This listing is newly renovated and immaculate. No bugs, smell, or other sanitary issues. Plenty of towels, bed sheets, etc. Gail is an incredible host. She also provides access to the Marriot complex next to the property, as well as passes to Sea Pines. The walk-way to the beach is easy and this part of the beach in Hilton Head is less crowded. Would definitely stay again!

The property was perfect for our little family! We were just steps from the beach, and we took full advantage of the Marriott amenities next door! The owners were lovely to work with and made sure we were comfortable throughout our stay! We will definitely be back!

I can't say enough about our week in this unit. The hosts communicated great, and the home was even nicer than we expected. The location was perfect and having access to the Marriott facilities was an added bonus. We are looking forward to staying here again!

We had a great week staying at this property. We enjoyed all of the amenities, location, Marriott access. Owners were great to work with and very helpful. We will definitely come back and stay here again.

My wife and I along with our 12 and 7 y/o and mother and father in-law stayed the week here. Perfect location for hanging at the beach or going out on the town. The Marriott amenities make this setting even more accommodating with the pools and bar/grill within 200ft of your door. Gail was a super helpful and friendly host and went out of her way to make us comfortable. Stay here and you won't regret it, we will stay here again for sure.

Steps to the beach and the Marriott pools. New and very clean home, parking right outside the front door. Keyless doorknob is great. Lounges and umbrellas for rent on the beach. Lifeguard on duty 9:00-5:00. Esay bike rides to many attractions. We will be back. Gail is GREAT! Thanks

This property is amazing! The proximity to the beach and hotel pools cannot be beat, only a hundred yards or so. The house is great and has everything you could need, including beach chairs and beach towels. Gail and Michael are great hosts and are easily reached if needed. We look forward to our next vacation with them!

Everything was perfect! The home was clean, comfortable and location couldn’t be better! Gail is an excellent host, she was very friendly and helpful. The passes to the neighboring Marriott resort were much appreciated, the pools were great. The beach is a very short easy walk. This is a great place for a family vacation. We hope to return in the future! Thanks again Gail for a great stay, we appreciated everything!

This location is wonderful! Being able to use the amenities at the Marriott next door was perfect. The zero entry kids pool and lazy river was ideal for our young children, and it was so nice having a bar/food spot next door. The kids really loved when they had a s’mores night! Beach access is right there and the beach is less busy than some other areas, which we appreciated. The host provided everything we could need, and the condo is comfortable and beautifully updated. The only con I can think of is we really needed curtains because the bedrooms are quite bright in the early morning.

Excellent location. A minute from the beach and right across the street from a hotel pool. My kids loved going between the two. The house is clean and comfortable. It’s our second time in this house and we plan to return next year!

From the moment we arrived, we were welcomed with hospitality. The location couldn’t be better, as it’s right off the beach. The property itself is recently remodeled and beautifully done with top tier appliances. Dishes and food storage was more than sufficient. I’ve only been home two days and am already looking forward to coming back!

My mom, husband, sister and I stayed for a long weekend and it was wonderful! Very clean and a very short walk to the beach from the patio. It had convenient parking, good appliances and small amenities (e.g. small soaps, laundry detergent, etc...) that were very much appreciated. The owner was extremely friendly and accomodating - would recommend!

Upon arrival Gail did a great job of making us feel welcome for our week in Hilton Head. She took the time to give us the lay of the land and even had access to the Marriott next door which includes the pools, hot tubs, and work out facility which was great. The location of the property is phenomenal with just a quick walk right out the back to access the beach. If you stay you need to check out the sunrises in the morning! Would highly recommend!

We had an excellent vacation at 4 Alder Lane! The location is steps away from the beach. The ability to use the Marriott Vacation Club pools was a huge bonus. Very close to premium golf at Sea Pines resort. Great bike trails close by. Very modern features within the home. Gail is super friendly and very helpful/responsive if you need anything. I would recommend this VRBO to anyone looking for a fabulous Hilton Head vacation!

Condo was perfect location to walk to the beach or Marriott next door! Just a few steps away! Condo was very clean and well appointed! The host , Gail was amazing! We will definitely return!

This is the definition of lipstick on a pig. The exterior was poor and being renovated and a new construction was happening to the a house next door. That information was dropped on us in a text the night before by the property owner, "Also, excuse the outside as we are renovating". In the 45 minutes we were on the property, the pounding and hammering did not cease. As we entered the property the smell of mold struck us off the bat. Not surprising with winter moisture and many exterior cracks in the house. The back door was being held shut by the washing machine with the door knob falling off. Over the kitchen sink, there was an electric wire that was exposed. The pictures are relatively accurate on the interior but there is a reason there are no exterior pictures. Also the building and renovations the owner texted us about should have been disclosed. We asked the owner for a refund in which they told us to deal with VRBO to no success...so at this point other courses of action is our only remedy.

Do not hesitate and book this property now! The location is fantastic - the beach is just a few steps away, it is right next to the Marriott Vacation Club which you will have access too, and it is a short bike ride to Coligny Plaza. Also - I cannot say enough about the owners who live upstairs. Gail greeted us upon arrival and gave us a tour of the amenities at the Marriott and was full of recommendations. She and Mike are the friendliest, most helpful couple. We thoroughly enjoyed our trip and would highly recommend 4 Alder Lane.

THIS IS A MUST STAY PROPERTY! A nice home one house from the beach. We arrived a bit after 4 PM. Mike and Gail (own the home and live on the upper floors) greeted us and let us know about the area and the amenities provided with the rental. When we walked into the apartment it was clean, cool and cool! Tile floors that look like wood, granite and marble in the kitchen - great appliances, 2 extra large TVs and the most comfortable beds. We used two of the bed rooms - leaving the room with the full sized bunk beds as a place to store things not frequently used. This home is one house back from the beach and is adjacent to the Marriott Vacation Resort - Mike and Gail had the great presence of mind to work with the resort to allow their guests to use the facilities - numerous pools, fitness center, hammocks, shuffle board and bocce and access to the beach bar. Made a great property even that much more so. This home is less than a mile from Coligny or the Sea Pines Ocean Gate. Extremely convenient to shops and restaurants - walkable, bikeable or by car. Cannot say enough about how great Mike and Gail were. Available when needed but always gave us our personal space. They are truly nice and gracious people who made our two week stay better. A few things to keep in mind: Follow the directions provided by Host 2 Coast for accessing the home - it is one short block past Alder Lane -that makes all the difference. Listen to Gail when she says that you have to go to the beach to see the sunrise - it is worth getting up early at least one day of your stay. I only wish that I did it the entirety of our stay and not just the morning we were leaving. Definitely make reservations in advance for sunset dinner at the Quarter Deck in Harbor Town - food is good but the sunset views are fantastic. Bring or rent bikes to get around - HHI is a casual bike riders delight.

This property is a stone’s throw from the beach with a nice paved walk path to it right next to the house. The property owner’s, Michael and Gail, live upstairs and are super friendly and hospitable. We spoke with them almost every day, usually giving us great restaurant recommendations, and they always asked if we needed anything else, which we did not as they have the house well stocked for what you would need for a rental. They also would give us passes to the resort next door, which had 4 heated pools, several hot tubs and many activities that are great for little kids. We found ourselves going to the little putting green daily. There is also a poolside bar adjacent to the walk path to the beach and the resort. The house has two nice bathrooms, three large bedrooms, one with a bunk bed. This is a very comfortable stay for 6 people. Coligney is only a 3 minute drive down the road and the opposite direction is the southern entrance to Sea Pines. The location of this house was perfect for trips to Harbour town, Coligney, morning walks on the beach at sunrise. We will definitely stay here again!
