Bungalow 5 Minuten zu Fuß zum Meer. Der Bungalow verfügt über 3 Schlafzimmer, 1 mit Doppelbett in einem Zimmer und 2 Einzelbetten in den anderen beiden Zimmern. Wir haben ein Reisebett und einen Hochstuhl. Die Lounge verfügt über 2 Ledersofas, einen 40-Zoll-TV, einen DVD- und einen Videoplayer. W-lan. Die Küche verfügt über einen elektrischen Doppelherd und ein elektrisches Kochfeld, eine Mikrowelle, einen Wasserkocher, eine Kaffeemaschine, einen Toaster und eine Waschmaschine. Der Essbereich verfügt über einen Tisch und 6 Stühle. Das Badezimmer hat eine Badewanne mit separater Duschkabine, Toilette und Waschbecken. Es gibt 2 Toiletten im Bungalow. Es hat Gaszentralheizung. Off-Road-Parkplatz für 2 Autos und wir haben einen großen Garten hinter dem Haus, in dem Kinder herumlaufen können

Im Umkreis von 500 m befinden sich 2 Pubs / Restaurants. Weitere Restaurants, Banken und Geschäfte befinden sich weniger als 800 m entfernt. Es sind nur 2 Minuten zu Fuß zum Highcliffe Castle, wie auf Mr Selfridge zu sehen, 5 Minuten zu Fuß zum Meer und 5 Minuten zu Fuß zum Highcliffe Castle Golfplatz. Wir sind am Rande des neuen Waldes. Bournemouth ist ca. 13 km entfernt. Hier gibt es viele Golfplätze. Leider keine Haustiere. Rauchen verboten.

The bungalow was very comfortable, well furnished and beautifully clean. There was a large garden but sadly the weather was too wet to sit in it, we just had to enjoy it from the comfortable conservatory. The area was a quiet road with several nearby places to eat. Public transport was good.

Nice, spacious and quiet house on a great location. Smooth contact with the owner. Only the dining room was rather small. Some pots and pans need replacement and the cutlery was not enough. The short walk to the beach was a real pleasure!

Very comfortable bungalow with all you need for a good stay. Lovely area. Easy walk to the beach though have to cross a busy road over to Highcliffe castle then round the grounds to the zig zag concrete path down to the beach. Christchurch is nice, coast coffee cafe gets a mention for nice lunches. Went to travel the steam train between Norden and Swanage via the chain link ferry at sandbanks. Went to Beaulieu museum which is worth a visit and see the New Forest and ponies on the way. Overall a lovely stay and our second time there. Owners very helpful and contactable. Will go again.

The property is nice, with lots of outdoor space (which was welcome with two young children).
Location is great for travelling to beaches and other places of interest. The beds were super comfortable, which is sometimes a big issue I find when staying away!

Outstanding Home, easy access to all areas around Highcliffe.. easy to find and close to enough to walk to the main street with all the shops you need. Excellent restaurant The Oaks a short walk.

Enjoyable stay in the bungalow, comfortable beds, slightly small bathroom but usable, handy having the cloakroom as a second toilet facility. Kitchen had everything we needed to cook some meals. Conservatory was nice especially when the sun came out. Quiet area no road noise although the main road is busy and difficult to cross on foot to get to Highcliffe castle. Tearoom at Highcliffe is not a patch on what it was a few years ago, only good for coffee and cake. Nice walk from Highcliffe Castle to Mudeford Quay with cafes and toilets on the way. Bungalow ideally placed to visit Poole/ Bournemouth/ New Forest etc had some good days out with nice weather. Also handy for Tesco express/ Co-op in Highcliffe a short drive away. Would definitely go again to the property.

Lovely holiday
We had a lovely holiday here.
The bungalow is very comfortable, spacious, well equipped and has a good sized enclosed garden.
It is in a convenient situation with shops and pubs within walking distance. The walk to the beach was rather longer than suggested but no problem for fit adults.

Short break for a change of scenery
The property is ideal for those who have walking difficulties. Off street parking is a real luxury for us!! The bungalow is situated in a very quiet residential cul-de-sac, but is close enough to local shops and sea front. All the rooms were very comfortable, we especially enjoyed sitting in the conservatory looking out into the garden. A couple of minor negative points. My mother-in-law (89) wouldn’t use the shower as there was nothing to hold on to. The kitchen could do with a few more utensils and cooking equipment. But overall I would recommend this property for a nice quiet break.

Stayed a week. Top location for beach access and playground (if you are travelling with kids). Beautiful house with modern appliances whoch we can recommend for your holiday.

Spacious bungalow
Lovely spacious bungalow in need of a little maintenance. Ideally situated for visiting the area.
Advertised as suitable for disabled but there was no extra facilities such as handrails.

