Such a cozy cabin with all the comforts of home. Warm fireplace, clean hot tub outside and such a comfortable place. The owners thought of everything to make your stay enjoyable. Sitting on the porch and watching the leaves fall and seeing the deer jump around on the property were just great, so relaxing! Cabin was immaculately clean. Can’t wait to return someday soon!

This cabin was the perfect place for a relaxing get away with my wife. She loved the cabi so much she did not want to leave. The lighted Christmas tree was a wonderful touch. The whole cabin was perfect. The view and sounds of the stream off the back porch were truly relaxing.

Trully amazing cabin near Boone, perfect for two couples. Had a blast building almost all the puzzles they had. Great location as well only 15 min away from DT Boone.

We enjoyed our stay at this charming cabin. It is just perfect. Rustic, but updated. Had everything we needed. We loved the creek and our dogs loved exploring around it. Nice little walk to the pond also. Not hard to get to the house. Curvy roads but well maintained (even gravel road). Very quiet and private. Beds and pillows were very comfortable. Amber and Emily were a real pleasure to work with at the rental agency. Incredibly helpful and friendly. Great communication. Our cabin was ready about two hours early and they called to let us know which was perfect since we had just arrived in the area. Cabin is convenient to Banner Elk and Boone. The only suggestions I would make is maybe an end table beside the couch with a lamp for reading and placing a cup and an ottoman or footstools. Furniture was very comfortable though. Nice touch with the Keurig and pods and also grinder with beans. Wouldn’t hesitate to rent here again.

It was a short run to the Mast Store in Valle Crucis and was not far from Boone. Soothing Waters was on a small creek that you could hear from the porch- very relaxing! It was in a wooded area- no neighboring cabins were up under us. The cabin was very clean and had everything we needed...nice hot tub, too! We enjoyed seeing the deer and adorable chipmunks. Also, Emily and other staff were a pleasure to work with!

We really enjoyed our stay at Soothing Waters. The cabin was very clean & we felt at home while staying. We had our 2 dogs with us & there are great places to walk them. We also fell in love with the area. In the hustle of today's life this was an amazingly perfect place to get back to nature!!

This cabin is absolutely perfect! It was exceptionally clean and I am very picky when I comment on cleanliness but this cabin was spotless. It is well stocked with all you need. Each bedroom has its own bathroom and there is a sofa upstairs as well that could offer additional sleeping. The hot tub was wonderful and very clean. It has a wonderful little creek and fire pit area behind the cabin. There is a pond area that is catch and release that is only a brief walk down the driveway at the entrance to the Little Bavaria community. It is close to Boone, Blowing Rock, Grandfather mountain and it is only 30 min from Linville Falls. There are access points to the Blue Ridge parkway nearby as well. We had a wonderful weekend trip here and will definitely be back!!

We love the location and having a dog this is a great location to walk the dog and take to Valle Crucis Community Park is a great perk. Easy to get to Boone for great restaurants. The only negative comment is the mattress on both beds are very soft and uncomfortable. For an extended stay over 1 week, the mattress was tough on the back. Wish the owners would invest in a new mattress.

We had another great vacation and this cute and peaceful cabin. The kids loved catching crayfish and fishing in the pond. We enjoyed a family horseback ride at a farm just minutes from the cabin and loved how close this was to all the activities in Boone and Blowing Rock. We'll be back for sure!

They had plenty of towels and cooking necessities. The small creek and fire pit in the back was one of our favorite places to hang out! Our only complaints were that the house was on a gravel road, the washing machine was super noisy and the beds were a bit softer than we prefer. We would also recommend the rental office put lock boxes on the either the front or back door to make it much easier and more accommodating to checking in and out.

Cabin itself is perfect--clean & comfy! Check in: Having to go to a rental office is not convenient for checking in and definitely not for checking out. We arrived at 2:45 and were told we were "super early". Our VRBO confirmation said 3pm check in and that is what we went by to plan our drive/arrival. However, don't believe that--the rental contract states 4pm, and that is what it is. We had to kill over an hour with 2 restless dogs after a long drive. We were then given the wrong envelope entirely to the wrong property, but were able to go back in and fix it quickly after they called. Two things we were completely unaware of: Just atop the far bank of the tranquil creek, is a road. It is not a busy highway, but quite a busy throughfare this time of year. I wasn't expecting to watch and hear cars go by all day long. Next (and most concerning) was the construction taking place directly next door. We wanted to just listen to the creek and the birds all day a few of our days, but instead listened to VERY LOUD heavy machines jack hammering rock and cutting in a drive. It turned our "soothing" stay into a not so soothing one...starting at 8am and going until early evening. Of course, this is by no means the fault of the property owner itself, but it did diminish our level of enjoyment of the property. When all of that wasn't going on, we did enjoy the creek and a nice fire a few nights as well as the hot tub, grill, and coffee! The dogs had a blast playing in the creek. I can't say enough about how nice the cabin itself is--just perfect! It just would have been so much better without all of the extraneous activity...just bad timing, I guess. We only turned the TV on once and finally figured out the volume buttons are on the SIDE of the remote. Be sure to turn the light on down at the creek at night for a very nice ambiance! Also, I was absolutely tickled that DoorDash and Instacart both delivered here! We had t-bones for the grill, Panera, and Applebees brought right to our door. Instacart even delivered beer!!

Immacualte. Beautiful property inside and out. It was better than expected! The best part was..... the owners LOVE coffee and they have the very best coffee waitng for you. No matter what your taste in coffee is, they have it covered. If you stop for anything before checking in, stop and get your favorite creamer! If creamer wasn't persihable, I'm sure they would provide that too. This cabin is perfect in every way! The smallest details have been taken care of, whether you want a cozy blanket to snuggle on the couch with or a towel for the hot tub, they have those details nailed down. We cannot wait to return!

My husband and I stayed here with my sister and her husband for 2 nights. We loved our stay, so much so that we never ventured out! We enjoyed the hot tub and sitting by the creek. We grilled some wonderful meals on the awesome Weber grill. The house is the perfect size with a great layout and all the amenities you could need. Can’t wait to come back for another relaxing time at Soothing Waters.

Three of us and our beagle spent a wonderful week at this cabin. It was exceptionally clean and the kitchen is very well stocked. The master bath is beautiful and the rain shower is so relaxing. It was so nice to sit on the porch or in the hot tub and listen to the waterfall. We were so excited to see a bobcat on our second morning and saw deer in the neighborhood everyday. The employees at Valle Crucis Log Cabins are so helpful and friendly. You can not go wrong renting this cabin we are already making plans to go back.
