breakfast delicious. The staff were also great. We cannot recommend it highly enough. We hope to be back soon.

We were given a warm welcome on arrival even though we were a bit early and only had to wait 5mins before we could settle in. The room although not large had ample storage and a lovely patio overlooking the gardens and mountains beyond. The bathroom was modern and clean with a large shower. My only grumble and this is a personal choice one is that the bed was very firm and the pillows too, but this is being very picky. All the staff were lovely and always gave us a warm welcome at breakfast which was served outside if the weather allowed. The food was fresh and tasty along with a hot breakfast on offer too, also available in the afternoon was tea, coffee and cake which was a nice surprise.

Fantastic hotel and what a lovely location. Great welcome with free welcome half bottle of champagne ready on ice. Each afternoon they offer free tea and cske which is a nice touch. Can also walk into Franschoek safely. Great place and would definitely recommend staying there.
