Great relaxing location with friendly staff. Will definitely plan on returning with family. Jr. suite was very spacious with a patio facing the ocean and easy access to the beach.

The location is great and view of the beach is excellent. The furniture, carpets, and bathrooms are old and smell like pets. Some of the furniture feels dirty. The small kitchen was great with basic tools. The accessibility to the beach is great. This is our first stay here so I’m not sure if I would come back due to the smell and the furniture. Our room had two full baths which would be nice if we had more than two people. The bed in the bedroom was creaky so that disrupted our sleep. The carpet is damaged in multiple places. The tv was small but had Samsung TV available. One bathroom looks like it has extensive water damage in the past. We were on the bottom floor with the patio and beach access which we liked. We could hear guests above us and outside but it wasn’t disruptive.

We decided at the last minute to go to the coast & I found our lodging via Hotels.com at Rockaway Beach Resort. The condo-type room was beautiful and had an ocean view. We enjoyed our stay immensely.

Great location, gorgeous sunsets, noise insulation with the constant wind blowing from the ocean and dampening everything with its hum and moisture. Hotel has a swimming pool, which is OK. There's a coffee/espresso place right across the street, and a selection of restaurants/bars and grocery stores within a minute drive. The room was clean and spacious, we didn't need anything, all was good. Thanks!

The only thing somewhat negative is that it's an older beachfront property with carpet that's seen better days. Everything else very clean and comfortable. Kitchen well stocked. Front office personnel amazing. No elevator that we're aware of. OCEAN VIEW &ACCESS FANTASTIC.

Can’t beat the location! Beautiful sights and beach to walk for miles. Room is a great size and balcony overlooks the beach and ocean.

Loved this place. We had a junior suite with separate bedroom, 2 full baths so our teenager could have own bathroom. It's dated as far as furnishings go, but so what! It was a huge condo with huge kitchen counter, fully stocked with basic needs (glasses, utensils, cookware). Check in/out was super easy and the ladies at check in were super friendly. I love that they have boardgames and DVD movies to rent. The pool and hot tub were great. The nearby town had this Mexican Restaurant, El Trio Loco III....it was really good. It was sad leaving this place....it was a nice/comfortable room with comfy bedding and gorgeous view. If we ever pass through again, I will definitely stay here again.

Labor Day weekend in Rockaway Beach was a party! There was an alt band playing across the street when we arrived. Great fun! Spacious accommodations!

Great view, fun pool for my kids, extra sand toys for my kids were there, beautiful beach. Grill was nice to have but wasn’t heating up great but other than that excellent stay we want to come back!

The employees working there were very friendly. The hotel had a balcony facing the ocean with a beautiful view of the ocean. Rooms were clean (except some stains on the living room carpet) and everything was kept very organized. It also has a pool. The downside is that it was pricy for not having breakfast included and any locks on the doors to lock the rooms from the inside. The main door entering the room did not have any lock or a door chain lock. The sliding door that opens to the balcony had a broken lock. The only way to keep that sliding door closed is by pulling down the sliding door security bar. Also no one followed up with me after I was told that when the maintenance person comes in, they will check and see which door has locks that work and a chain link, and will let me know so I can change rooms.

We loved the beach access and how close it was to our room. The room was clean and comfortable with a wonderful view. I was disappointed there was no elevator.

First time here and we had a great time. While the property is old, the rooms were a bit outdated and worn but was clean. Beds were comfortable. There are no elevator on the property and each building is about 3 stories long with stairs. We had an amazing beach view. Our balcony faced the ocean and it was so nice to listen to the waves at night and see it during the day. My kids loved the beach and the resort had beach access. There was even beach toys left by others. We don’t get to use to pool as we went to the beach everyday. There are some decent restaurants but we did a lot of cooking ourselves. The town itself is very small but quiet and peaceful. Would definitely visit again.

The property and rooms are rundown and shabby. The furniture is old and the sofa and carpet are stained and dirty. The only positive feature is that it is on the beach.
They ran out of parking spots early and the staff were very rude to us when we tried to park. I would not recommend this property, nor would I stay here again.

Excellent location, wonderful views, great staff, super clean. Would recommend some uodating as that would make the stay more comfortable. Wo uld also recommend only allowing families with small children to stay on main floor as it was very loud with small children running overhead at all hours.

This was a gem of a stay. We were 6 staying in a Family condo - which had one bedroom and two baths. Interiors though a little old, we're having all the necessary items. Including a full fledged kitchen. Very pleasantly surprised. Bedrooms and bathrooms were clean, today and very functional.The oceanfront views were breathtaking . Sunsets from the balcony were worth waiting for. Beach was just few steps away. Very clean as well. Swimming pool, spa and sauna were great. Well maintained and had a lot of swim toys for kids. Office staff was wonderful and always ready to help. Would have been great if there were good food options around.

They flew a German flag the whole time we were staying as they asked where we were from when we checked in. The staff was super-friendly and we met other guests who have been coming for years.

Patio Mesh had holes but when they replaced with another mesh that didn't work well with closure and opening.
No AC and room was super hot when we checked in
No elevator for older people as the room was in 3rd floor.
Sofa bed was inconvenient.
Some odor that was not pleasant. Not sure if carpet or something else.

Dream location on the ocean, my kids were blown away that we could wake up to ocean views and loved late night swims. Great restaurants nearby and beach campfires are allowed! Rooms were clean but a bit outdated, but were great value!

The bathroom was clean, front desk staff very nice, and it was directly on the beach. That's really the only nice things to say. Couch and chairs had so many deep stains that we put sheets over them before we sat on them. Dark hair in the sheets when we pulled back the covers. Thin carpet had a large tear and was stained in places. Thinnest possible towels, no inner liner for shower so it clung to you, dish washing liquid was either watered down or so cheap it ran like water. No decor except very outdated pictures on walls, some crooked. No lock on front door except the one you used the key for; no lock on the sliding glass door or screen at all - just a wobbly stick. Very outdated and run down. Would not recommend at all. We definitely will not return.

The property is not the newer resort buildings in the area but makes up for it for being quiet and clean. It has a small functional kitchenette that is useful if you are staying for few days. The property’s beach access is in between the two buildings which is very nice. All units have beach view which is wonderful. Easy acces to the main road to go north or south of the pacific coast.

Right on the beach with sliding glass door access and beautiful views. Very roomy with 3 beds and a small usable kitchen, table and chairs. A bit out-dated but everything worked properly and plenty of clean towels and linens. Super helpful friendly staff. We will be back!!

We had electrical problems the whole time we were there. The lights kept flashing on/off, then we would lose power, we lost lights that didn’t work and plug ins that didn't work. No accommodations were made for this.

The property was better than our expectation. Our room has 1 small bedroom and a huge living area that has a queen-size murphy bed and a sofa bed, and also a dining table. The room is very clean, which is the most important thing we're looking for in a hotel. The balcony is facing the ocean which is very nice. The only downsize I can think of is that they don't seem to have enough parking space for all guests. In addition, there's no elevator, so if you happen to have room on 2nd or 3rd floor, this might not work for you if you have mobility issue.

We had an incredible time this week and will absolutely be making this a yearly trip. We had a beautiful ocean view, the beach was right at our steps and the condo had everything we needed to cook our own meals. The office staff is so friendly and the entire area was well maintained and quiet even though there were lots of families with kids, including ours. 10/10.
