The beds were nice and soft. That’s a plus in my book. The continental breakfast was not that good . It could have been because it was the off season. Only hot items was the waffles. The pool was bigger them most hotels I stayed at. And I liked the hot tub because it was attached to the pool so I can relax while my kid was in the pool. Kinda felt like we were the only ones there I only seen the front desk person once in my 2 night stay. But again it was the off season

Overall nice stay for what you are paying. Room was clean and check in staff was very nice. Side note, there is limited options for breakfast but waffles were good. The jacuzzi tube needed to be scrubbed due to old sedemient build up and there were some odars in the hall but did not effect the smell in the room. Very nice relaxing stay and seems like the owners keep up the maintenance of the place. Would come back again.

This hotel was very clean, very quiet and the staff are incredible!!! Went out of their way to provide service I would never expect from a hotel! We will definitely be staying here again!

Privacy was respected. Very comfortable. Roomy. Friendly staff. But.... back wooden swing was broke, couldnt use. Handicap parking needs to be expanded in back. The pool area shows mold or dirt in the windows up high, and green mold around the pool's inside edging needs to be cleaned. Other guests were messy with kitchen area, so it needs to be monitored during kitchen operating hours for cleaning , wiping tables, etc.

Room was very dirty. The bathroom especially, dirty sink, bathtub was filthy and had hair and you could see the water lines from someone’s previous bath. Our alarm clock was caked with something gunky. The bed sheets had stains everywhere. The metal bed frames made so much noise everytime you shifted in bed you’d think the bed would collapse. I woke up every couple hours because I was either sweating so bad or shivering because the room could not regulate its temp.

This place needs serious cleaning!! The carpets are being changed, but that's not enough!! The bathroom/shower was dirty!! The room was stinking! The front desk staff were not available! The drinking water fountain in the lobby is dirty!

Management at from desk was very helpful and fast and the man who helped with my bags was very nice and kind and fast working. Great place to stay and I would definitely go back and recommend it to family and friends! Room was very comfortable and quiet and very clean!

The staff was excellent and very clean. They are undergoing a huge renovation. Carpet & painting done but not headboards, tables, nightstands, bathroom etc. There was piles of carpet outside with a huge pile of paper used for masking off for painting. Breakfast was average also.

My wife and I had a really good stay. Our king-sized bed was comfortable, everything was clean, the ac/heat worked great. However, my daughter who stayed in a separate room, and to switch rooms because she said the quilts/bedding was 'dirty/stained'....and the room she was given also had 'issues' with the bed covers. The sheets were very clean however. Also, I had little to NONE hot water when I was showering late at night, and the tub's drain wasn't working well (these last two things I reported to the person at the desk). She was VERY helpful and understanding of the issues within my room, and tried to get a 'cleaner' room for my daughter. Oh, and the breakfast was really good - although we could have used some bananas instead of apples for the fruit. Finally, the coffee was very good - unlike MOST hotels I've stayed at in Northern Michigan!!

We absolutely love the staff here and it’s our favorite hotel in the area, we always stay here when we want a nice getaway! The staff are such friendly helpful people always very nice to see them.

We LOVED this hotel! Clean, near the highway, but without highway noise, large room, comfortable bed with plenty of pillows, fridge, microwave, snacks available in the lobby...even the indoor pool wasn't too cold! If we travel back to the area, THIS is where we'll stay! Thank you!
