Charmante und persönlich eingerichtet, sehr großzügige Austattung der Küche inkl. Gewürze, grosse Terrasse, super komfortables Kingsize Bett, ruhige Lage nahe dem historischen Zentrum von Port Arthur. Das große Plus: der Holzofen, den wir gerne benützt haben. Hier wären wir gerne noch etwas länger geblieben.

Great location only 400 meters from a few shops and 1km from Port Arthur historic site.
Full facilities for cooking and washing and drying clothes.
Beds comfortable.
Only heating was a small fan heater in bathroom, apart from a log burner fire.
In October it became a little cool in the evening but we could not justify lighting the fire.

It was very well equipped and comfortable.

We walked in there and were immediately taken aback. The smell of wood fire was overwhelming. There was no way we could stay and sleep in there, and it would probably have got worse if we lit the fire. We opened the back door but it did nothing to help. We didn’t stay, we locked up and left. I doubt if the accomodation would pass an OH&S inspection.
As far as Hidden Gem , that is false advertising, the accomodation was very basic at best.
We think we deserve a full refund. Fortunately we found good accommodation a short drive from there.

Great communication. Awesome location. Everything you need is there. Everything works well. Bonus points for indoor and outdoor flip flops! Love the fireplace. The instruction to start the fire is clear. We would love to come back and stay anytime!

Was perfect for my friend and me at the end of the three capes hike. We warmed up by the log burner, washed and dried our hiking clothes, had a hot shower and then a very comfy bed each! Thank you!
Everything in The Shed has been well thought out and there was everything that we needed. Lovely view into the garden too. Would come back, for sure!
We tried to come up with some ideas for improvement but couldn’t come up with anything sensible.

Beautiful location with lots of wildlife and birdlife
Use of rain water and available pantry items helped that we didnt have to buy lots of unnecessary groceries like oil, spices, coffee.

Location was good and space well equipped. Hosts communicated well, great it had wifi.Food spots local motel was good and for something special the Bay across road was excellent. Hosts provided spreads, sauces etc.
Bit cold in middle of night to 4am and duvet didn’t fit bed well as in too small. The shed is close to road so night trucks are quite noisy. Not much supply or coffee shops close by.

It was such a cosy environment and the surrounds were beautiful and peaceful. Loved having the fire.
Summer may be tough with no air conditioning.

The instructions for arrival where easy to follow. They'd thought of everything, tea, coffee, milk, food basics. I was worried we'd be cold but the log burner was great and the bedding/duvets very toasty.
Not enough time there, local shops are very expensive so stop at Sorell on the way for your groceries/wine.

Was everything that we needed. Wood fire was perfet to warm the space. Were so surprised and thankful for washing machine and dryer as we were in much need for some clean clothes on our travels.

The house stores rain water for usage. Therefore, the owner reminds users not to take a bath more than three minutes. There was no curtain in the shower.

Wow! this place was just awesome. It was comfortable and the hosts had gone to a lot of effort to make it feel homely and real. Nothing false or hotel like. Absolutely loved this place. Keen to come back.
