We were very early and Rui graciously allowed us to check in early. After an overnight flight from the US it was so nice to shower and go out for lunch. Thank you Rui! We also had an early morning tour the next day and Gilamina served us a lovely breakfast an hour earlier than scheduled. Wonderful staff!

Unfortunately there was construction right outside our window but honestly we weren’t in our room during the day so it was not an issue.

5 min walk to the Ribera. fantastic communication with host and Matilde took time to give us lots of recommendations. delicious breakfast that was all freshly made. brilliant value. we had the top room and the views were great. perfect for a romantic getaway.

Clean comfortable accommodation in a great location. We stayed in room 6 on the top floor. Climbing 8 sets of stairs each time you go to your room is not for the timid but the great view and "loft like" room made it worth it. (there is a luggage elevator) Breakfast was nice and well-served. And Mathilde was most helpful and friendly.

Nothing. Tiny things like the lighting in the room could be improved and breakfast could change from day to day but overall an excellent experience.

the property is from the last century or so, i don’t remember by now (sorry). but the thing is that there rebuild the place and maintain the original restructure of store that are all over. it is very elegant and a nice immersive experience on the city esthetics.

The location of the flat is perfect. The flat is very nice and comfortable. Bathroom very clean. Breakfast was delicious with most things home made. The girls were freindly and very informative. (resturants recommended were great)

We have never gave 10 points before but this really deserves it. We got room 5. It was large, clean with very good bathroom and even view on Gaia. Every day cleaning of the room was very detailed and they even arranged our cosmetics on separate glass plate. Host was friendly but not nosy, helpful and always smiling and went with the services well beyond expected. Breakfast is served and cooked as you ask. It was unable to leave hungry, it was like visiting grandparents - it's hard to say that you are full. They even gave us apple pies to room fridge to have something for the evening. Location is in the center but still in side quiet street and with modern windows so with closed windows we did not hear even the music festival and drunk people below. We recommend this hotel to everyone and we plan to come back again.

We had a really good experience staying at Belomont52 Guest House! :) the location is perfect, everything is in walking distance, very modern style in the old part of the city, I liked that :) The breakfast was exceptional, I love when a place serves a fresh orange juice and a good quality of coffee! so thank you for that! Special to hosts Ana and Ana, as they are 2 amazing ladies, who were very helpful and it was great to chat and they have good advises about places to visit. And thanks again for the help with our lost luggage during the flight!!! Mariia & Ilana

Ana is a great host and a even greater person. Our holiday didn't start as planned unfortunately (I lost my wallet) but she was there for us, helping us with everything she could. A beautiful guest house, absolutely loved the huge windows and exposed brick. The staff were all so lovely and gave us lots of recommendations on arrival. They also were amazingly helpful when we realised late at night we had locked ourselves out! The location is great, easy walking distance to most places. The breakfast was delicious, plentiful and beautifully presented. A very lovely gem of a place.

A minor point was the pillows, I found them too hard but must be my preference as my boyfriend didn't mind, the bed itself is super comfy.

The hosts were so so lovely and wanted to make sure our stay was perfect. The guest house is so central in Porto, surrounded by restaurants and just a couple minutes walk from the river. Breakfast was delicious - fruit, yoghurt, bread, cakes, eggs, cold meats and cheeses, tea, coffee, orange juice - and really filling to set us up for the day. The room had a beautiful view of the city and across the river - worth climbing the hill for!! Nice size and stunning big bathroom and shower - can't recommend enough

Everything was great. Great location, friendly host, spacious room, comfy king-sized bed.

The noise from the street is quite high, but this issue applies to many other hotels in this busy area. So, I would not review this as a significant issue.

Breakfast was timely; immediately after sitting down. Beautifully served! After serving our breakfast the lady brought our luggage down to be ready for the taxi! Ana checked us in and offered a choice of rooms on Level 3 or Level 2. She was helpful with a map and appropriate "markings." She was most friendly and helpful. We met Ann; I believe she is an intern; helpful with water when we came back for a rest and to get out of the rain. A great staff! Rui arranged our taxi to the rail station. The taxi driver was ahead of time to transfer us. Upon arrival at the station he helped get us and our luggage to the correct lift for the train to Coimbra. We could not have asked for more from him. Please give him all the taxi business that you can! Umbrellas were available.

We would suggest tissues, a bottle of water for each guest and the small face cloths (or wash clothes, as we call them.) We have been guests at a couple of hotels where a shelf had been installed under the sink. After several unsuccessful attempts we gave up on getting the room safe to close and lock. Our driver had a difficult time finding the property. We suggest a look at better sign marking for anyone driving up the street.
