The hotel wasn’t full and we asked about the upgrade and we didn’t get anything.

Our stay was enjoyable. The food needs to be reviewed as flavor is missing on a lot of the dishes. One of the major issues for me was the temperature of the pool. Yes, it was really hot but going into the pool felt like a Jacuzzi so having some sort of temperature adjustment to cool the pool of some sort will be beneficial because, you go into the pool to feel refreshed, but it was the total opposite

The location of our room was great. Close distance to restaurants, elevators, pools and beach. The bed was comfortable with good quality bedding. Small problems with central AC or electricity were fixed within timely matter. We have experienced great nightly entertainment. The show "Viva Mexico" settled by the beach was the best. Food was great, authentic and show itself was beautiful. Staff was excellent, very attentive to guests. However, the area where breakfast was served should be much colder since some of the dishes were melting and did not look appealing to consume.

The layout of the building where a little Inconvenient not having a direct entrance to the building. No AC in the elevators! Overall staff (Lupita) working in the lobby bar was the best!!

Dining option were great! Ambience and the different themes the restaurants had were amazing. My family and enjoyed our stay. Will definitely book again.

They advertised the resort as a 5-star hotel, but it’s more accurately a 3.5- or 4-star property at best. The resort is 30 years old, and the pictures on Expedia don’t accurately represent its current condition; it looks much older in person. One of the reasons we booked this resort was the expectation that golf would be included, but they charge $200 per person for tee times. The food was average, with only 1 or 2 decent restaurants out of the 9 available. Additionally, the buffet wasn’t open all day, which was inconvenient. It’s unrealistic to expect guests to adhere to specific meal times when they might be hungry at other times. The room service menu is also quite limited, lacking options like wings, fruits, or fresh smoothies. It seems they’ve cut corners on food quality. Overall, we probably won’t return, and it’s definitely not a 5-star hotel

Everything was very good, very clean, perfect service and delicious food.

Cleanliness, staff was very helpful and very polite, restaurant options were plentiful with very good to great food, conveniently located to the airport and to both Cabo San Lucas and San Jose Los Cabos. Overall a great and enjoyable stay.

The experience in Grand hotel was amazing. The view to the ocean was beautiful.

I would sadly never recommend this place. To get a drink at the pool would take over an hour food was usually over 2 hours at pools rooms and restaurants. They were nice but with toddlers we can wait 2 hours for fries. We usually had to go ask again to get anything. The kids playground was covered in fire ants. My son got 5 huge bites in 10 mins. We had a bug in our bed the first night. (Spider beetle) To get to the pool/bars and restaurants from your room you have to be picked up or walk 10 mins straight uphill It’s just not the all inclusive we were expecting the food was very average we had panda in the airport and it was the best food all week

Pros: The staff were very helpful, friendly and kind. The views are beautiful, and hotel room was clean and comfortable. Cons: We found the food to be average, at best (lacking flavour and variety) - underwhelming for an all-inclusive experience. The resort has many stairs and uphill walking and not many functioning elevators or available golf-carts - very inconvenient.

Love the resort. The only downside is the lack of entertainment at night. Our room was nice and our housekeeper did an outstanding job. Food was good as well as the food options. We would definitely stay here again.

The dining options and the foods were great. The place is so relaxing. Watching the school of fish close to the shore is a bonus!

Everything was an up charge! It was a nightmare checking in. When I asked for an itemized bill they said they will email the bill To me. Never did now I have a charge on my credit card for over $1000 and I do not know what it is for.

This is not a 5 star resort by any means. We booked a king bed room. The toilet leaked water, the shower tiles were messed up, the plug for your phone is hard to find by the bed, the room floor had sand on it upon arrival, the shower door wouldn't stay closed no matter how many times we closed it while showering, you hear the carts rolling by in the morning, and the room overall was seriously outdated. One time I went to the excursion desk (next to the concierge trying to purchase an excursion. She told us we need to wait for a guy to charge our card. We waited and waited. I waited for 45 minutes and halfway thru the lady we were told to wait by took a call and stepped away, saying she'd be right back my bf went to the room, came back, still saw me waiting there, and he went to the concierge desk to sort it out. Service by the adult pool is horrible. The guys do not come and ask if you'd like to order anything. Also, all the pools in the resort are SOOOOO hot its like a bath. We went to Peninsula after seeing a banana split on the menu for lunch, we get seated, we try to order, and they said our deserts are currently unavailable. Then why is it on your menu?! You need to take a golf cart to go to one of the restaurants and the golf cart never comes by. The pool chairs are mostly surrounded by sand. This is so annoying. Anytime you want to go in the pool, you are treading sand into the pool. It feels gross. Also, there's fire ants in the sand. See the rest of my review on Yelp

We just returned from a 5 day stay July 2024. The grounds were absolutely beautiful. We spent a lot of time in the infinity pool that over looked the beach and ocean. That view is amazing. Byan took great care of us by the pool we always had drinks and food. Byan made our stay super enjoyable. Blu and El Mexicano were our favorite dinner spots. We had breakfast daily at Vina Del Mar the omelets are excellent and we loved the smoothies. Stop by the ice cream shop it’s delish! They have a very nice gym with a great view. Would definitely stay here again!

Likes. Many food options, pool options. Rooms were spacious and clean. Dislikes Understaffed, takes too long to get food services in some areas. Not convenient to go from one place to another. Elevators definitely need upgrading or better maintenance. Air conditioning in living room didn't work.

This was the second time we stayed in this resort. This time (July 2024), the dining options were much better than our previous stay (July 2023): more choices and also the food was better. Rooms and pools were still the same.

The cost of our stay was reasonable and service was amazing.

Staff were very nice and professional . Property was clean . Activities were very fun.
