having the whole house to ourselves was great, and hidden away at the back so couldnt hear any traffic or noise from the high street

Couldn’t get mainstream channels on the TV, it was cold downstairs and warmer upstairs and a strange smell on the landing but very faint so wasn't unbearable, wifi wasnt the best it kept disconnecting i believe it was a data box as the signal in that area was very poor

excellent location

The only problem we found was a little noisy as it’s next door to a pub. The sofa was very small and uncomfortable. so we couldn’t relax and watch the tv

Great sized space - bigger than expected. Great value for money. The host was communicative and happy to help. Free parking was useful

Nitpicking but a table or a bit more space to prep food on in kitchen. Another/larger sofa in the living area so more than 2 people can sit on it.

the property was exceptionally clean.

Access to the property was up steps behind a a pub which was noisy over the weekend. The property was extremely cold on arrival and was far from cosy. lacked basic equipment. no cups to make a drink. only 1 very large saucepan. no bath mat in shower room for the floor. no hand towels only face cloth and bath towels. no tea towel. fortunately we were visiting our son so able to sort ourselves out. Asda was a minute away to buy cups. nothing serious enough to contact the owner but things he could rectify.

We did not have breakfast at the property also couldn't have a coffee or tea as there were no mugs or cups at the property

Nothing really had an enjoyable stay apart from no cups
