Аутентичный отель в центре Газиантепа. Очень приятное место. Хозяин с трепетом и любовью относится к отелю и постояльцам. Очень обходительный человек. Также прекрасный персонал в отеле, во всем помогут, решат все вопросы. Очень веселый, славный попугай Баден живет в Anadolu Evleri, и еще милые котики. Понравилось все. С удовольствием приеду в этот отель снова.

- The location, so close to everything
- It was a historic building
- Breakfast buffet was nice (I've see complaints about this but i can tell you it's better than what you get back home in new zealand)
- reception spoke english and staff were pleasant
- price was reasonable (again some people complain about this but where I'm from what i paid wouldn't even get you a hotel room in new zealand or if it does it would not be very nice)
The bed was slightly uncomfortable, the shower only comes in 2 temperatures boiling hot and freezing cold and yes i followed the instructions of slowly turning the cold water on. Given the age of this property i can forgive the above.
What i found not to be ok was the bathroom floor had this puddle of strange thick white fluid which i stepped in (i don't know if it was jif cleaner or plaster but seriously clean it up before you have guests), also apparently there was supposed to be a list of prices on the minibar which there wasn't. All things very much in control of housekeeping.
Another annoying thing is you have to ring the doorbell every time you want to get in an out, didn't love that.

Me and my daughter had an amazing experience at the Carra Hotel. The staff were extremely welcoming and helpful. We were given lots of information about Mardin and where to visit which was a great help. The owner Mete arranged a taxi tour for us which was an incredible experience. The taxi driver Mehmet took us around for the entire day and was extremely knowledgeable of the area and knew the best places to go. The hotel itself was beautiful with a gorgeous traditional interior design. I highly recommend getting tea and sitting at the terrace, which offers a gorgeous view. Thank you to Yildiz and Bekir for the lovely breakfast and for being very friendly. Overall, our experience was 10/10 and we hope to make another trip in the future!

All the staff were also kind.
The room rank was different from the room I reserved, but it was acceptable since I was traveling alone.

Der Empfang von Herrn Özkan bis hin zur Verabschiedung war sehr sehr freundlich. Wir würden es jederzeit sofort wieder buchen. Sehr zentral gelegen.
Die Matratze war schon durchgelegen so dass man in die mitte rutscht.

Bir çok turistik noktaya ve popüler restoranlara yürüme mesafesindeki merkezi konum. (Şehrin trafik probleminden dolayı en başa bu özelliği yazıyorum, bu eşsiz konum sayesinde trafik çilesine bulaşmadan günlerimizi geçirebildik.)
Tarih kokan ve çok iyi muhafaza edilmiş harika bir tesis. (200 yıldan fazla tarihi olan bu yapı; zaman içerisinde okul, işhanı, mesken gibi amaçlarla kullanılmış. “Yabancı Damat” dizisi gibi bazı yapımlara ev sahipliği yapmış hatıralarla dolu bir mekan. Bizim gibi tarihi yapı meraklılarına güzel bir deneyim oldu.)
Pırıl pırıl temizlenmiş ve nostaljik dekore edilmiş odalar.
Murat Bey ve Özkan Bey başta olmak üzere; konukların iyi bir tatil geçirebilmesi için bıkmadan usanmadan uğraşan, güler yüzlü ve misafirperver bir ekip. (Ekibe ayrı bir parantez açmam şart çünkü gerek mekan tavsiyeleriyle, gerek bilgilendirmeleriyle, gerekse de hoş sohbetleriyle tatilimizi daha verimli geçirmemize çok katkıda bulundular. Bir kez daha teşekkür ederim tüm Anadolu Evleri ailesine.)

The hotel exceeded all expectations.
Upon arrival, we were met and escorted to the parking space for the car. Considering how narrow the streets are there, it was very pleasant.
At the reception we were given advice on what to visit during the time that we are in the city.
The location of the hotel allows you to find yourself in the very center of the life of the city in a second, while the quiet courtyard creates a feeling of comfort.
Breakfast in a cozy courtyard allows you to feel yourself on the pages of history.
The size of the rooms and their decoration take you back in time and create a unique feeling of comfort and history when you stay at the hotel.

The old buildings were beautiful and obviously lovingly restored. The location was perfect, right in the heart of the old city. Most of all, the staff were exceptional, going out of their way to help us with advice and organizing a tour and taxis. They were also very friendly, helping us to understand more about the history and culture of this fascinating part of Turkiye. We would love to return.

Hotel perfectly located in the very historical center of the city. A two-century old historical building with fancy, spacious and stylish rooms. Nice courtyard to have breakfast in. Very friendly and nice staff, truly a great place to stay in Gaziantep

The historical building, the beautiful atmosphere of authentic design of the 200 old house.

The homey and family warm surroundings thanks to the staff .

Area of improvement:
The hotel needs to modify the bathroom (it needs a better ventilation), and the narrow stairs to the bedroom, also the car parking .

Totally lovely little hotel. Very tastefully and sweetly created. and the little pug dog is adorable!
The car park was a bit hard to find and enter! but the staff were very helpful and friendly!

Beautifully restored historical building with amazing courtyard, perfect yet calm location, walking distance to all main sights and dining options. Clean, nicely decorated and maintained. Exceptionally friendly and helpful staff.
Wifi in the room could be better although I understand it must be due to the thick 200 year old walls.

Great location, easy to hit some of the sights, eating and shopping. The staff were extremely helpful and friendly.
The breakfast was not great especially since Gaziantep is known as the gastronomy capital of Turkey. The walls are also very thin so you hear everything. Lastly, a small map or direction to find the parking lot would have been useful.

It's a typical Armenian architecture of Antep from 19th century in the old town... Our room was enough big and clean.
As typical Antep house, it's in a narrow street, there is no chance to reach there by car. You should walk 50 meters upslope from a cobblestoned street. Still, it's not big issue if your luggage is not heavy.

The room was amazing. Stunning internal lighting on the mosaics at sunrise. Breathtakingly beautiful..
All the shops and bazaar and mosque like few minutes walk..
Taking luggage up is abit difficult due to steep steps.

Very beautiful hotel, with excellent position. Rooms are cousy and breakfast is super, really generous and tasty. Very helpful and kind staff also. I think it was the best hotel during my trip in Turkey, unfortunely I just spent one night here! Really recommended.

Fantastic building in the heart of Antep. Close to everything (castle, Bazar and just some bus stops from the Zeugma Museum)
Excellent room: big, clean and the bathroom was also very clean (but mind your head if you're taller than 180cm!)
The courtyard where you can have breakfast or a tea in the fresh air of the evening is absolutely gorgeous.
A bit of attention more in the cleaning of the courtyard would be appreciated. The entrance of my room had a layer of pigeons droppings in front of it.
