No room service

The property – rooms, based on my experience, is treated with TGLC (Tender Guest Loving Care) and the staff is accommodating and friendly. If lucky, you will be greeted by Alex or Kim at check-in, welcoming, kind and amazing individuals. The rooms with a view of the Mohawk River are spectacular - recommended. A spoiler alert, no coffee machine, or microwave in the rooms (there is a mini refrigerator), however, Starbucks introduced itself to this hotel recently allowing guests to not have to go through security to enter the casino to procure a cup of morning energy – coffee. There’s a marina – not large, however, beautiful and in a short walking distance of the hotel with an opportunity to take a boat to travel along the Mohawk River for two hours at a cost of approximately $55 per person. And, consider yourself lucky if you get George on the phone to ask questions about the “cruise.” Haven’t done the ride, but on my bucket list. This review is to express, from my experience, the worth of a stay at The Landing Hotel, a beautiful property I believe any guest will go home delighting in the wonderful memories from discovering – finding a peaceful place to work, wind down, read, write or just sit, watch and let the river guide us through our journey. All is possible at The Landing Hotel.

Front desk was super friendly. Rooms were nice and clean. Casino was well kept. Lots to do.

I came to Schenectady to scatter my partner’s ashes and distribute her clothes. Everyone at the front desk was very accommodating. Alex at the front desk brought 10 bags of clothes to my room and unloaded them in my room. I walk with a cane and this would have been a difficult chore for me. The next day Alex reloaded them into my car for donation. The atmosphere was well-appointed and the room was comfortable.

Our room was very nice and clean but very disappointed that I had to drive to nearest gas station just to buy a Coke. I don’t drink or like Pepsi but that was all that was sold. Why can’t you stock and sell both? Not everybody drinks Pepsi

Excellent room in a very nice, clean hotel. Check-in process was very pleasant - kudos to the cheery receptionist!

Very clean. Beautiful hotel. Pillows were not comfortable. That’s the only complaint. We will return.

Convenient to downtown and a beautiful place to stay for good food and music.

Just ok. Service was good, but we have a view of the parking lot and the hotel was very empty. Gym was basic. The Starbucks was good.

Nice room but paid extra for river view and got a blocked view in rm 303…also no coffee in room or in hotel forces people to go to Starbucks

Stopped at this hotel to break up drive to Cape Cod from Ontario,Canada. If you like a little gambling and a nice steak at Dukes this is the place to book.

Casino

The only negative was the bathroom in the room. The shower had no door so water splashed onto the bathroom floor. The sliding door was shared between the bathroom and the closet. When the bathroom was closed, the closet was opened, and vice-versa.

This trip was all about location and comfort

Great stay!

Very nice hotel for the price! Hotel was very clean, lobby and lounging areas were spacious and nicely decorated. Staff is super friendly, especially the security guys at the casino entrance. Room overlooking the river with the king bed was kind of small, but the bed was very comfortable and the room very clean. Only complaint and it seems a lot of hotels do this now, is the sliding barn door for the bathroom (no privacy!) and the weird glass half wall in the shower, which lets a lot of water onto the floor. I would definitely stay here again if I ever need to come back to this area.

Great clean casino hotel with excellent staff from check in to maids to security to casino staff and the Starbucks people were great as well. Will be back next year for DMB SPAC weekend. Kudos to everyone.

Nice resort

Great price and building 4-star hotel for Casino

Clean room. We'll equipped. Temp was turned down to 63 degrees, so freezing. I had to adjust. Speaks to poor eco friendliness though. Also sheets were micro fiber rather than cotton, so not breathable at all and again, not eco friendly. Towels were frayed but otherwise in good condition. Maybe that's the style?

Very nice Hotel

We love the rooms & accommodations. However, there are no microwaves in the rooms, so we had to go to the lobby to use the public microwaves. We do not gamble so never went into the casino; nor did we go to breakfast.
