We had a wonderful stay! Roberta will spoil you with fresh pastries that she bakes herself ever day!

Above and Beyond any expectations my wife and I had. Roberta the owner is a truly one of a kind person, extremely warm and friendly, and truly wants you to have the time of your life while you stay at her property. Property itself is a three minute walk to beach if you can actually leave such an amazing place to stay. Mondello was the highlight of our trip to Sicily and we will never forget the kindness and warmth Roberta shared with us , as if we’re Family; and the breakfast spread was fit for a King and Queen!! And the Cannoli pie was to die for!!!

Great location and breakfast

Roberta was an excellent hostess, warm, welcoming and extremely helpful re local facilities, restaurants, tours etc. She was happy to book restaurants, tours, airport transport. It was like a home away from home - beautiful breakfast with amazing homemade cakes (made daily by Roberta), served on the terrace of this gorgeous villa. Our room had every facility, including very good aircon. It was spacious and bright, tastefully decorated, with a very comfortable bed, minibar, tea making facilities. Lovely ensuite bathroom, plus spacious balcony also. With its location close to the beach and restaurants, BB Mondello Design is a wonderful place for a relaxed getaway. Roberta organised tours for us with Adriano, who took us to Monreale, Cefalù, Segesta, Erice and Trapani over two days, giving us a real insight into the history, culture and scenic beauty of North Eastern Sicily. Very welcoming and informative about the area!

Our hostess was excellent! She was very welcoming and accommodating. At check in she was there to greet us with a lot of useful information about the area. Breakfast was very good and her cakes that she bakes daily are delicious! The property was clean and comfortable. I would recommend this B&B to my family and friends.

Roberta is a charismatic and knowledgeable owner. The place is clean and modern throughout. Beautiful beach nearby. Breakfast is excellent with Roberta’s homemade pastries and excellent eggs!

Owner Roberta was so engaged, helpful and energetic. You could see she loved her business and each customer. Parking can be challenging, but within walking distance to nice beaches.

Roberta was a lovely host and gave us good recommendations for food and activities. The annex room was large, quiet and comfortable. Her place was a short walk to the beach. We really enjoyed our stay.

Roberta has been an amazing hostess. She was extremely helpful and flexible. Our flight was delayed, and Roberta had to welcome us quite late. Nonetheless, next morning, she got up early to bake her mouth-watering cakes and biscuits that were served for breakfast. Every morning you are in for a surprise! Roberta advised us on sightseeing choices, transportation, and car rental. We have been very thankful. The mattress was extremely comfortable, and I am still wondering where to buy the same pillows - I had tried memory foam, down, feather - you name it, but the pillows at that property were really the most comfortable pillows of my life. It was a wonderful stay

We vacationed during the very low season, our first two nights on a couples’ road trip across Sicily. Roberta had our rooms ready early, and a homemade dessert waiting. She gave us a complimentary upgrade to the front sunny room, as we were the only guests at the time. We liked the daily homemade cakes at breakfast in the sunny, white breakfast room and appreciated her recommendations. Easy to contact via Whatsapp. We enjoyed our time in Mondello, taking the local bus to Palermo so we didn’t have to worry about parking the car. Street parking is available at Roberta’s and she can also let you park inside the gate, space enough for possibly three small cars. Bed was among the best ones we had by Sicily’s standards — a true double bed (i.e. not a crack with two pushed-together twin beds).

We had such an amazing time during our stay in Mondello - Sicily. By far B&B Mondello design is the best choice for those who wish to have a TOP NOTCH service. The rooms are very comfortable, clean and very stylish as well. Not to mention our host Roberta who is always very kind, very helpful and very smiling!
