Amazing

Great seri d very nice rooms

It was awesome. I got a little worried when read other reviews. It was nice and cool in our room, the bed was soft. The clerk at the front desk was very nice and helpful, especially knowing the layout of the rooms. Our only concern were the lights. Every once in a while the lights and tv would go out and come back on. We let the front desk know about the issue. Hopefully the can find and fix the issue. When first told they were willing to move us, but we were getting ready for bed and weren’t willing to change rooms at that hour. I would definitely stay here again. We recently drove to NY from TX it’s unbelievable how much we paid for rooms on the road that weren’t as nice as this was and cost was far more than what we paid for this room.

This is my account of the hotel, good and bad. Before arriving, I attempted to call the hotel directly and it was difficult to speak to a person. It rang and rang 20 times with no answer or voicemail. I would reach someone 1 out of 5 times I called. When someone answered, they were extremely kind and helpful. I want to mention Holly, especially. Walking in, the hotel looks new and aesthetically pleasing. Same for the rooms. The first room didn't have a working mini fridge, so we were given a different room. A few downers were the towels not being soft and we saw 3 roaches in the room. Like yikes! The shower door wouldn't stay closed. It was off-balanced. The free breakfast was the standard make your waffle and mediocre options I wouldn't pay money for. I ate at a diner 2000 feet away, the next day. They have 6 restaurants in walking distance which was so nice for dinner and an extensive breakfast. The bar was not open, as far as I could see. The TV was on, but the bar was used to hold Amazon packages. The gym was enough. I went once, and it was one other person there, so one broken treadmill is no big deal. The vinyl floor in the gym needs to be replaced. We enjoyed the swimming pool. The water was room temp. Check out was literally 60 seconds. It was a good place, but I don't do roaches.

Property was in great shape. Well kept...the breakfast was amazing..so many options...i will definitely come back

The hotel was convenient to the highways to get around but the pool was very small my refrigerator in the my room did not work I thought my room was going to be cleaned it was not the room attendant only pulled up the blanket I had to go every day to get clean towels and wash cloths The breakfast was okay the fruit was not fresh every day and water was only given out in a dispenser that was on the front desk I had no clue as to when and how long it was in the dispenser the equipment in the gym was broken I know every hotel is different but usually I have been given bottles of water when I have stayed abroad or not to have water in a dispenser and it not be cold in Texas is ludicrous and to have a pool outside in Texas is ludicrous to me it was 100 degrees if I wanted hot water to swim in I could have taken a hot shower or bath Really

The hotel was nice, clean, and safe. The staff was super nice, friendly, and helpful. Unfortunately all of the lounge chairs by the pool are all broken.

The AC in the room did not work correctly. The 6 did not get below 75

My Room was hot for both nights we stayed. Spoke with the front desk person, she couldn’t move us due to the hotel was fully booked. I wouldn’t stay her again even if it was the last place to stay. Only one elevator was working. My bathroom door was off track the wall in our room was peeling. It’s so much more I can type here, but I won’t just don’t waste your time.

The rooms are spacious with a pull-out couch sleeper. The staff is friendly. The rooms are very clean. I stayed for 1 week and I enjoyed every minute of it.

Just ok ( not good not bad)

I had been at the hotel with a very similar hotel with the same name. I wanted to book one more night and because of the name I chose this one by accident. First off the area is in a loud and busy area of town. Secondly, the outside landscape and lawn have not been mowed or cared for in a long time. Mosquito heaven. Third. When you walk in the smell of mold is evident. After I checked in and was waiting for the elevator, I saw it. Black mold on the wall up by the ceiling. The room was clean. Thankfully I didn't smell any mold there or I would have had to leave due to my allergies. Some of the lights flickered at times and would go on and off. Because of how the bathroom was configured, there is no room for a toilet paper holder so the roll just sits on the counter. The walls are super thin. So thin that I could hear evertime the neighbor got a text and I woke up to him having a long conversation with someone. At checkout time I waited for a long time because there was no one at the desk. The moldy smell was being covered by some candle or room freshener scent.One of the housekeepers saw me and went and got the front desk clerk. When she arrived she quickly checked me out. I suspect the property had been damaged from the last hurricane and was still in recovery mode. I definitely wouldn't stay here again.

Came in from out of town . When was checking i was told wasnt ac working properly but floor i was in was okay . Well room was muggy and wasnt cooling. Wish i was told earlier to where i could've found something elsewhere. Ive never had problems there before till this time . und something elsewhere

Manager went over and beyond to make sure stay was comfortable. Very friendly and super helpful

The hotel is very nice, the staff was very friendly, and the property is located within walking distance of several restaurants. Conveniently located next to the freeway for easy access to shopping options.

Nice place

When we arrived, it took us an 1hour to get checked in. The A/C did not cool the room, it was hot. They also didn't have sheets, blanket or pillow for sofa bed. Staff was rude and seemed overwhelmed. I do not recommend this hotel. There are better options in the area.

Good location Lots of restaurants nearby Carpets were stained ( appeared to be blood stains). No remedy from hotel. Toilet lid was loose ( not repaired) Free breakfast had limited supplies Staff shortage excuse was provided

I live in Houston and we had hurricane Beryl come through on Monday July 8. We had widespread power outages so I searched for a hotel and found the Hyatt Place Houston Northwest. It was easy to book and check in was easy as well. I was very pleased with the overall stay. The only two things that I would’ve changed were I didn’t feel like their room temperature was as cool as it said on the thermostat so there were times it seemed a little muggy in the room and there was some mold on the ceiling in the bathroom, which I did let the front desk know when I checked out. I would stay at the hotel again and I would recommend it.

I made the reservation on Monday afternoon. When I got to the property the location had no power and was shutdown because of the hurrican They sa I d I would receive a refund. I have yet to be refunded
