Stylish and cosy cottage in the centre of Mousehole close to the harbour
Das Courtyard ist ein stilvolles Refugium für zwei, wenige Minuten vom schönen Hafen von Mousehole entfernt. Dieses komplett renovierte ehemalige Fischerhaus wurde mit einer Mischung aus modernen und Vintage-Funden mit einigen antiken Schätzen erstaunlich eingerichtet. Das dezente gedämpfte Dekor schafft eine entspannte Atmosphäre, während der Fokus auf unaufdringlichem Luxus liegt. Im geräumigen Badezimmer gibt es eine tiefe Roll-Top-Badewanne, separate Power-Dusche, Fußbodenheizung und viele dicke, flauschige, weiße Handtücher. Das Schlafzimmer verfügt über ein Kingsize-Bett, Bettwäsche der Marke White Company, einen antiken Kronleuchter und einen geräumigen Kleiderschrank mit Bügeleisen / Bügelbrett und viel Platz zum Aufhängen. Die Küche ist mit einer Nespresso-Kaffeemaschine, einer Kaffeemaschine, Dualit- und Neff-Geräten, einem Induktionskochfeld und einem Herd, einem Kühlschrank, einem Geschirrspüler und einer Waschmaschine ausgestattet. Es gibt auch einen Esstisch für zwei Personen. Die Lounge ist mit sorgfältig ausgewählten Stücken wie einem großen Spiegel aus Frankreich, einem Vintage Club Ledersessel, einem neuen bequemen Sofa und einem gemütlichen Holzofen für kühle Nächte ausgestattet. Außerhalb des hübschen, mit Pflanzen bepflanzten Innenhofs ist der perfekte Ort für einen Morgenkaffee oder für ein Glas etwas gekühltes, wenn die Sonne untergeht.

Absolutely wonderful! Lovely little row house literally a couple dozen steps from the shops and harbour. Clean, stylishly appointed (loved the Anglepoise lamp). Big bathroom, comfy bed, perfect for a couples stay! Mousehole is a great little village, a much nicer vibe than St. Ives or Penzance. If you’re going drive in from Penzance along the Cliff Rd, the other approach is TIGHT. Get parked in the town lot and leave your car, take the Mousehole bus to Penzance and the Coaster to travel around the area.

This property exceeded our expectations! Angela is an excellent host and The Courtyard is a delightful property. We enjoyed walks in the village each morning as well as accessibility to everything nearby. The cottage is warm, inviting, and beautifully decorated. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay!

One of the nicest private rentals we've ever stayed! Modern, clean, and updated but with an absolute sense of place. When I visit a unique area I want the place I sleep to reflect that but also have modern convenience. This hit all the marks. Angela was very responsive and easy to communicate with. The tub was welcome after our long hike as was the washer. Ideally located right in the village which made it easy to pop in/out. Bed wasn't great for us but none of the mattresses on this trip were. We're very spoiled in the US with our sleep number bed :-) Highly recommend staying here. We can't wait to visit this property again.

Everything was lovely, perfect location, Angela’s recommendations for F&B were great! My only suggestion would be to perhaps add a “cocktail/coffee” table in the lounge area for those of us who need somewhere to put all our “stuff”. 😊

Loved the cozy cottage! Bathroom and bedroom much larger than they appear. Everything you need is there. Short walk to bus stop, deli, harbor. Many places to eat, but most close by 4 pm. The steps to bed/bath, are steep, something to keep in mind after all the hiking around town. ;) The seagulls are loud, so bring earplugs for a good nights sleep in the comfy bed. Penzance train station is a 16 min bus ride away. I walked back from Penzance after a shopping trip. It was a leisurely 1 hour and 15 minutes. You walk through Newlyn, which has many seafood shops, and of course a few Pubs.
Angela is a Gracious Hostess, who responds to you quickly, if you have any questions. Loved my time in Cornwall.

The cottage looks exactly like the pictures. Angela was extremely helpful, responding promptly to queries and going out of her way to help us when we had difficulty parking.

Cute little cottage for two
This was perfect for our 6 nights in Mousehole and it was just what we expected from the listing. The bed was very comfortable and the kitchen was equipped with everything we needed for cooking breakfasts and dinners. It was a short walk to the harbour and the bus stop.

A Week to explore
Beautiful centrally located cottage. Sunny aspect, sun at the front in the morning and in the shared courtyard to the rear
Extremely well equipped, luxury towels and bedding
Plenty of storage space, extremely comfortable bed and a wonderful huge bathroom with double shower and a deep claw foot bath
We cooked in quite a few nights and we had everything that we needed
We had 2 meals in Mousehole. One at The Ship Inn with friends who were also staying in the area. This was very reasonable, great service and great food. We also had a meal at 2ForeSt, ate outside, again, great service and the food was amazing.
We had fresh croissants and cakes from the deli a couple of minutes away
Parking was ok as we managed to get spaces in the Quayside car park which is £3 for 24 hours
Angela was extremely helpful prior to our arrival and the cottage was spotless
A lovely week exploring this glorious area and were quite lucky with the weather

Schmuckstück in Mousehole
Geschmackvoll eingerichtet, gemütlich, voll ausgestattete Küche, tolles Bad mit Dusche und Badewanne. Die Lage direkt am Hafen ist etwas ungünstig, da der Verkehr direkt an der Eingangstür vorbei führt. Insgesamt aber trotzdem sehr empfehlenswert!

