The beach is secluded. So secluded it almost feels like its private. The staff is small and very attentive to the customers needs. I would have liked to have had the option to taste more local cuisines.

Excellent Excellent property and staff were amazing!!! The food omg delicious so we're the cocktails. The restaurants on site were all fabulous except for the sushi restaurant upstairs. Would definitely not recommend as their are both AC in restaurant and extremely hot.

Front Desk Assistance: The front desk was often unhelpful, and responses to requests made via WhatsApp were significantly delayed, averaging 45 minutes, with some inquiries going unanswered. Food Service Delays: Our lunch orders consistently took over an hour to arrive, even when other guests who ordered after us were served first. Additionally, several food items were out of stock at each dinner service, and we experienced long waits and cold food. Pool Noise: The pool area was extremely loud, and the staff did nothing to address the disruptive behavior of other guests, which forced us to leave the area multiple days. The noise was also audible from our room. We even had someone yelling outside our balcony and I had to ask them to leave since it took the staff 20 minutes to respond to our complaint. Room Amenities and Maintenance: Our room lacked basic amenities such as towels and robes, and the hot water was unavailable on one of the days and even when it was fixed it was only luke warm at best. Housekeeping services were also delayed until late in the day, which was inconvenient, often coming after we had gotten back to the room after being gone all day. I even explicitly asked the desk if they could come sooner. Power Outages: The power went out multiple times each day with no backup power or lighting, significantly affecting our comfort and safety. There were no emergency lights in the room so when the power went out and I got up I slipped and fell due to not being able

The property is aesthetically pleasing but needs some work. There are mold spots growing on the wall and ceiling of certain areas. It would definitely feel more comfortable if the rooms were pristine but they can use some overall shining up. The shower is impractical and leaks all over the floor. The food was really good and available. The staff are very friendly but are a little slow so just be patient and they’ll get what you need. There are limited restaurants and no type of entertainment on the resort besides the lone singer in the main restaurant. Room service is limited so you’d have stock your room with what you need before 10pm. It’s a natural element with the full beauty of Costa Rica for a relaxing experience. Fair warning that there are a plethora of insects and they are relentless. Pack lots of repellant. To enjoy entertainment you do have to leave the resort but the area is pretty safe. We used Guancaste travel for a good price and they were very reliable. Overall I enjoyed my stay in this quaint resort for the price but it could use a few updates.

I booked a room with the pool view and they placed me in a honeymoon suite, and the bed had a happy Birthday set up on the bed. The room I originally booked cost more than the honeymoon and they did not credit or refund the difference.

Wendy was such a great help in this resort. She made us feel sure about our excursions. The food at the restaurant was so good! We the Asian one was the least favorite but the other ones were fantastic!! If you want to have a nice, calm vacation this is the place to be. It’s one of the most beautiful resorts I’ve been to.

We stayed here for 3 nights and it was a waste of time and money. The staff was horrible! We saw the same 5 people ‘working’ everyday and they were never doing anything. They were so rude and not helpful at all! We had to get up and ask for everything at every meal and at the pool! No one served! We were asked if we wanted coffee for the first time on our last breakfast! We had to get up and ask for everything at the other 2 breakfasts. Even water!! Horrible!! There’s no pool wait service and the bars and pool restaurant are supposed to open at 10:30 but that never happened. They would stroll over there around 10:30/11 and set up. But the drinks were awful!!!! The liquor is weak and I’m pretty sure it’s half water. Disgusting! They have no idea what they are doing at the hotel. The staff act like they are there on vacation and how dare you ask to be waited on!! We ordered food poolside at 10:40 am and at 11:20 I asked about it. It never came out in and he didn’t care at all! We had to go on our excursion hungry. The food is ok. Definitely not worth the all inclusive price. We went to Gustos beach in town 2/3 days we were there! The service, food, atmosphere there was amazing! Thank goodness! It may have saved our whole experience in Samara! I would never return to this hotel and I would NEVER recommend this hotel to anyone. I’m so happy we checked out and went to another hotel. The service there was amazing! Please take my advice DON’T GO HERE! Awful everything! It was clean

Our stay was absolutely amazing. The accommodations were great and the staff is excellent. While everyone there was very helpful, nice, and great I want to recognize some that went above and beyond for us. Yudith is AMAZING!! I cannot say enough great things about her. Eden, Danny & Kendal were outstanding as well. You are very fortunate to have such a wonderful group of staff. They are extremely hard working, smiling all the time, very kind and helpful. They are a huge reason our stay was so wonderful.

The property itself was beautiful but the service did not live up to expectations of a resort. No hot water for 2 days in one of our rooms. We could not get fresh towels and had no wash clothes for 2 days. The sheets smelled bad but were changed once mentioned to staff. Pool bartenders were excellent especially Alejandro. He was the best of the entire trip.

It was very nice, but be aware that there is a $200 fee when you check in for incidentals. The grounds are beautiful and the staff is friendly, ask questions because information is not volunteered!

Very beautiful and quiet. Not a lot of people during the June time but the food here is amazing. However, it is far from other tourist attractions & beaches. I would recommend renting a car.

My wife and I had an amazing stay with our friends at the resort. The place is stunning, and I spent a lot of time capturing its beauty in photos. The entire staff were exceptionally friendly, efficient, and accommodating. The ambiance throughout the resort was genuinely inviting. We came to relax, and Azura made that possible. We look forward to returning soon.

This resort was amazing the staff was very attentive and helped us with any issues we had. One of my friends that was in my travel group their room had some water leakage and the resort got that situated quickly and got them a new room. The restaurants were all diverse and had great options. This resort isn't near a lot of things so if you're looking for nightlife and partying this isn't the place! It's very relaxing and a great place to unwind and relax

Quiet, beautiful, and friendly staff. Dining locations need fans or air conditioning. No evening entertainment except for live singer at bar. Needs casino, comedy, or other options. Left one day early and resort didn’t offer to refund

Very beautiful place. Highly recommended. Staff is very helpful and nice. Restaurants are good too. Theres an event planner on site every day through their vendors, and local businesses offer plenty other things out on the beach right outside. Only critiques would be no hot water in showers and rooms are not weatherproof so they remain humid no matter the temperature. WiFi in rooms is basically non existent (but out in common areas it’s fine, and you don’t go to Costa Rica for WiFi).

If you’re looking for an all inclusive and would like to stay on the property, lounge in the pool, and on the beach. This is a great property to book. However, if you want to explore the local town, do activities, and leave the property, there are much better options. The aesthetic of the hotel is beautiful and we loved how friendly everyone was, but the cleanliness (dirty towels, floors, and sheets) left something to be desired. Food options were just “ok” if you’re looking for authentic Costa Rican cuisine, you won’t find that here. My partner unfortunately found hair in her chicken tenders and I experienced an upset stomach. All in all - $2000 USD for 4 nights isn’t cheap and we’d wish we had spent the money elsewhere.
