I booked the suite for one night. It was bad experience from as soon as I checked in. The person who came to drop off key was unfriendly stranger who did not know English. When I ask her any question she simply said no English. The bed sheets had holes and it was faded in color. The other suites were empty. It says central location and close to everything, when in fact it is quite the opposite. It is in remote area next to chicken farm and a small church. The road turns into non paved road which is very narrow and can accommodate only small car. There is no room to turn around or even reverse properly to give way to upcoming car. I ended up getting another hotel because it was really remote, almost spooky , and just not convenient to go in and out to drive in and out. I asked the lady for refund as I had informed her night before that I moved out and not coming to stay in the spooky hotel, she responded by saying no English.

Katerina was a wonderful hostess! She was always accessible via text messages and happy to make dinner reservations, car rental or transfer reservations and to give advice on what to do while on Santorini. The Lagadi Suites apartment was very nice and comfortable. It appears to have been newly updated. Fresh bread was delivered every morning. One thing to note - Lagadi Suites is not walking distance to Fira or Oia. It is located down a narrow road and best accessible from the top of the hill on the west side of the island. I recommend renting a car for your stay on Santorini. It is not too expensive and they will drop the car off anywhere you would like to pick it up. (Airport, sea port, apartment) It will also allow you to see more of the island. To save money on transfers, I recommend renting a car and picking it up when you arrive at the airport or port. Then when you leave you can drop it back off wherever you depart from. The port can get crowded and traffic can be backed up on the one narrow road that goes there, so give yourself extra time. Check out the open air theater or a cooking class with George at Petra Kouzina (a highlight of our trip). Overall, a fabulous stay at Lagadi and on Santorini! A gorgeous island!

Perfect in Everyway Absolutely enjoyed every moment of our stay, the host and staff went out of their way to ensure we felt at home. And we did. The apartment was beautiful and the location was central with good amenities close by. Highly recommend this place.

Property is located in Thirassia where the locals live. The contact nr previously posted was wrong. I had also emailed the owners in Aug 11 with no response though the messages appeared as “Read” through the Expedia app. We finally got a call back from the owner on the day of our arrival, after my many written messages. I was told to put the taxi driver on the phone so the owner of the property could explain how to get there as there was no address other than to note the village it was in. The driver dropped us off in front of an old school. We then waited 10 - 15 mins in scorching heat. Finally the owner’s husband arrived. We walked another 10 mins to get to the house, carrying all our luggage. When we got there, the building was pretty small with old amenities, hair on the sink and rusted bathroom water heater. The owner’s husband asked how we planned to get around, noting that “taxis are expensive and not always available.” We figured we would rent a car. While we were there a lady opened the door and walked in. It was strange to see someone walk in who had no business being there. The owner’s husband then said he would come back later. Soon after he left my minor child got a major stomach ache. We tried to use our phones to call the owner to see if we could get someone to drive us to a doctor, only to find out there was zero reception at the house. My all walked in scorching heat getting into a can 45 mins later and got a different hotel losing all the money we had paid.

When you stay here you have a whole little house all to yourself. Charming local building style with bedroom, kitchen, bathroom, and living area. Outside you have a seating area, table with umbrella, and a private hot tub.

Lagadi is an amazing alternative to the crowded centers of Thira and Oia. Katerina was very helpful and provided excellent assistance in arranging transfers and making recommendations about activities and restaurants. The suites were large, beautiful, and the fresh bread and other amenities every day were a great addition. The location is in a more residential area which will mean that you will have to walk a bit to get a taxi or other transportation. However, if you make arrangements in advance through the suites that minor inconvenience is minimized. We had a great stay.

There was absolutely nothing to dislike. A great location if you do not want to be in the tourist crowd. Peaceful and quiet. Our host Katrina was fantastic as soon as we booked she was helping with everything. My and my mrs would recommend this especially to couples and people who do not like the tourist crowded places which is Oie.

We stayed for a week in Lagadi Suites in mid September. We wanted to stay in quality accommodation and we got exactly that! A modern villa with minimalist design and the perfect base for our stay. Well located just a short drive from Fira and close to the airport (but no noise). The assistance from the manager Marina was just fantastic - at every opportunity keen to help to ensure we enjoyed our stay. A relaxing break in a perfect setting.

This villa was a perfect haven for relaxation and well located base to explore the delights of Santorini. Being located in a central area of the island, it made it easy to hire vehicles (in our case, ATVs), with it only being a short and enjoyable ride to both the north and south sides of the island. The villa itself is reasonably spacious for 2 - 3 people, with the outdoor spa and area great for relaxing in the sun after a day exploring. The host is friendly, helpful, and extremely attentive to your every need - would stay again, without a doubt.

