at the end of the trip nothing

we have been deceived by the pictures and good ratings. staying in many 4 and 5 hotels this one does not meet any criteria: - rooms are starting to wore down. ours was damp and corrosion is visible - TV is not usable as all channels are blurry and snowy - quiet? definitely not. you’re living next to the airport. sound proof is little to nothing. you don’t hear landings but starts. remember the CNX operates pretty much all night long - walls are paper thin. you can heat your neighbors speaking, moving chairs etc - neighbors AC (attached outside) can be heard all night long - the WiFi is a joke. unstable and unusable for streaming or even regular sites. it breaks all the time. - you cannot open a window or go to the balcony - the pool is in shadow and has 3 sounds lounger. two in the water and one de facto on the street. accessibility is almost impossible. - bistro was closed at 7 pm although claiming that it is open until 9. - the „shuttle“ is not a shuttle, they drive you out of soi (400m) nothing more - you are 1,5 km away from the west gate and there you are practically no where - staff‘s English covers barely a minimum - and last but not least we were charged 200 baht for losing a room key. I have never ever experienced this anywhere. neither in Thailand or anywhere else. especially not when the cards are dirty and old. our trip in Chang Mai was definitely ruined by the hotel. we regret not pulling the plug earlier. even with all promotions offered by the hotel and booking you can find better and more sincere places in the city center.

Very modern, spacious rooms.

Bed was rock solid and so uncomfortable. No balcony and you cannot open the window. We called reception to query why the window was locked - they said none of the rooms have balconies or open windows because of ‘building restrictions.’ The pool looked nice but never got the sun so we never used it. Overall we would not stay here again.

Emplees are extremely kind and they are always smiling as every Thai person. The place is really beautiful and you can sleep in peace without noise. Breakfast is also super. It is close to airport.

Super noisy Fridge and A/C. No restaurant after 3 pm you have to walk 15-20min before finding restaurants. Poor breakfast.

The staff were very helpful. The hotel was clean and in a good condition. The staff were polite. The price was good.

The hotel location is far so you need a taxi everytime you want to go out. Also in the bathroom room there is a strange device. Every 20 seconds or 30 seconds, you will hear a noise coming from it. The hot water in the bath room was not stable, means a few seconds hot, and a few seconds normal.

Everything - the staff was the best, very accommodating and friendly beyond expectations. The room was amazing and so was the over all place
