The owner and staff are the rudest I’ve EVER encountered. After being yelled at, belittled and hung up on. I canceled. They are harassing to the point I’d never feel comfortable staying. The filth just added

I would not recommend coming to this hotel. All the staff need to take customer service course. As soon we enter premises they were very rude. The room was extremely dirty.

The guy who runs the place is soooo nice. On the first night my electricity went out because I used the microwave. So he upgraded me to a nicer room.

I loved the owner and the staff. Very friendly and helpful.

The management was incredibaly helpful and were knowledgeable on things to do in the area. The hotel is by no means brand new but is kept clean and is maintained well they are very accommodating to their guests and management is on yop off keepingba toght ship a friendly atmosphere and a grill they keep gassed makes for a great spot to stay with friends

Shower curtain moldy. Floors dirty dusty blinds and ceiling fan. Just plain dirty

The room is absolutely nothing like what is pictured. Very disappointed. The location of the motel is perfect.

We thought this property was absolutely cute. It’s only a block from the beach. Hollywood Beach is a 2 1/2 mile walking path of shops and businesses and fun things to do. Peruvian food and Italian food seem to be the norm. We tried Peruvian. It was delicious. Ceviche. The owner lives on site and takes care of everything for you as needed.

Owner was unhappy with the price we paid through Expedia and then put us in a room on another property which we had to walk to with all our luggage in tow. The room was gross and falling apart. We didn’t even sleep under the covers. The tile in the bathroom floor was loose, the floor was sticky, the table was dirty. Luckily we only stayed for one night. Will not return. Do yourself a favour and pay the higher price for a better room somewhere else!

This place has so much potential if they'd step it up. GREAT location but everything is so cheap, the bare minimum, you can tell they do not CARE. Maids have no vacuums, they use brooms. Night 1, the noisiest room right on the street, unbearable. Walked in to the smell of strong mold, gagged me, found chewed gum on lamp stand, no coffee maker, no toiletries (shampoo, hair dryer, coffee maker, 55" TV--all advertised for this property), only a bar of soap, not even ice cube tray. Switched rooms, quieter but still dirty. Stains on sheets, dirty pans, bed bugs (I'm still itching). WiFi didn't work half the time, TV was NOT 55" (smaller) and staticky with barely any volume. Remote didn't turn TV on/off and maid (no English), motioned to just unplug cord from wall. Met a sweet gal from Sweden who gave me her ice tray, who was checking out at 2 pm and front desk refused to hold her luggage since check out was 11, I told her to put her luggage in my room and gave her my door code. She said OMG, that's my code too! so they use the same code for all the rooms!! What kind of security is that? Staff was rude and especially owner Enrico was an old grouch. The only nice one at front desk was Jody, but the rest all had attitudes. Enrico is awful, started yelling when I asked for an extra towel? He argued with everyone. I wish travel sites would not promote this place, he is making a boatload of $$ and people are being scammed! Pictures are fake and amenities are lies!

Our stay was fantastic, Enrico was a great host. We will be coming back to stay again!

No sofa as advertised. Photos were very misleading. Owner lied. They charged me parking and did not refund when I didn't even use their parking lot.

We loved the price… Near the boardwalk. I think it was just old, and needs a face lift. Room floor felt sandy and unclean. It was okay.

The manager is very rude to guest and staff. It is a great place to stay for cheap in a great location. But avoid the manager at all cost

There's only 2 things we liked about the place. The owner (which is very nice and friendly) and the walking distance to the boardwalk and beach. The room we stayed in was terrible. It was right beside the main road, so traffic all day and night was extremely noisy. The room was in need of major upgrades. The pictures online are simply wrong. The shower leaked onto the floor, the floors themselves were very dirty (we used paper towels with soap and water to clean what we could),the stove was from the 70s or earlier, the tv was mounted behind the bathroom door and the size was probably 30 inch or less. They tried to clean before we got into the room but they didnt use bleach, they used fabulouso. So the smell lingered. We used the room to keep our beach supplies in it for convenience, but slept at another place further inland. But the owner was really nice

Not too clean

This was a low-cost hotel so I wasn’t sure what to expect. I was concerned there would be excessive road noise, but that was not a problem. However once we had jackhammers at 5AM for 15-30 minutes and another time loud music at 3AM for maybe 8 songs. These aren’t the fault of the hotel but it might be more evident being at ground level. Otherwise, the noise was not a problem at all. The room smelled strongly of cleaning supplies, and was in fact a clean room. Except the thick plastic shower curtain that should be replaced for mold. The bed was surprisingly comfortable and I was delighted. Slept very well. There was a tv but you’ll have to sign in for your own accounts. The shower has power-wash power, but also gets everywhere. The biggest drawback is the office hours. The office has limited hours. I believe it was something like 11 to 8. We had a very early flight and had to kill a bunch of time before we could even talk to someone. And if you had a problem overnight for some reason, you would be out of luck. I believe there should be an emergency number and the hours should be clearly communicated to people when booking. One morning another family was standing around with their suitcases. It’s a bad experience that just needs communication so people can make arrangements or reach someone. I wouldn’t seek this place out per se. But I would stay again if the price was right.

Upon arriving at property, there were no rooms available S they had overbooked. We were sent to a different hotel where the room was in very bad conditions with outdated cabinets and furniture, pieces of the baseboards missing and what appeared to be mold on the walls. Also the desk manager was very rude when we found it necessary to call the front desk to ask for the wifi password to reset the internet in order for the television to work.

Received numerous calls (8) and text messages from the hotel warning me that the office closed at 9pm and we would not get our reserved room if we didn't arrive before then. Explained our flight was delayed by an hour and we were coming as quickly as possible. Arrived a few minutes after 9pm (sign on door listed business hours until 10pm) to a rude receptionist. She charged me $38 fee without explanation or receipt. Room had no warm water in shower and cockroaches. No key drop for after hours check out. Hotel has not responded to my requests for an explanation and receipt for $38 fee.

Don’t risk booking! We had a confirmed reservation made 4 months in advance. The morning of arrival, while we were waiting to board a flight, the hotel front desk called to tell us they were overbooked and didn’t have a room for us. Fortunately, Expedia found us a replacement, although we sat for a while at the FLL airport waiting for a resolution.