Lagadi Suites is a excellent hotel for a couple!! Marina is an amazing host. She was super responsive and gave us her number to contact her anytime with any issues. This hotel is great if you want to getaway from the touristy area of Santorini. Marina was able to help us get an atv and we were able to use the atv to get us all around Santorini. I really recommend this hotel as it is not only very clean but the host/service is just amazing!!! The hotel gives you fresh bread in the morning as well as replenishes beverages, fruits, and jam.

Perfect Mediterannean experience - the hostess (Marina) was so helpful. She helped us plan our entire stay on the island, from the ATV rental to dinner reservations to suggestions on all the best spots to visit. The villa was clean and meticulously well-maintained, and was right in the middle of the island - an easy ride north or south. A 5-minute walk brought us to the small town where there was a market, cafe and a few restaurants. The town is not a tourist hot-spot, so prices were very reasonable. The cafe has a delicious greek salad for 5 euros that was big enough for both me and my husband for lunch. I highly recommend a stay at Lagadi Suites for anyone who wants to experience Santorini. Thanks for so many great memories!

Lagadi suites are one of the best places I have stayed. The place is super clean. The personal hot tub makes it so worth it. The host, Marina, is super attentive to your needs and can help shape your vacation run smoothly. It is a 5-10 mins drive from Fira which is the capital. I would definitely stay here again.

I can honestly say, Lagadi Suites is a beautiful place. From start to finish, the communication between owners was brilliant and we had the pleasure of meeting the wonderful Mariana on arrival. When we were lost she came to our rescue, she presented us with drinks on arrival, fresh fruit and a stocked fridge. Every morning fresh bread was delivered and Mariana was so knowledgeable about the island. We were told of the best places for food and drink, all of which were fantastic recommendations. To make the most of our trip we did hire a car which was well worth it as we were looking at wedding venues. Nothing was too much trouble and we all loved Mariana - we will be back when I get married next year! Great accommodation, finished to a high standard and completely spotless!

Nice villa tucked away in a quieter corner of the village. Easy walk to th Center and access to buses etc. Property itself was clean and very comfortable. Daily supplies refreshed. The host Marina was very helpful right from checkin, organising tours and smooth checkout with good local knowledge. Overall a great experience.

Amazing suite. Marina was a great hostess. The entire suite, jacuzzi, porch was breathtaking. The only tricky part is finding the place. The GPS just kept sending us in circles. We finally called Marina from the gym on the main road and she came and helped us to the suites. Watch for the d in Lagadi. Greeks sound it as a v instead of d. So no one could tell us where Lagadi was because we should have pronounced it as Lagavi... :-)

We had an amazing time at Lagadi. Loves the jacuzzi, patio and outdoor balcony. It’s super relaxing the moment I stepped into the hotel. Reliable pick up services by Mr Antonis, greeted by the warm and friendly Marina. Nice tips on exploring Santorini by Marina. Marina introduced ouzo to us, my brother ended up drinking it everyday. Cleanliness is not an issue as there’s a cleaning team that tidy n clean the jacuzzi on daily basis. Surrounding is quiet, suitable for those who prefer serenity, but is a short ride away from all the actions. You can do some simply cooking if you miss home cooking. Overall I would said Lagadi is a hidden gem that’s not to be missed.

Such a wonderful place, as clean, tidy, comfortable as the pictures. It's better than any other hotel we've stayed in Santorini. The host prepared everything well. I'll recommend to those visitors who want to stay in Fira: you won't be disappointed!

Lagadi is an oasis and Messaria was the perfect place to explore the rest of the island. The suite was beautiful - so clean, modern and comfortable. The hot tub, the fresh sheets and towels and the Greek breakfast every morning made us feel very spoilt. Our hostess Agathe made the trip for us - organising a boat and sight seeing trip for us and always making sure we had everything we needed. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend a trip to Lagadi.

When we arrived Agatha was fantastic and so helpful with places to visit and anything we needed at anytime was catered for. The suite was exceptional

The place is beautiful with a huge comfortable bed which never normally happens on holiday I normally return with backache! The place is spotless the staff come daily to clean and to re stock your fridge with ham cheese bread water and juice. Agathe is very friendly and knowledgeable regarding the island. Loved the outside facilities with the Jacuzzi and loungers very private. Its situated in the middle of the island so everywhere is reachable easily.

An amazing exoerience at the Lagadi suites. Agatha and her husband made us feel so welcomed and took very good care of us. The apartments are awesome and have all the facilities. Agatha guided us very well in terms of exploring Santorini in fact she gave us a lift to Fira herself. Really recommend it for anyone who wants a special exoerience in Santorini. More importantly travelling as two girls from England, me and my friend felt very safe which is crucial. Lovely experience, thanks Lagadi suites and thanks Agatha !!
