Nice newly renovated cottage right across the street from Lido Beach. Overall the house was great aside from two problems that property management had no urgency to fix: 1. The smoke detector went off intermittently about two or three times a day for up to a minute before it would turn itself off. I immediately informed property management and they sent over someone who was very nice, but not qualified to fix the problem. The second time it happened they sent the same person over with the same result. The third time which was now going on one and a half weeks into our stay, I had to insist before they sent an outside vendor qualified to fix the issue. Fortunately, it was finally fixed, but that was after almost 2 weeks of dealing with the fire alarm going off. This really would not have been a big problem had the property manager believed me rather than saying this had never been a problem in the past, insinuating that I was somehow responsible (there was zero smoke in the house each time). 2. The wifi did not work in the back (master) bedroom nor on the back deck. Again, when I reported this, the property manager indicated that the previous guest had not complained, indicating that it must be my mistake. They finally sent me a Wi-Fi range extender after I made this request. However, the Wi-Fi range extender happened to be defective and they ignored me when I let them know. Fortunately, the Wi-Fi worked fine in the main part of the house.

The home was just recently updated, spacious, and less than a 5 min walk to the beach. Also, the owners/management were responsive with any requests we had during our stay. Great home for a family vacation!
