Friendly staff, beautiful gardens, well-located
The air conditioners were very loud, made it difficult to sleep at night. The kitchen could use some renovation.

The property was great and the rooms were comfortable. Eddie and his son Luca took great care of us.

Eddie and staff could not have been more helpful . Food was out of this world. Rooms and grounds were spotless. They got right back to us with any questions and had great recommendations for day trips
This is really minor but a little more lighting in kitchen would be nice.

Room ambience, nature around and helpful host. The hotel is in classic Italian style. There is a lot of fruit trees and wineyard.

Centrally located and a good base to explore Umbria. The estate is beautiful, tranquil and safe. The hosts provided great recommendations that were extremely useful for a first timer in Umbria. They were hospitable and made every guest feel welcomed. The restaurant has great food and staff.
It was a pity that the pool was not open but this was due to the weather.

Very enjoyable stay! Beautiful place. Lovely staff, Eddie was very helpful. The chef held a very high standard. Very good food priced reasonably.
The ac didn't work but there was a fan which was fine the room was a little dusty but nothing too egregious.

Restaurant was excellent, using ingredients from the agriturismo - you cannot get fresher than that! Chef is very talented and all for a good price. One of my favourite meals of my trip!

Nice little studio apartment, right by the parking so not far to carry bags.
We only had a 1 night stop before flying home, but there was everything you would need for a base to properly explore the area.
Eddie was very pleasant and helpful, despite having to deal with us querying the payment request! Booking.com had already taken payment when they shouldn't have so we had to pay again. Booking.com customer services promised to refund.
we are still waiting for a refund for the double payment from booking.com that they told us we would get 4 weeks ago! Customer services email said it would take 10-15 business days to process a refund.. strangely to take your card payment is instant!!

It is a beautiful property in a relaxing location and close to Assisi. Eddie was very helpful, gave us a lot of recommendations and organised a cooking class for us with Franca which was very good. We had dinner in a restaurant which was excellent. We had a lovely time there. Thanks Eddie for making our stay special.

very clean, comfortable apartment with full facilities despite being a 200 year-old home. much appreciate the hot water shower and heater. a quaint countryside home with well maintained grounds. Eddie the host was by obliging and took time to give my family of 5 a history of the property as well as a brief of the must see sights in Assisi.

Very quiet in the middle of the week. Free breakfast. Rooms clean.

We had stayed here 13 years ago at the same time of year. Perhaps I was disappointed that it rained the whole tome of our stay and we were the only guests. The cooking facilities in terms of the stove, fridge and dishwasher were almost new and lovely but for us to cook, there were no essentials to get started like salt,pepper, oil. Since we were only there for 3 days, it didn’t make sense to go out and buy them.The staff were wonderful and caring.
The weather but, of course, that was not the fault of La Fornace.If
