Second time traveling with high school friends to tokyo and Mimaru is best choice for this group.

Convince. 1 min walk to train station. Easy access to Tokyo Skytree, which has tons of shopping and dinning options. Close by Asakusa Temple. You can go there any time to skip the crowds.
Rooms are clean and a washing machine in the room. You don’t need to pack to many clothes and leave room for all the stuffs you buy in Japan

We stayed at the Japanese style suit. The room is well equipped for family of 5 and we loved the washer/dryer in the room. The hotel is 2 min away from the subway station, 7 eleven, and Nakamise.

It’s a great place to stay and cover all the local attractions. It’s a walkable distance to all the stores, restaurants , shopping and temples . The hotel is very clean, spacious, and very safe. The staff was amazing especially Ms. Windi who went out of her way to help us and keep us comfortable. The staff was amazing , they always helped us plan our trips with arranging Taxis , luggage transport etc. best place we ever stayed in any country so far. A special shoutout to Ms. Windi at the front desk.

The room is very clean and comfortable. It is near the Asakusa station but the sound proofing of the room is good so it is quiet. Walking distance to Sensoji and many eateries around the hotel.

Great spacious place. A little bit of a walk from the Keikyu line station (had two little kids) but many restaurants and eateries closeby and a convenience store round the corner. Near Sumida river is a small playground (near tully's) that my kids enjoyed.

The location is very convenient with lots of places to eat and shop. We checked in on Feb 15, 2024 and met a male staff member from Taiwan who was very helpful in solving our problems. We checked out on Feb 20, 2024 and left our luggage at the hotel and when we were scheduled to pick it up they had it ready and waiting for us on the roof. They took care of all the details. Our room was on the 11th floor with a beautiful view of the SKYTREE and the Sumida River. Other than the pillows being too soft to sleep on, the room was very nice and highly recommended. We will stay again next time.

Fun and convenient location. Train station within 3 min walk. Great option for families who wants to stay together. Rooms were clean and space to gather. Felt more like an apartment than a hotel room but with front desk. Would recommend.

We stayed here for a month, and it was a great experience. Very large, clean, and modern rooms, and we even got one with a Skytree view! It is not a normal hotel, but more like a luxurious apartment with hotel services. I feel this hotel offers more services than most hotels I have stayed at. Even though the hotel itself is great, it is really the staff that is greatest here. They are super competent and helpful, always willing to help you if you have a problem or just a question. Thank you for a great experience!

Such a great place to stay! It quickly became our home for our 2 weeks in Tokyo. The staff was amazingly friendly and helpful!!!
Just a couple of suggestions:
- The English translation of the instructions for the washer/dryer could use some elaboration.
- It was nice having the projector in our suite, but we never got anything except youtube working. Some way to cast videos from a smartphone would really be great.

Spacious for family of 6. Lots of room, very clean, helpful and friendly staff, many amenities including slippers, facial cleansers, razors, pyjamas upon request. Beautiful, clean hotel in a safe neighborhood and close to subway station. We look forward to staying here again. Thank you for a wonderful stay!

Great hotel. Convenient location in Asakusa. Very spacious and the in unit laundry was great for our extended stay. Only two negatives were 1) lack of curtains on windows and 2) the mattresses were a little too soft.

Without doubt the best Hotel I have ever stayed in across the globe! Incredibly helpful, courteous, possessed of great local knowledge and recommendation, good humored, and kind staff that went out of their way to make sure our stay was perfect. I cannot conceive of anything that the Reservation, Housekeeping and management wouldn’t have been willing to undertake to guarantee the ultimate travel experience. I look forward to staying with them again and thank them all so much for giving us the holiday of a lifetime.

Great location in Tokyo, nice new property 5 minutes from train station. My room had the view of the Tokyo Skytree!!
Many amenities including washer and dryer in property.
Although Expedia description of the property was incorrect (the room we booked- Family theatre room did not have 2 toilets - it has 2 complete bathroom and only 1 toilet.
Property is big enough for Japan standards - much better than the other hotels I stayed in Osaka.
One issue was they only cleaned the room only 1 time during our 6 night stay. They did empty the trash and replaced towels daily.
When we asked to clean the room (accidentally dropped some juice in one of the beds) they charged us to clean the room. This is the reason for a 4 star review.
One staff really stood out.
Risa is an amazing staff for Mimaru, she was very helpful and kind.

We stayed at Mimaru Suites Tokyo Asakusa twice on our recent trip to Japan, once at the beginning and once at the end. We loved how close it was to Sensoji and the surrounding market. There were tons of places to eat in the market, and a grocery just steps away in the lower level of Ekimise. There's also a Starbucks and a great breakfast place, the Suke6 Diner, a short walk away. Asakusa Station is also quite convenient. The property itself was perfect for our needs (2 adults and 2 teens), with a nice shared living space and two bedrooms and baths in our suite. Although it is close to the train tracks, the hotel was quite quiet, and we had no noise from adjoining rooms or those above or below us. The staff were lovely, and all of them spoke English well, which was helpful for us as we speak very little Japanese. I would highly recommend this hotel in particular and the Mimaru chain in general to families traveling to Tokyo.

Mimaru Suites Tokyo Asakusa was the perfect hotel for our party of 8 including 4 kids under 9 years old. The 2 bedroom Japanese suite was spacious and very modern with 2 full bathrooms, kitchen and dining area, washer/dryer and an extra tatami room with futons where our two older kids slept. The location was a minute walk to the Asakusa Station making it convenient to catch the subway. Many activities in the area for the kids including Tokyo's oldest amusement park with rides and roller coaster and outdoor play area within a 5 minute walk. Our kids played at the park every day. The Sky Tree Express was a 3 minute train ride away. Many restauraunts and shoppnig within walking distance. The friendly and helpful hotel staff made our stay extra special!!! They all speak English if you don't speak Japanese. Highly recommended!
