Friendly & helpful staff.

No WiFi in the rooms,only ground floor. Good choice for breakfast but food lukewarm or cold.Needed to ask for a blanket as cold in bed. Not a brilliant location.

The cleaners stealing chocolate from my room each morning so had to stop the cleaners from coming in as need sugar as diabetic

the hotel is dated, it needs modernising, I could hear the lifts going up & down all night, the floor tiles in our room were coming up, need replacing, very old fashioned decor, you could hear all the noise coming from the corridors

The hotel is extremely dated and in need of refurbishment. It's a shame the opportunity to do this wasn't taken during lockdown. No USB ports....old telephone sockets that nobody uses anymore. Plates in the restaurant were put to one side as they were not clean. Food could have been a lot hotter. Very noisy guests - lots of young sports groups. Needs more staff on the bar area as the one person working was on the terrace moving furniture and wiping down tables when people were waiting to be served.

Very good stay, comfortable rooms and very helpful staff. Also, a big plus point, we couldn't hear anything from the rooms either side.