A beautiful Cute Cottage, but checked out after one sleepless night :(
The cottage is delightful. It is beautifully renovated and the finish in each room is very high quality. However the bed is such a disappointment. The mattress and bedding are lovely - again very high quality..but the bed base is similar to the one I bought for my 8 year old daughter from Argos. It is thin, white washed pine, and it creaks and squeaks with EVERY move you make! Even adjusting your pillow. I spent the night on the sofa, listening to the squeaky bed through the ceiling above me. Apart from putting the mattress onto the floor, there was no way to improve the situation, so sadly, we checked out first thing the next morning and stayed in a hotel that night. The owner was very responsive when we messaged to say we had checked out because of the bed, but said she would have preferred us to let her come over and see if she could have rectified the situation, which is fair enough, but unless she was going to replace the bed base, there was nothing that would have persuaded us to risk another night with no sleep I'm afraid.

Ein Bijou!!! Wundervoll eingerichtet mit viel Liebe zum Detail. Die Pflanzen, der frische Blumenstrauss und das "Willkommensgeschenk" sind das sog. Tüpfelchen auf dem i! PERFEKT! Besser geht es nicht!
Lage ist super. 1 Minute bis zum Hafen und zu den Parkplatzproblem kann ich nichts sagen - wir hatten immer Glück und es hatte abends immer genügend Parkplätze frei.

Boutique Cottage
Beautifully chic boutique style cottage - no expense has been spared on the furnishings and decoration. The kitchen is very well equipped with all modern appliances, the bathroom is luxurious with fluffy white towels.
Angela is very easy to deal with, booking was very efficient and she was very helpful with advice on restaurants in the area. She also let us know on the check in day that the cottage was ready early for us which was a very thoughtful touch.
My only piece of advice would be to bring at least £9 in pound coins because if you cannot get parked on the road coming into Mousehole you will need to park in the public car park and the machine only takes coins. £9 is for 24 hours parking.
We would not hesitate to rebook if visiting the area again.

An absolutely perfect location for a child-free, carefree break in one of the most stunning parts of the country.
The cottage is beautifully appointed throughout - a stylish haven of calm with a boutique hotel feel - and every detail has been carefully considered by the owner to ensure that you are left wanting for nothing.
You are right in the middle of Mousehole with nothing more than a few steps away - the harbour and incredible views over the bay, great pubs and cafés, interesting shops and galleries - yet if you choose to stay in, stoke up the wood burner and hunker down with a book and a glass of something comfortable, you’ll still feel like you’re having a great holiday.

Stylish, extremely comfortable & great location
The Courtyard is über-smart, stylish and superbly comfortable. My wife and I had a wonderful stay here. The cottage is incredibly well equipped with no expense spared on the facilities.
Despite the appalling weather, the courtyard was cozy, toasty and very romantic - especially with the wood burner blazing on a wet winter evening. The cottage is perfectly located for Mousehole harbor and all facilities are a stone's throw away. My only regret was that we didn't book longer. Still, there's the incentive to come back for another stay in the Courtyard - something we will definitely do very soon

Fabulous!
The cottage is in a perfect location, within minutes of the pub, local eateries, shops and the seafront. The owner has paid enormous attention to detail and the property is beautifully appointed. The location is also great for exploring Cornwall. We loved our stay in this gorgeous holiday and will most definitely return here for future holidays.

Beautiful refurbished fisherman’s cottage
We had a fantastic stay in the lovely coastal village of Mousehole. The cottage was stylishly renovated with antiques and a luxurious bathroom. The bed was super comfortable and the kitchen was well equipped with all modern appliances. The location is very central with an amazing pub within 2 minutes walking distance that serves wonderful food. We had a great time in this beautiful and comfortable cottage!

Mousehole’s best designed hidden gem
We were just thrilled when we arrived at the cottage as it is simply gorgeous. The photos do it no justice. I presume it must be owned by interior designers with an eye for both style and quality as the place was furnished with incredible flair.
The kitchen is a total knockout and the huge bathroom incredibly gorgeous and luxurious with a massive shower and stunning free standing bath.
The location is amazing, literally seconds from the beach so really we couldn’t have hoped for more.
To top it all, you won’t find a better or more accommodating host than Angela who really goes the extra mile to make your stay special. She provided us with advice on the area and tipped us off on all the best local restaurants and places to discover that we would otherwise have missed out on.
We have stayed in the area a few times now and this is absolutely our favourite find by far. Chic, comfortable, cosy and in a great spot.
This is absolutely a must do in Mousehole now for us and we cannot wait to return.

Stunning and immaculate house in perfect location
This former fisherman's cottage has been renovated by the owners to an incredibly high standard. It's a fantastic place for couples looking for the perfect Cornish getaway. Everything you can think of is supplied – and many things you can't think of, too! – and everything is a really hi spec. It was real luxury to stay in.
We stayed at the beginning of February. Particular highlights were:
1. The wood-burning stove and cosy sitting room of an evening
2. The bed - so so comfortable and the bed linen is so so smooth
3. The massive luxury bathroom with walk in shower, roll-top bath and underfloor heating
4. The location - steps away from the picturesque harbour and steps away from The Old Coastguard pub, with its wonderful garden and views over Mounts Bay.
The owners live very nearby and couldn't have been more attentive and helpful where needed. The perfect hosts.
We'll definitely be back.
