Booking.com makes it seem easy enough, even to the point of saying you can change your non-refundable reservation, until you need to change it. Then, the sophomoric customer service hacks mock and hang up on you.

This entire experience, from calling the hotel, and their snarky attitude, to Booking.com's complacency and avoidance of any level of customer service, whatsoever.

Good location for our visit to Clarkston. Easy access and parking.

Clean, accommodating, pleasant and helpful staff, conveniently located with grocery stores, Walmart Starbucks, and many other businesses within walking distance. I travel for work, and have stayed in this Motel 6 on numerous occasions. The manager, as well as the other front desk staff are BEYOND polite, friendly, and overall helpful! I work night shifts, meaning I’m off work at 7AM, on one occasion I had to last-minute find a room to stay at; and although many hotels don’t let you check in until 3PM, they were so courteous to check me in at 8:30 AM!! For no extra charge. If it wasn’t for them I would’ve been stuck sleeping in my car. I will recommend them for anyone looking for a place to crash for a night or a few.

The only complaint I’d have is beyond their control, so I don’t fault the staff, but there’s occasional issues with the key-cards, once I had to get a different one set you because it didn’t work, and another time, even the staff member had to bring out a special device to unlock the door manually because he couldn’t get any card to work at all. But that’s a minor issue, and they were super quick to resolve it.

Affordable price

No non-pet rooms, but no noticeable odor or trace of pets in my room.

The reception desk staff were very helpful and pleasant.

The room we were first given had not been cleaned.

Location convenience

Room 138. Long-term Residents at the motel kept walking by my window and looking in repeatedly, didn't feel safe. Unable to see my vehicle(street parking) while drug deals were being made 8 feet from my window. Toilet seat fell off when I sat down. Mattress was old, just springs on a plywood platform. Slept awfully. Stayed 1 of two nights. Pool was being used as a bathtub.

You didn't have my reservation so I had to pay again.

The front desk staff was very friendly and welcoming.

The bedsheets were stained and scratchy, and the blanket had cigarette burns. The walls are very thin - I could hear someone snoring in the next room and people walking in the hallway. The pillows were not great either.
