The house was absolutely beautiful, the view was spectacular, and our hosts were wonderful!! If you are looking for the perfect vacation home, this is the one.

What a beautiful house! The pictures on VRBO do not do it justice. It was very clean, beautifully decorated, very spacious and comfortable! We were blown away by how well stocked and organized the kitchen is… Loved all the labels on the cabinets! For a long time, I’ve dreamed of getting a big group of friends together at a lake house, where we can sit around a fire pit, drink wine, cook together and play games. This house was absolutely perfect for it and we all want to come back every year! My husband and I were celebrating our 16-yr anniversary. We all made some really great memories. Thank you, Vickie!

As spectacular as the photos on the VRBO website of this house and property are, they pale in comparison to how truly spectacular they are in person! From the moment we drove up to the property and the home, my entire family were all blown away. Everything was just perfect...clean, spacious, comfortable, well stocked, inviting... we lacked for nothing. The hosts really went out of their way to make sure we were well taken care of for the entire 8 days we were there. We especially loved the pool and hot tub and the space around them... bathroom and refrigerator downstairs so we didn't have to run through the house, plenty of swim towels provided. My husband loved the weight room and we all enjoyed the ping-pong. Kitchen incredibly well organized, plenty of towels in the bathrooms (and hooks to hang up wet towels,I love that), comfortable beds, no problem with water pressure or temperature, great chairs to rock in on the front porch....I could go on and on. It was really a very nice, relaxing vacation due in large part to the home, property and the hosts. I definitely recommend this property 100%. We were very pleased with the house and property and enjoyed our stay. We were particularly impressed by the thoughtfulness of the owner -- small things such as labelling all the cabinets and light switches made it easy to find our way around, and the owner was very responsive and friendly whenever we contacted her. The game room and pool gave the kids lots to do, especially in the heat of summer. And the grandparents could overlook the pool from the bay windows in the main floor master bedroom when they preferred to say in the AC. The house was well-stocked with what we needed (plenty of towels, cooking equipment, etc).

Vickie, thank you for sharing your Canyon Lake home with us. The house was perfect for our family vacation (7 adults and 4 children). The pool, shaded cover, and game area were a perfect way to escape from the Texas heat during the day. Our grandchildren enjoyed going on walks around the property and seeing the mama deer and their babies in the mornings and evenings. The fire pit was great way to end the day with evening smores (Vickie even had roasting sticks for the marshmallows). The host has included everything you need to make your stay enjoyable. The labels and signage make everything so easy to find and access. We stopped at the HEB in Wimberley the first evening and cooked all our meals at the house. The kitchen was well stocked and had everything we needed for our meals. The guys even used the outdoor grill a couple of times. I highly recommend renting a boat during your stay. We enjoyed seeing Canyon Lake and cooling off in the water. Most of all we enjoyed making new memories as a family!

Vickie and Ken, we had an amazing stay at your Canyon Lake home during the week of June 3-7, 2023. The home allowed us to sleep 14 people. The house & outside (several acres) were perfect for our group. The fire pit area (and wood volume) was awesome for sitting/visiting around the campfire and for making smores! And WOW! What a picturesque view from your house to the lake. It was perfect for taking family pictures to remember our stay. The lake was absolutely gorgeous blue and clear! We had a great time renting a double decker boat w/slide and finding some quiet coves to hang out and swim. Since we are an active and competitive group, the separate building with the total gym,16 ft Shuffleboard, ping pong table, dart board, and speaker system (for anyone to connect their cell phone and listen to their preferred music) kept everyone happy & entertained. Outside we had many take advantage of the hammock, corn hole and your gorgeous pool & spa. Thank you for always being available (day and night) to turn on the spa remotely whenever people wanted to take a spa break! Plus, thank you for the extra bath & beach towels and cell phone chargers for our use. We love to cook, so having all the kitchen drawers and cabinets labeled w/ what's in them was extremely helpful. I can't think of anything that was missing that we needed during our stay. The big surprise was the large back porch w/ sitting area & tables "undercover" next to the pool! We LOVED our time there! This was a great property for our annual family vacation! The home and property are absolutely beautiful! There was plenty of room for our family of 10 adults and 4 children under 4. The owner thought of everything from a fully stocked kitchen, to kid toys/cribs/playpens and Phone chargers!! We will be returning! We will return!!

The home was lovely, very organized and had everything we needed for adults and teenagers!