Great place to stay and location
We had a really nice stay at the bungalow. As other reviews have said the decor isn't modern, but it was immaculately clean with a lovely garden and has everything you need.
It's located in a nice neighbourhood and great location, 5 mins walk from Highcliffe Castle and beach. The New Forest is very close with many walks and also Moors Country Park for the kids. Five stars with no hesitation

Great choice for family with young children
Stayed with 2 young children and MiL in December 2019.
House is really well located for the beaches in Highcliffe, Mudeford and not far a drive to go to Bournemouth. Excellent playground walking distance as well.
Everything we needed was there at the house (including toys for the children) , and it was warm and cozy despite the cool weather outside.

Great location
The bungalow was spotlessly clean and although furniture a little tired (as can be seen on the website photos) did not detract from the enjoyment of our stay. The conservatory was a lovely space to sit early evening and had plenty of toys for children. It had a good size garden and parking was easy. It’s in a great location for walking to the beach, local eateries and the high street as well as easy driving to visit the New Forest and surrounding towns ......... and there are plenty of good golf clubs within 20 mins radius.

A nice comfortable bungalow, very well equipped, lovely conservatory and garden. It is in a very good position in Highcliffe, 10 minute walk to the beach via Highcliffe Castle and a 5 minute drive to Avon Beach main carpark.

Home from home
This was our first staycation for many years and we were not disappointed. The property is very comfortable and immaculately clean. Sunny garden ideal for all the family. Location excellent and very easy to visit the many attractions in this area. The beautiful sandy beach is a short walk through Highcliff castle.

Hedgehog Garden!
We enjoyed our stay in Highcliffe. The house was clean spacious and well equipped. Great location close to the beach. We loved the garden with plenty of room for the children to run around. We also spotted a hedgehog and the sun room made an excellent place to view it. Thank you for a lovely stay.

Easy booking and quick confirmation. All details given in time and useful travel route recommendation.
Everything as described and beds comfortable. Everything in kitchen we needed. Nice large garden to relax in. We have teenagers but would be good property with younger children. Very good location. We enjoyed being able to cycle and walk to the beach. Also very good access to new forest and we found off road path into new forest for cycling. Good amenities nearby for shopping.

Silverway, Highcliffe - the perfect retreat.
The property was perfectly situated for our exploration of the New Forest area and offered a fabulous base to return to at the end of a busy day. It was well equipped, spacious and comfortable. We particularly enjoyed relaxing in the large conservatory at the end of the day and the garden was lovely to sit intoo. The local shops and numerous restaurants meant we were well catered for daily and finding Highcliffe Castle was just across the road to the property was the icing on the cake. It's well worth a visit and the guided tour a bonus - apparantly the properties adjacent to the castle are all built on its grounds. We would definitely visit this area again and book at the Silverway property.

The bungalow was just what we were looking for: spacious, comfortable, with a lovely garden. The tranquil setting was great and the location close to the shops in Highcliffe was ideal. We would certainly stay again.

A great holiday
Just back from a wonderful week based in Highcliffe. The five of us really enjoyed staying at this spacious and very well situated bungalow. It was great to be able to get to the long sandy beach on foot, via Highcliffe castle. The children also had a lot of fun playing volley ball and badminton in the garden. The bungalow was also an excellent base for us to visit the surrounding area and we really enjoyed visiting Christchurch and Bournemouth.

Fabulous bungalow in a great location
We stayed for 6days in November.
On arrival, the bungalow was lovely and cosy.
Everything was spick and span and well equipped.
The location, close to Highcliffe Castle, was great for walks along the coast.
Only a short drive to Lymington and Christchurch so perfect for a bit of retail therapy!

Excellent Place To Stay
We had a superb holiday, staying in this lovely property in a very quiet area, only a stones throw from Highcliffe Castle and the beach. The bungalow has an excellent conservatory, perfect for enjoying a glass of wine in while relaxing after a day’s sightseeing. We were very lucky with the weather which allowed us to visit many places in the New Forest from this ideally placed property. It is close by to Monkey World, Brownsea Island, Beaulieu, Bournemouth, Poole and Christchurch. The list goes on.
The owners were available to contact although we had no need to do so. We would certainly not hesitate to stay there again if we were to visit the area in the future.

Accommodation
Accommodation was fine,just what we expected and very comfortable.We were unable to make the most of our stay as we all became unwell,one after the other and ended up leaving a day early.We wish to make it clear that our illness had nothing to do with the bungalow or the area but was a severe cold and chest infection which hit us all hard.Thank you Steve and Sue for the use of your bungalow.

Beautful spot
Beautifully situated for bike rides, walks, restaurants etc. The bungalow is lovely. Spotlessly clean throughout with a lovely garden for those summer days. Garage isn't part of the let, so if you take bikes like us make sure you take locks for them. Would definitely recommend.
