The hotel itself was clean, comfortable bed, fridge and microwave in room. Amazing breakfast options; different styles of eggs each day, French toast sticks one day, sausage, make your own waffles, cereal, fruit, yogurt, bagels, toast, pastries, oatmeal. The AC in the room was pretty loud, I couldn’t sleep with it on. The “free” WiFi was terrible. They advertise free WiFi but also offer a paid option. The free is advertised as good for checking email but it wasn’t good, even for that. I did not pay for WiFi so I can’t speak to that option but it’s pretty bad to advertise free WiFi but have that option be so poor that if you need the internet you have to pay for it. The shampoo, conditioner, and body wash were fine and smelled good. The area around the hotel leaves a lot to be desired. It’s the kind of area where you want to double check that everything in your car is hidden and your doors are locked. My car was fine and nothing happened to my or anyone else’s car while I was there, that I’m aware of. It’s just an area where you can tell it’s better to double check and better to be safe than sorry.

Check in was rude, demanding and non communicative.

Beautiful hotel with all the necessary amenities! There’s a ton of food options nearby and it’s easy to get on the highway. Very quiet and secure building.

I usually don’t leave a negative review but this hotel really sucks. You would think that the quality would be better with the Hilton brand but not the case here at the Hampton Inn in Lodi. It would be one thing if it was just the uncomfortable mattress and scratchy sheets, but then you get the added joy of terrible attitudes at the front desk. Why they would have people with personalities of a wet blanket at the front desk I will never understand. Hilton Hotels can do better.

Very comfortable beds

We have stayed at the Hampton several times and it has always been really good. This time the people didn't seem as friendly. They have wine for sale there but when we asked for some wine glasses for our room we were handed some little plastic glasses. I asked if they had any glass ones and they said no. Any place that sells wine to guests should know that most people would rather drink their wine out of glass. Anyway it just didn't seem quite the same.

The room was super hot it displayed 65 but it was about 80 in the room 😢

What I liked about the property was that it was very clean, soacious , and staff was very friendly.

Good location and easy parking!

The location was great, nearby to restaurants and wineries. The price is competitive. The breakfast was quite good and complementary. However, our room was never cleaned, nor did we ever get our garbage picked up or towels changed. The front counter staff were polite but not very friendly.

The person at the check in counter said my card was declined. We left to find an ATM in order to deposit more money in my account. All three ATM's that service my bank do not permit deposits. We went back to see if the hitel would work with us. This person was rude, haughty, dismissive, uncaring and would not consider my offer to pay $ 500.00 cash for a $169.00 room. I went back to one of the ATM's to check my balance. I had $235.00. I printed the receipt. The bill at the hotel was $196.00. I am not sure if this is a new scam... decline the payment, cancel the room, charge the customer for not cancelling in time, and tent the room out again. What I know is we had to rent another hotel room as well as getting bilked out of this room. It may take some doing yet I definitely woll be reporting this to regulatory agencies.

Homeless people on the hotel grounds and didn’t appear that the staff cared. Front desk personnel were very indifferent.

The rooms are huge but this location can use some major updates and upgrades. The door to go outside slams shut and we could hear it all night. Carpets are super old and dirty, the beds could be a little more comfortable, and the shower head was trash. Overall we would stay here again for the area and space.

Comfy and clean… food was decent

Only warm shower water, not even hot. No safe in room. Receptionist with blue hair needs more training, couldn't understand simple requests. Only one waste paper basket. One of the bed frames was very squeaky when sat on. Sheets, pillows and room was clean and very acceptable.

Front desk staff was just short of rude. Not a good first impression!

Everything was great!

Couch and chairs were dirty on arms and chairs were tore on arms!! Toilet seat was falling off. When I made reservations I made it for handicap bathroom (shower with seat) when we got there there was no rooms except the one reserved. I can't left my hip to climb into tub. I explained that to receptionist and she said call 3rd party! Receptionist was rude!! With her purple hair and rude attitude!!
