Brilliant property with lots of space for a big group. The pool was great for the kids. Local area has lots to offer including rafting, via ferrata, mountain biking and hiking. We loved the outdoor seating area for group meals, and there is plenty of space inside to eat together. The rooms are an eclectic mix, and it took a while to sort the bathroom logistics between us. The kitchen is very well equipped for big meals. Would highly recommend. Dominique is a great host-very friendly and welcoming.

We had one of our best family Summer Holidays at Chalet Oger. The location is magnificent with stunning views in all directions and the pristine swimming pool got daily use. There’s so much to do and see throughout Serre Chevalier in the Summer and we managed to find a great balance of exploring and resting in the Chalet and nearby village.
Dominique was always helpful and attentive when we needed him, but was fantastic at giving us privacy and space to enjoy the Chalet too.
We’d highly recommend a Summer break here!

The chalet was ideal for a summer break for our 3 generation family. Dominique made us very welcome and answered any queries. The chalet has a pool which is great for relaxing - but the area around has tons of activities available: hikes upto mountain lakes, rafting, kayaking, mountain biking and via ferratas. We all had a great time.

Perfect, charming yet basic location. The chalet is perfect located. From there you have a terrific view on the mountains and more. The kitchen and dining area are we’ll equipped and has enough space for everyone. You have space for skis, additional fridges, big pans/pots for 13+, 2xRaclettes etc etc. Besides that, everything was clean. Rooms and beds are small but spacious enough for the stay. However mattresses are not super comfy and could be renewed. But other than that everything was ok 👌

Une semaine incroyable
Nous avons passé une semaine dans cette belle maison. Le propriétaire fut très sympathique et communiquait régulièrement avec nous. À notre arrivée la maison était parfaitement nettoyée, tout était en parfait état. La présence de la piscine était très agréable et était nettoyée tous les matins par le propriétaire dans la plus grande discrétion. Il y avait beaucoup d’activités aux alentours (marchés, tyrolienne géante…). Lorsque nous avons eu un problème de frigo, le propriétaire a été très efficace en nous en trouvant un autre dans les plus brefs délais.
Nous recommandons cette propriété et y reviendrons très certainement.

Cycling trip to the Alps
The owner Dominique was so helpful and nothing was too much trouble for him.
He met us upon arrival and showed us around the property.
He attended the property everyday to clean the pool and if at the property had a chat with him.
The location and facilities were excellent and were perfect for our cycling trip with easy access to miles of cycling and mountains.
Would definitely recommend this location for anytime of the year whether it be skiing in the winter or cycling / walking in the summer.

Magnifique Séjour
Magnifique séjour dans un très beau chalet idéalement placé à quelques minutes des pistes. Le logement bien équipé est très agréable et on s’y sent d’emblée très bien. Nous avons été très bien accueillis par les propriétaires. Nous avons aussi apprécié la réactivité de Dominique qui a instantanément déneigé les abords du chalet après une chute de neige. A rééditer donc.

Chalet parfait pour un séjour au ski
Chalet idéal pour 10 pers (7 adultes et 3 enfants). Très bien situé dans la station (à 1min de l’arrêt de la navette. Il est parfaitement équipé pour un séjour au ski!
La communication avec le propriétaire a été excellente! Il a été toujours disponible pour nous faciliter le séjour !

Idealer Ausgangspunkt für Motorradtouren
Sehr gemütliches Haus mit vielen Zimmern, schönem Pool und Garten. Unkomplizierte Übergabe bei Ankunft und Abreise. Gute Kommunikation mit Dominique. Typische französische Bettdecken (eine für zwei Personen). Da fast jeder von uns ein eigenes Zimmer hatte, war das aber kein Problem. Wir waren zum Motorradfahren dort und haben die Woche sehr genossen.

Propriété parfaite pour une 12aine de personnes, bien située, bien agencée, au soleil, avec arrêts navettes à 100 mètres. Proche de La Salle et des départs de skis. Propriétaires bienveillants, très sympathiques et toujours préoccupés de votre confort. Avec le beau temps et le soleil qui était au rendez-vous nous avons passé un excellent séjour. A recommander!

Bus stop 1 minute walk away and only 4-5 mins to the Aravet gondola by bus.

Beautiful, well located house in Serre Chevalier for a party of up to four couples and four children
We found this house to be well equipped with four double/queen bedrooms and four single beds in two connected rooms, more than enough for our family of seven. There is adequate crockery, cutlery and cooking gear and, importantly, chairs for at least twelve. Small children are catered for with two high chairs and our littlest one used the folding cot provided. Care of small children is needed on the two steep staircases; the single beds are all on the top floor. The house was quite warm for our winter stay of one week in January 2020, with heating in all rooms. We were glad to have the use of the dishwasher, clothes washer and dryer, as well as a rack for our skis in a lockable outside room. Our grandchildren played in the snow in the large yard, but in summer they would have been in the pool. We had only a 100m walk to the nearest stop of the free village shuttle, running every 20 minutes to the ski slopes and shops. The shuttle drivers were very friendly and accommodating, mostly with at least enough English. The owners, Dominique and Méréille, are friendly and helpful and are happy to communicate in English. We really enjoyed our stay, in despite accidents that required medical intervention. La Salle les Alpes is a wonderful base in Serre Chevalier Valley for skiing at any level, and this house has been a great place to stay.

