Our group of nine just returned from five relaxing and fun-filled days at The Retreat in Possum Kingdom, Texas. Cabin 17 was spacious enough for our large group, comfortable in every way, spotlessly clean, and exactly what we had hoped for. The area is quiet, secluded, and beautiful. We were able to enjoy a nice view of the lake from the large back patio. Every morning and evening a lovely doe would come from the backyard forest to say "hello", and the birds continuously provided us with beautiful music. The spacious swimming pool was sparkling clean and such an added treat. We were all surprised at how quiet and perfect this spot was for our vacation. We will definitely book this cabin again!

Perfect for what we needed! Even has a view of the lake! The cabin is exactly as pictured! We really enjoyed our stay! Had a maintenance issue and the staff was attentive and took care of us. We look forward to staying again!

I have always been to these cabins growing up! They are recently remodeled and beautiful! They now have a pool on-site with a beautiful lake view

Great location and the cabin is exactly as advertised. Management answered the phone when we called about a maintenance issue and we were please with the fast courteous response! Can’t wait to come back!!

Nice area but looked more secluded online but wasn’t. Also wasn’t the cleanest and needed TVs in the other rooms like most other places so that the kids could watch those.
Outside area was very dirty and could not use.
