Good base for exploring.

Really enjoyed our week at the property. It’s a lovely clean and spacious apartment with everything you would need to enjoy a relaxing week away. The kitchen is very well equipped and the property gets lots of light. The easy street parking and elevator makes everything very easy. The area is gorgeous with fantastic beaches and stunning scenery as well as several excellent local restaurants. We would definitely recommend !

O Vicedo is well situated for exploring the region and also has lovely sandy beaches in the near vicinity. Praia de Arealonga was our favourite beach, being less populated in the holiday season. The restaurants in the town were excellent value for money as well as providing great food (Os Cruces and La Bodeguita del Puerto being our favourites). The local supermarket provided everything for one's needs . The apartment was well furnished, spotlessly clean and ideal for our stay. Overall we had a lovely time in and around O Vicedo.

Great spacious apartment with lots of light and cool breezes. We had originally planned to stay 4 days, but extended our visit. Arrangements were perfect, apartment clean and outfitted with almost everything you would need. The view did not face the sea-but we loved looking out on the fields and houses. No problems whatsoever.

Excellent - perfect home from home! Would highly recommend to both couples and families.

This is a very clean and spacious new build apartment with all equipment that you need. There was plenty of space for our children. We had no problems at all during our stay. The location offers easy access to beaches and the best fish restaurant in town at the harbour is within easy walking distance. O Vicedo itself does not have much to offer (and it seems to have a strange micro-climate at some times!), but it is well placed to explore the northern Galician coast. Viveiro is about 20 minutes drive away and is a very pleasant place to explore and eat. There is a reasonable supermarket within 200m and Viveiro has everything else you might need. Arrangements for arrival and departure were easy. Overall we had a good experience and the apartment is fairly good value for money.

Our stay in Galicia was met with rather inclement weather however this lovely apartment made our stay very comfortable.Key collection was easy call Acezuna and she is there within 5 minutes . Immaculate all the way through with everything one would need .There is an excellent WiFi service here..had to reboot at it first but then ok for the duration of our stay It is situated on the edge of the village but only a hundred metres away from shops and bars..Opposite is a smallholding which is a hive of activity. It has a naughty goat, cows, sheep, geese and cats. The local fish shop seems to have been closed for a while so we went to the local supermarket where they have a fresh fish counter. There are several other shops including a hairdressers, fishing tackle shop, ironmongers and butchers. There are lots of nice walks to various little coves best one of which was Xilloi which can be walked to in 30 minutes or is a short drive out of the village. All in all a great place as a base for exploring the region .We will definitely book here again

We arrived quite late at night (approx 11pm) and the arrangements for getting the key worked well. The apartment has plenty of space for a family and the two bathrooms are a godsend! All the facilities are as described and our two weeks stay went very well. We enjoyed total privacy during our stay, but support and help was available via email and phone if needed. We had a small problem with the Wi-Fi, which was put right quickly and with a great deal of attention to customer service by the owner. I cannot praise her too highly for doing all that she could to make our stay enjoyable and resolve any problems, however small. The area is a good location for a family, with a huge variety of beaches within 5 to 15 minutes driving distance. Be aware that the sea can be cold, although that didn't deter our children!. There are surfing schools at the Praia de' Esteiro and Praia San Roman. There are several good restaurants, but the one we liked the best is the Hotel Semaforo de Bares (on a headland which is the most northerly point in Spain)where the food is very good and two of the staff speak English. Our favourite was the Paella Marisco, but you do need to order it in advance (it takes more than an hour to cook). Directions to the beaches and descriptions of the restaurants are all in the "welcome pack" which is emailed to you and available in the apartment. We can thoroughly recommend the area, the apartment and the attention to customer service shown by Siusan (the owner). Truly a 5-star service.