Great Chalet
We stayed as two families over Christmas and the New Year there was plenty of room and the chalet worked well everything you needed was at hand, plenty of hot water and it was never cold in the chalet I would definitely recommend this chalet for big parties of people, all the ski lifts are no more that 5/10 minutes by bus and the bus runs every 20 minutes and the bus stop is 1 minute away

Noël chez M. et Mme Oger à Serre Chevalier, une très bonne idée!
Nous avons été formidablement bien accueillis. Tout a été fait pour nous aider malgré des chutes de neige très importantes. Le chalet est parfait avec un équipement très complet. Sa situation est idéale à 50 mètres de la navette gratuite pour aller en 3 minutes au pied des pistes. Nous avons passé une semaine formidable en famille et nous recommandons chaudement cette belle adresse.

Une semaine magique en fin de saison, avec 6 adultes et 6 enfants.
Il n’y a presque plus personne dans la station et c’est très appréciable!
Chalet très bien situé, au centre de la vallée de serre chevalier.
Accès à la navette gratuite (petit train) à quelques mètres, qui dessert le village de la salle les alpes : très pratique pour revenir du marché!
Accrobranche, VTT de descente, randonnées, bains de monetier... bref un régal pour parents et enfants!

très beau chalet propriétaire accueillant très bien situé nous avons skier toute la semaine sans problèmes les navettes pour se déplacer sont a l'heure ce qui n'est pas le cas dans toute les stations de ski.

Fabulous
We stayed here for February half term week 2019. There is so much we loved about this property. The owner is friendly and helpful and always responds to communication. We really loved the chalet. It looks exactly how you would imagine a ski chalet, made of wood with views of snowy mountains. It is always warm and has loads of hot water, we usually always run out but with this chalet it wasn’t a problem. We also loved the bath with jets, so much fun and the raclet machine. The chalet is close to the slopes. You can walk in 15 minutes, it’s easy to walk but you can also take the bus and the bus stops just outside the chalet. There is a bus timetable in the chalet and it’s so convienant to hop on the bus that we got more and more lazy and did that, it comes every 20 minutes, bang on time or a minute or 2 early. Honestly it’s brilliant, drives you straight to the slopes in less than 5 minutes. We got a lot of our shopping from Aldi, 10 minutes drive away, which was easy and cheap. We had lots of fun evenings sitting around in the dining room. We enjoyed it so much we have already booked to come back next year!

La posizione è ottima per lo sci. La navetta parte a 50 metri dalla casa. Unico lato negativo la presenza di uno dei bagni in una camera che quindi ne limita l utilizzo

Accueil plus que chaleureux des propriétaires qui mettent en confiance immédiatement. Ils sont également très disponibles.
Chalet très propre, très bien équipé et très classe. Je m’y suis tout de suite très bien senti notamment sur le fait qu’habituellement je suis réticente à dormir dans un lit autre que le mien.

We had a great holiday - described by one of the children as the best holiday ever. The hosts were really helpful. The accommodation worked well for us - and lovely suppers and chat around the dining table. The village is nice and we did a mixture of walking to/from the pistes and taking the bus - which was really convenient. The weather and ski conditions were great too - and although a fairly busy week it didn’t feel too crowded and there was skiing for all levels. I think it’s a great resort.
The chalet was lovely and warm, the beds comfy and Dominique was really helpful with questions we had in advance and on arrival - as was Fabien with transfers etc. Linen towels etc all provided too which was great.
We’d love to go back for skiing - but I bet it would also be fab in the summer too with such a beautiful outlook, pool etc.
All round a great place to stay and hopefully we will be back.
We flew to Grenoble this year but Turin last year - both are possible but Turin closer.

We were 8 adults and 2 Children who had a fantastic stay in the house in June-July! Very well mainained, plenty of space for 10, good kitchen, and three bathrooms. Great patio and heated pool in the garden with fantastic views over the Mountains! Lots of activities nearby and a short drive to reach Briancon and other attractions in the area. Restaurants, small shops and bakeries within Walking distance. Would love to come back! Merci Dominique for great and welcoming service from booking to departure!

The chalet was very well equipped and was perfect for 10 adults. We had a great time and loved the pool and the outdoor space. Excellent location in the Serre Chevalier valley and very welcoming owners.
