Reception and bar staff were very friendly but the staff serving breakfast the next day were all miserable and unhelpful. Room was a good size and very comfortable. Area around very welcoming

Good value, but rooms really need some attention. Clean though, and the superking bed was massive. Nice view over the putting green. Breakfast was excellent in a lovely room, and the service from the woman at breakfast was faultless.

My sister in law and I really enjoyed our stay here. The staff were all extremely friendly especially Keeley who went above and beyond to ensure that we were provided with all we needed as my sister in law was recovering from knee surgery. The hotel is very quiet and relaxing with lovely views and plenty of spaces to sit outside. The rooms were rather tired but very clean and comfortable. Although the standard rooms are stated as being on the ground floor, they are not accessible as the building is built into a hill so in theory you enter on the 1st floor and go downstairs to the ground floor The breakfast was nice with a good cook to order selection. Service was rather on the slow side possibly because golfers were often being served in the bar at the same time. Other thing to note Expedia state checkout is 11am when in fact it is 10am. All in all my sister in law and I had a lovely relaxing time here and would definitely return again. We highly recommend this lovely gem of a place.

Nice hotel. Staff very good. Wifi very bad or non existant. Food good but breakfast very slow. Would be better having a buffet style instead of individual service. Area around good for a walk.

We enjoyed our stay at Thorpeness Golf Club and Hotel. Room was light and airy and restaurant food was excellent. Breakfast was very good too. Location was lovely right on the lake with excellent walks all around.

Enjoyed our stay, our double room in the Braid Lodge was perfect for us with views down the golf course. Staff were very attentive and helpful

We had a lovely stay. Hotel was clean and staff helpful. Breakfast was superb and the staff really worked hard and nothing was too much trouble. Would definitely return expecially at the price we paid. It was a real bargain

Room very tired ( needs decorating) bathroom basic . No privacy as on ground floor with French Windows and no nets/blinds. Bed comfortable and very clean bedding. Breakfast very good

I love that you can walk to the beach or in the wooded area. Breakfast was excellent in particular the poached eggs - amazing.

It's the perfect spot for us but it does need a bit of a refresh now. The bathrooms in particular need a bit of an overhaul and the bedrooms need sockets near the dressers

Room was very comfortable. Only issues were a blocked bath and not being able to park in the car park
