I had a wonderful stay at Chez Daniel! The room was clean and spacious, and beautifully decorated and furnished with Mayan artisan-woven bedding and gorgeous photos. The staff there were very responsive over WhatsApp when I inquired about shuttles and tours. The breakfast included is delicious - fresh, ripe fruits and warm croissants and baguette. There were two days where I got up very early in the morning for tours, and they offered to make me a breakfast to-go - which was delicious and perfect snacks while on my tour for the day. All in all, Chez Daniel was great. Well priced, beautiful clean rooms, great service.

Came in late on short notice after an unexpectedly chaotic day and the owners quickly disarmed us with their charm. Beautiful property, great night's sleep.

Un lugar muy recomendado, con habitaciones amplias, parqueo interno y un baño enorme, la atención de inicio a fin fue espectacular, vero nos explicó todo muy bien y nos dieron un desayuno aparte de delicioso fue muy detallista, sin duda regresaría al lugar

Mi esposo y yo nos quedamos por una noche y fue una buena experiencia. Veronica fue muy atenta con nosotros desde un principio. El cuarto muy limpio y el desyuno expectacular.

We really enjoyed our stay here and would highly recommend. The communication and assistance provided by the manager was really helpful, our room was very comfortable with an amazing volcano view to greet us every morning, and having use of the clean kitchen was great. Each room also had amazing photography taken by the owner on the walls. The manager was also very accommodative of us when we wanted to leave a bag there while we went on an overnight hike. The only point I could add for improvement was the breakfast which, while nicely presented, for us, wasn’t sufficient. Overall, enjoyed our stay very much in this immaculately clean and well located guesthouse.

This property was clean and room was large. I liked hugh bathroom and comfort. and mostly Veronica the owner who wnt out of her way for me from start to finish.Nothing this kind lady wouldnt do to assure my stay was the best.Also like the airy garden on premises to relax in a shady area. Let me not forget the charming waitresses serving a wonderful french breakfast! Croissants melting in buttery goodness and fresh fruit well arranged on my plate. I highly recommend Chez Daniel in Antigua.Try and see for yourself!.

Great place with a good view of the volcanoes was amazing to watch one of them (fuego ) regularly shoot out jets of smoke and ash. Lovely big rooms, gorgeous breakfast and really friendly and helpful staff. Easy walk to the main centre and lots of restaurants.

Wow! What a fantastic stay we had. Daniel was very informative and helpful, and just great to talk to. The continental breakfast every morning was a great touch. The room was spacious and impeccably clean. The bed was very comfortable. It felt so safe and quiet.

I was originally supposed to stay at Chez Daniel for two nights, but travel interruptions meant I got to stay here even longer. The property is beautiful, quiet, and serene, with a lovely garden area and a clear view of two volcanoes. The rooms are beautiful and comfortable, the staff is incredibly friendly, and the breakfasts often the best part of my day. I can't recommend this spot enough! The perfect place to stay in Antigua where you are close enough to walk right to the center yet stay in an oasis of calm!

Quiet and central location, friendly and helpful staff, comfortable room & bed, complete and roomy bathroom. Walkable to restaurants, commerce, shopping, churches and much history.

We stayed for 3 days and the rooms were large and very comfortable, the most comfortable beds ever. It is a B&B and the staff not always there in the afternoon but easy to reach with phone call and accommodating for all needs. Daniel the owner wonderful for conversation and recommendations to local restaurants and activities. Breakfast served every morning with wonderful croissants and fresh fruit or alternatives if desired. Private parking, kitchen and refrigerator available for use as needed. We would stay there again.

Chez Daniel is a small oasis in the midst of a busy town. Daniel and Veronica were warm, attentive, welcoming and informative. Staying there was a highlight of our brief visit to Antigua.
